AN: Ok, so since Kurama is going to be talking a lot now, the bold text thing, I'm going to stop, so yeah, it'll just say when Kurama is speaking. Also, 'Hello' means Kurama is talking to Naruto telepathically. ]

Naruto watches as the cage of the once-contained Kurama is now completely gone. The giant nine-tailed fox was now free. Before he could ask any more questions, the reality faded, and his eyes shuttered open.

'Naruto, you can hear me, right?'

Naruto blinked, "Kurama?"

'Yes, Naruto… I can talk to you freely now though you will hear my voice in your head, so remember, others can't hear me.'

Naruto scratches his head, "Alright."

Naruto looks around the room with a small amount of light radiating from the sun. He woke up early for the first time he's been there in four years. Naruto stares at the sleeping Emilia before sighing and walking out the door.

With Kurama, I can train now! I bet who knows so much about Jutsu!

Naruto looked around the outside before saying, "Alright, Kurama can you teach me some uh Jutsu, please."

'First, you need to learn the different types of Jutsu.'

Naruto sighed, "Learning… can't I just do it?"

'That dumb cat has raised you to be a lazy little brat. There are three types of Jutsu, ninjutsu, taijutsu and genjutsu. You already have plenty of chakra within yourself and my chakra, but you need to learn chakra control. This will be difficult to watch, but please try to climb up a frozen tree using your chakra. Focus it on your feet and then walk up.'

Naruto tried to understand but was struggling, "Focus my chakra? How?"

'Naruto, just do it. Like, imagine you walking up the tree and focusing on your feet. Imagine energy being formed around your feet that stick to the tree.'

Naruto somewhat understood the explanation and attempted to walk up a frozen tree and then fell right back down. He wondered how to climb this tree since it was vertical and slippery.

'Naruto, it doesn't matter if it's slippery. Just do it. I will figure out a way to make a little avatar since you don't have full control over my chakra yet. But I need to teach that stupid cat a lesson.'

Naruto agreed, "Puck is mean. He's so weird about me being around Emilia or leaving the forest. I don't understand… he never taught me how to use magic or whatever they call it in this world, ya know!"

'Not to mention his teaching methods are what I'd compare to the likes of the snake sage. For one, so that you know, Naruto babies do not come from kissing another girl. God, that flying cat….'

Naruto laughed, "Yeah, I knew that already… well, I know they don't come from kissing, at least."

'Yeah, I'll let your mother explain that to you when you're older. Her chakra is still sealed within Minato's sealing formula but is set to trigger later. Anyways train. I'm going to figure out this tiny avatar.'

Naruto nodded before attempting to climb the tree again and failing. He tried again and failed. Once again failed. Eventually, he managed to get three steps up the tree before falling. After about two hours of testing, Emilia was now awake.

"Naruto, what are you doing?"

Naruto grinned with a slight blush, "Training! Kurama can train me in jutsu now, believe it!"

Ok, Naruto, you got to climb up this tree right now. That'll look so lame. I can't just fall.

Naruto focused his chakra on the bottom of his feet and raced up the frozen tree getting higher than he had previously. He made it to a branch and sat on top of it.

Naruto smiled, "Pretty cool, ya know?"

Directly after, he said that the frozen branch he was sitting on caused him to lose balance, and he fell off the tree.

'I could've cushioned that fall for you, but I didn't because I'm not like that stupid cat.'

Naruto sighed, "Shut up, Kurama, that didn't even hurt much!"

'Because my chakra HEALS YOU. What a unique new concept for training a shinobi.' however, it seems you had a boost in your training due to being watched by that girl.'

Emilia tilted her head as Kurama and Naruto argued, but Emilia couldn't hear Kurama's voice.

"Naruto, uh, what are you doing? Who are you talking to?"

'Hold on, hold on, before that cat shows up. I need this avatar to work. Ok, Naruto, put out your hands, and I'll do the rest.'

