'Has Beerus and Whis left already?' Vegan demanded as she looked around the party.

'They left 5 minutes ago.' Goku answered, eying the princess closely as disappointment rushed to her. 'Why?'

'I was hoping they could take me back to Planet Krad-'

'Take you back?' Trunks cried as his father jerked his head up immediately. 'But you just got back.'

'I was in the middle of something-'

'You hadn't seen your FAMILY in TWO YEARS-' Bloomerstarted in before Vegan countered with, 'And when I left, that FAMILY made it painfully apparent that I was no longer welcomed.'

'Why do you need to go to Planet Krad?' asked Dr. Briefs, taking Vegan by the shoulders and leading her away from a scowling Bloomer and a rueful-looking Trunks.

'That's where my ship is; King Kai brought me here to appease Beerus. Besides, I wanted to talk to him about a rumor I heard.'

'What rumor?'

'When I was still living under Frieza, I used to hear whispers about a small group of sayains that escaped before Planet Vegeta's destruction; the group was said to be led by the king

himself.'

'What?' Bloomer, Trunks, and Goku rushed to them.

'Are you saying your father could be alive?' asked the doctor.

'I don't know, maybe. I was hoping Beerus could help me.'

'King Kai might know.' Goku said quietly. 'I could ask for you.'

She avoided his gaze. 'I want to do this on my own.'

Goku's shoulders sagged. 'Ok.'

'You can't go anywhere without a ship Vegan!' huffed Bloomer. 'At least let Goku find out what King Kai knows while I build a ship.'

'I can always find Raditz's ship-'

'Well, then, let Bloomer do that while you and I have a girls' day.' Mrs. Briefs said, taking Vegan by the arm. 'We can catch up. The doctor and I missed talking to you.'

Vegan glanced at the doctor and his wife and gave them a tiny smile. 'I've missed you as well.

'Then it is settled!' the doctor announced. 'We can catch up while Bloomer builds your ship.'

Vegan sighed and rubbed her temples. 'Fine.'

'Goku, you have to find out what King Kai knows.' Bloomer ordered. 'Let me know everything you find out!'

'Well, I don't know...' Goku peeked at her. 'Vegan doesn't seem to-'

'Goku-'

'I should get back to my family.'
