'Mom seems angry with us.' Trunks grieved later that night as he, his father, and his grandfather sat in the lab. 'She barely talked to us.'
'She's been a brat!' Bloomer hissed. 'She abandoned us!'
'You two weren't very nice to her during the months after the tournament.' the doctor pointed out.
Trunks' lips trembled while Bloomer scoffed, 'She blew up the planet! What we did was harmless in comparison! She should be begging for our forgiveness!'
'No, she should beg for Trunks' forgiveness; in reality, she doesn't need yours.'
Bloomer turned away from him as Trunks mumbled, 'She doesn't seem to want me anymore.'
'Trunks,' said the doctor, 'Vegan is your mom; you always have a place in her heart. If you go to her, she will talk to you.'
'I don't know...' Trunks wiped his eyes. 'Mom, she's- she's not the forgiving type.'
Trunks leave as Bloomer turns to his father. 'That woman has no right to act as if we wronged her!'
'Bloomer, if you don't want to forgive her, don't. But don't stand in the way of reconciliation between her and Trunks.'
'I'm not; she is! I only put up with her for the sake of the boy!'
'Then why didn't you let us put her in a hotel?'
Bloomer ran his fingers through his hair as he looked away. 'I don't know; I mean, she called me My Bloomer and fought a god for me- I thought... I don't know.'
'Ah.'
Bloomer squirmed and turned to a computer. 'I thought I could talk to her... but she's behaving like a baby!'
'She might not want to be with you,' the doctor placed a hand on his head, ruffling his hair, 'infidelity is hard to forgive.'
'Yes, but... I mean, I charmed her once; I believe I can do it again.'