Naruto took out his hands, and Kurama formed a miniature version of his Kyuubi avatar. Emilia and Naruto watched in amazement at the floating Kurama that was the size similar to that of Puck.

Kurama smiled, "Finally, finally. I can talk. I can not be stuck listening to babbling nonsense all day. This is the best day since we've arrived, Naruto."

Naruto grinned in excitement, "That's so cool! Emilia, this is Kurama. He is the nine-tailed fox and is super powerful, believe it!"

Kurama looked at Naruto in disappointment, "Your only reference to my power is me destroying you know what? Never mind."

Emilia looked at the orange nine-tailed fox with tiny black lines on each tail and a circle around the stomach of the small avatar.

Emilia stared at the fox, "Kurama?"

Kurama nodded, "Yes, that is my name. You are Emilia, correct? I truly do pity you for having to learn from that spirit."

Emilia wasn't paying attention to Kurama's words and wanted to pet what she thought was a spirit fox.

Emilia asked with a shallow but curious tone, "Can I… pet you?"

Kurama's eyes widened for a moment, "Naruto… you know if we were in any other situation… never mind, fine but don't say pet. I'm not a pet; I'm Kurama, who's lived thousands of years. You can call it… sensing my power."

Emilia's eyes lit up, "Alrighttt, I'll sense your power."

While Emilia begins to sense, Kuramas power or pet Kurama Naruto is getting bombarded with remarks by Kurama.

'You owe me twelve of your lives, no thirteen. What have I been reduced to? Oh, I forgot to mention that some weird woman tried to enter your soul, and I prevented her from doing so. You're welcome. I should've told Minato that… well anyways, Naruto, how long until she's done? Wait, no… I'm going to use this to screw over the Cat. Yes, that is the plan. Even with the chakra within this small avatar, I can easily match him in power.'

Puck appeared after a few minutes of Emilia sensing Kurama's power. The power is equal to or grand than the Witch of Envy. When Puck saw this, he was immediately afraid as he saw the tiny version of what he had previously encountered when he tried to kill Naruto. However, his father's instincts overrode his instincts to run away as he flew toward the scene.

Puck glared at Emilia, "What is going on?"

Emilia giggled, "Naruto has a spirit too! I think…"

Kurama spoke, "I am not a spirit. I am a tailed beast, or just think of me as a giant nine-tailed fox named Kurama."

Puck questioned, "Emilia, are you sure it's safe to be around that thing?"

Emilia stuck out her tongue, "That's mean! His name is Kurama, and he's nice."

'I've won. That easily. Good, very good. That idiotic cat is no longer the voice of reason. No, wait, that's not right. He was the voice of insanity; now, I'm the voice of reason. Naruto, I hope you enjoy listening to my rambling.'

Naruto sighed after hearing countless things Kurama had been ranting about since his seal was undone. Still, Naruto understood that having pent-up anger for such a long time could only result in such an outcome. However, he also wanted to learn more about being a shinobi.

Emilia let go of Kurama, and he began floating in front of the two while Puck watched.

Kurama spoke to the two, "Alright, so training. I have no idea how you do in this world for you, Emilia, but I can give you some tips. To start, assume I mean mana whenever I say chakra now let's continue Naruto your lesson for today is chakra control so climb up the trees until you can do it without thinking about it." Kurama turned his head towards Emilia, " Your lesson is the density of your attacks. Instead of shooting multiple more miniature icicles or one larger one with the same amount of chakra, focus on putting more chakra in one attack. Shoot it at Puck; if you hurt him, you completed your day's training."

Both Emilia and Naruto were excited about the new challenge and new opportunities from their new training. Naruto was ready to learn any jutsu, and Emilia was excited to make her magic more potent.

As the two practiced, Kurama and Puck began their conversation.

Puck glared in annoyance and fear, "So you what I saw that night?"

Kurama grinned, "Correct. It's funny because I was planning to shield Naruto, but you're to scared to even go past sensing my aura. You are a shit parental figure or whatever you're trying to be."

Puck refuted, "I've kept Emilia safe this entire time."

Kurama laughed, "No, you haven't. Not to mention that you are very lucky I haven't killed you for trying to murder Naruto in his sleep. I've kept Naruto alive and been forced to listen to your dumb, obsessive parenting where you cradle Emilia like an overprotective mother."

Puck tried to think of something to argue against, but everything Kurama said was true. He was overprotective and obsessive over Emilia. He also knew that Kurama could kill him at any moment and hasn't, which almost gave Puck a sense of respect towards Kurama. He also noted that Kurama is fine with Emilia, which has a being with equal or more power than the Witch of Envy. Protecting Emilia would be ideal.

Puck sighed, "Fine, you win."

'Naruto, I beat the cat. We won.'

Puck decided to take a more passive and distant approach with Emilia and Naruto, given Kurama's presence was both a protection and he couldn't stop him from doing anything anyways.

As the day passed, Emilia learned how to increase the density of her magical attacks allowing her to improve both the damage and speed of her projectiles. Naruto was still having trouble learning how to climb the tree but could do it about one out of every four attempts correctly.

After finishing her training, Emilia noticed Naruto struggling, "Naruto, you can climb up the tree. That's good enough, right?"

Naruto shook his head, "No. Now that Kurama is here, I must learn how to control my chakra." he then formed a sheepish grin, "Then once I learn a bunch of jutsu, I can protect you believe it!"

Kurama noticing this decided to toy with Naruto, "Right. Trying to impress Emilia with the most basic level of training a shinobi can do. Whatever works, just climb up the tree. You are not sleeping until you do."

Naruto nodded, and now having Kurama and Emilia witnessing his attempt, he climbed up the tree without thinking about it and stood on top of a tree branch before swinging back and standing on it with his body defying gravity as his feet stuck to the frozen tree branch.

Kurama commented, "I think your next Hashirama! Now let's see you get down from there."

After thinking about what Kurama said, Naruto lost balance and fell right onto the ground. However, he was satisfied with what he accomplished as Emilia looked impressed with what he did.

Emilia clapped her hands, "That was sooo cool. I wish I could do that."

Naruto scratched his nose, "Thanks, Emilia. Your training went well, right?"

Emilia nodded, "Wanttt to see?"

Naruto agreed and watched Emilia form the same normal icicle he was used to. Still, when it hit the tree that Emilia was aiming at, it made a considerable noise at impact, and the speed and force were much more significant than what Naruto had previously seen.

Kurama laughs, "Emilia, you may need to protect Naruto."

Naruto stared, annoyed, "Shut up! I'm four years behind in training anyways!"

Emilia formed a slight blush, "It's okay, Naruto. You don't have to protect me."

Naruto's face slowly turned red as he attempted to find a response but failed.

'I'll help you this time… you owe me another life now.'

Kurama spoke, "Naruto does have the potential, I will admit. His father was a man I both hated and now came to admire. Once Naruto learns the Flying Thunder God, Rasengan, not to mention using my power as a chakra cloak, he will most definitely be able to protect you. Even from who Puck was afraid of the Witch of Envy or whatever."

Emilia's body tensed up, "Wit-ch of Envy…."

Naruto wondered, "What's the witch of envy?"

Kurama sighed, "Puck must've failed to teach you that. And I have no idea who that is, but Puck can give this answer I shall permit."

Puck, who was a distance away, flew towards the ongoing conversation and spoke, "The Witch of Envy was a powerful witch that swallowed half of the world four centuries ago. It took a sword saint, a sage, and a dragon to kill it."

Kurama noticed the word sage and inquired, "Sage? Are there people in this world that know how to use senjutsu? The natural energy in this world is much more negative, so I thought it was impossible to teach Naruto."

Puck stared in confusion, "What? Flugul was called the Sage because of his unmatched intelligence."

Kurama hissed in disappointment, "So the strongest thing in this world is a witch? Seriously? Naruto, you might be the strongest person in history."

Kurama could sense Puck's feelings which Puck had a similar power, but Kurama could sense all emotions or intentions. He sensed Puck feeling remorse when he spoke of the Witch of Envy and could only wonder what the relationship was.

The day went by, and when Kurama had the chance, he asked what he was curious about from earlier.

Kurama stared at the cat spirit, "What is the relationship between the witch you spoke of and Emilia? I'm just curious because you felt remorse towards her when you spoke about it."

Puck stared angrily, "Why do you want to know?"

Kurama released an aura to force Puck to respond, which worked effectively.

"Emilia resembles… the Witch of Envy. That's why I haven't let her leave the forest."

Kurama was enraged, "Naruto had the very same thing and was alone with nobody and was fine by building up such a fear of insecurity or projecting it toward Emilia. She shouldn't be bothered by an appearance that resembles some historical villain. Naruto was the host of the villain and was fine… well, not really, but still."

Puck begins to reflect on the words Kurama spoke. Kurama was stronger, smarter, and older than Puck, so he had no room to argue. His points were correct, leaving Puck in a state of both regret and sadness as he realized what his parenting could've led to in the future. Emilia could've been emotionally immature for the rest of her life if Naruto and Kurama had never appeared that day four years ago.

The next week passed, and Naruto was ready for a new technique. Emilia was at a standstill with her magic, but Naruto encouraged her to try new ideas, like shapes and objects, to form her ice.

Kurama looked at Emilia and Naruto on their eighth day of training.

Kurama said, "Emilia, you seem to stand a standstill with your potential. Unfortunately, that is a truth that you must accept. Many shinobi are born with a certain amount of chakra that they have, and they'll never surpass what they can naturally produce. Naruto has the exact opposite issue, where he has potential back and lacks understanding. Emilia, your job will be to help Naruto however you see fit."

Emilia was disappointed but excited to help Naruto in his training, while Naruto was very excited to spend time with Emilia and show her his shinobi way.

Kurama continued, "Naruto, you will learn that shadow clone jutsu, ninjutsu. I've figured out how to write with my tails, so I created a little drawing of the hand sign and the instructions on how to do it. After that, I will teach you the Rasengan, and once you master that, the ninjutsu your father used, the flying thunder god."

Naruto shouted in excitement, "This is so awesome! Thanks, Kurama. I'm finally going to learn new techniques."

Kurama used one of his tails to hand Naruto the paper, and Emilia and Naruto inspected it, trying to understand the technique. Usually, Naruto would take a very long time to learn anything, but in this case, since the shadow clone jutsu only required chakra, he could do it almost instantly. When he first tried, twenty clones appeared.

Emilia looked around at the countless clones of Naruto in amazement, "That's sooooo cool. I've never even seen anything like this."

Naruto's clones all said at the same time, "It worked! That was easier than I thought."

Kurama whipped one of his tails around as all the clones disappeared, and Naruto was satisfied. However, Kurama was done for the day. Now that Naruto knows the shadow clone jutsu, all techniques will be learned quickly.

Naruto asked, "Kurama, how about we go outside the forest today? We've been training all week, and none have left the forest yet."

'Good idea.'

Kurama nodded, "Hmmm. I wonder if you can use my chakra to create a cloak yet. I will try and see if it works."

Naruto nods but is confused, and Emilia watches as the area around Naruto begins to change, and an orange-like cloak surrounds Naruto's body.

Kurama smiled, "So I can be in this state, and you can use the cloak. That's good. Alright, well, Emilia… first, let's see if Naruto can use the cloak correctly. Naruto, run as fast as you can."

Naruto agreed, "Alright, I feel so much power coursing through me. It's so strange, but it feels like I've gotten so much stronger."

Kurama sighed, "It's because you have… do what I said."

Naruto began to run towards a tree but hit it, traveling at speeds only Kurama could see. Naruto hit his head on the tree and felt confused. Emilia thought that Naruto had just teleported.

'Naruto, you can't use this yet, but I have an idea. Let me take over your body momentarily, and I can take Emilia with you to a nearby village.'

Naruto sighed, "Finee. I wanted to do it, though, ya know."

'Right, you wanted to be able to hold Emilia while you crashed into a tree. Nope.'

Naruto and Kurama began to change places, and now Kurama was in control of Naruto's body.

Kurama's avatar explained, "Emilia, I took over Naruto's body so he can use the chakra cloak correctly. So basically, I'm Naruto right now. I'm going to pick you up and then travel to a village in that direction" as he pointed.

Emilia tilted her head confused, "Uhh, alright."

Naruto's body then picked up Emilia, and within a minute, they arrived at a village. Naruto and Kurama switched back, and Emilia was still in Naruto's hands.

Naruto spoke, "Uh, Emilia, it's me again, uh, you can go down now."

'It's sad to watch. I don't blame you. However, it's that cat's fault.'

Emilia hopped out of Naruto's hands, and Naruto's cloak dissipated. They were in the middle of a town where Emilia, Naruto, and Kurama had no idea where they were. Naruto saw many people begin to glare in their direction, and Kurama reformed his mini avatar.

'Naruto I forgot to mention this, but Emilia resembles some villain four hundred years ago, so people might treat her as they treated you even though the logic makes no sense… anyways, just know that.'

Naruto begins to think about what Kurama just told him. He didn't want Emilia to look down upon him like he was in Konoha and didn't want to see it. But he also knew that the best way to solve the situation would be for Emilia not to care as he tried to. He thought about the boy that was also alone, the last remaining member of the Uchiha clan. He knew that if he had a friend back then, even if everyone stared at him, he wouldn't care.

As many villagers stare at the trio, Naruto whispers into Emilia's ear, "Don't be bothered by their stares. There just jealous."

Emilia looked at Naruto with confusion, "Jealous of what?"

Naruto smirked, "Jealous that Kurama is on our side."

'Idiot more like anything else….'

As Emilia and Naruto made their way through the village, taking in the sights and sounds of the outside world for the first time, they quickly realized they were attracting much attention. Everywhere they went villagers stopped to stare at them, gazes drawn to Emilia and the strange, fox-like creature that accompanied her.

Naruto, on the other hand, was more aware of the attention they were receiving. He kept a close eye on the villagers, ready to defend Emilia if necessary.

Despite the initial hostility they faced, Naruto's words were effective in calming the villagers down. They slowly began to relax, and the fear and hatred in their eyes dissipated. Emilia was grateful for Naruto's help, and she couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth in her heart.

As they continued to explore the village, Emilia and Naruto encountered many different people, each with their own stories and experiences. Emilia was fascinated by the town's diversity and couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder at the world around her.

As Emilia and Naruto continued to explore the new world, Kurama kept a close eye on them, constantly vigilant and ready to protect them if necessary. Kurama led the way, his powerful and graceful form guiding Emilia and Naruto through the unfamiliar terrain. Despite their challenges, Kurama remained calm and composed, his years of experience as the most powerful-tailed beast giving him confidence and control.

He knew every sound and movement around them, always looking for potential dangers. Finally, they arrived back at the forest, and Kurama switched back to Naruto, allowing the young boy to get some rest. As he watched Naruto and Emilia settle in for the night, Kurama couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment.

Also Kurama, Naruto and Emilia will all be very different then their cannon counterparts because this fic changes a lot of things. So i mean Naruto will still have his core traits but for one his first crush won't be a useless pink-haired bitch and secondly there's less conflict so like more time for Naruto and Emilia's relationship to grow. Uhhh what else oh right so at age like sixteen or fifteen idk but Roswaal shows up then so I have to do first Naruto will master shadow clone, flying thunder god and rasengan before roswaal appears and I have to do the fight with Melakuera (Big annoying spirit that came to kill Emilia)

But I'm going to be safe with how I scale Naruto because like kurama already is soloing rezero verse but I'm going to use naruto's like young body as a reason so every conflict isnt super easy to solve in the future if i ever get to the start of cannon
