'Are you going?' Krillin asked Goku a few nights later as they sat on Roshi's stoop.

It was Roshi's birthday, and the gang was helping him celebrate; Goku went outside to look at the crescent moon; Krillin and his wife, Eighteen, thought he looked down.

'Going where?' Goku asked, startled by their presence.

'To space.' Eighteen looked to the sky. 'I've never been; we're going.'

'The ship will be too small.'

'Not with His Royal Highness building it. Bloomer will make it big enough to house the entire East district. And he'll probably have it, so he's the only one who can pilot it.'

Goku turned to her. 'You think so?'

'Of course! When you told him about Vegan fighting Beerus, it caused that tin man to find his heart again.'

'What do you mean?'

'He still wants Vegan.'

'You don't know that.' Krillin pointed out. 'Besides, he's with Yamcha.'

'I never said she wanted him back.' Eighteen laughed, clearly tipsy. 'Vegan doesn't want him; I can't say I blame her.'

'I haven't really thought about space.' Goku confessed.

'I imagine you haven't had the time, Grandpa Goku.'

He smiled at the comment and looked at Gohan and Videl, surrounded by the partygoers.

'It's crazy that you're going to be a grandfather!' Krillin exclaimed. 'How does it feel?'

'Surreal. I look at Gohan and still see him as that little boy in the sayain suit, happy that I'm finally home.'

'I bet Chi Chi is ecstatic!'

'She's knitted three blankets since.' he looks at them. 'Is Bloomer coming?'

'He's coming.'

'Is he bringing Vegan?'

'He didn't say. Did Vegan mention anything about surviving sayains to you?'

'No, never.'

'It's wild that her father might still be alive.' Krillin glanced at Goku. 'You okay?'

'I'm fine.'

'You seem distracted.'

'Just got a lot on my mind.'

'Sorry, we're late,' Bloomer's voice boomed as he, his family, Yamcha, and Vegan stepped off the capsule corp plane, 'I brought a case of wine to make up for it.'

Goku watched Vegan float into a palm tree, earning her a scowl from Bloomer and a frown from Trunks. Everyone fell silent as the mood of the party dampened.

'I told you that she'd ruin the party.' Yamcha huffed after an hour of somberness.

'Yamcha!'

'Well, she did!' Yamcha announced, earning a scowl from Trunks. 'She ruins everything!'

'Yamcha-' Chi Chi said, gesturing to Trunks.

'I wish she'd leave and never come back!'

This made Trunks scream, 'The only reason while dad is with you is because of what my mom did at the tournament!'

'Excuse me?!'

'If she hadn't, they'd still be together!'

Yamcha turned to Bloomer, who stood between them, then to Trunks. 'You can't speak to me like that!'

'I can do whatever ever I damn well please!'

'Trunks!' Mrs. Briefs turned to him, stunned.

'Bloomer, correct him!' Yamcha demanded.

'Trunks, don't use profanity in front of the adults.'

'Bloomer, make him apologize!'

Bloomer pinched the bridge of his nose. 'Can we discuss this later.'

'Make him apologize!'

'I will never apologize!'

'Bloomer!'

'Can we do this later!'

'Not until I get an apology!'

'You're not getting one!' Trunks screamed. 'Even if I did, that doesn't prevent it from standing true! You're foolish if you believe that you're fairer than my mother!'

'Your mother is a whore!'

'You're out of line!' Bloomer flared.

'You hung around long after my father threw you out, even though he moved on, and you call my mother a whore! If my mom hadn't given in to Bobibi, you and my dad wouldn't be together! The second my mom turned her back, you bounced into his bed! I only see one whore here!'

'Your parents were only together because your mom got pregnant!'

'Yamcha!' yelled Dr. and Mrs. Briefs as Trunks stormed away; Bloomer called after him.

'Why did you have to say that?!' Bloomer hissed.

'Well, it's true!'

'No, it's not! And did have to say all those things about his mother!'

'Because it's true! Why did you insist that she come?!'

'Because my son wanted to spend time with his mother! Did you have to say that in front of him!'

'Well, he should be used to I how to talk about her-'

'And I've told you repeatedly that I don't want you speaking ill of her in front of my son! He doesn't like it; she's never done that to you in front of him. Show her some respect!'

'I don't want to respect her!'

'Then respect my son! He doesn't like how you talk about his mother!'

'She's the one who abandoned him-'

'Yamcha-'

'Why should I respect her?!'

'Because she's the mother of my child!'

'He's a child; why are you letting him-'

'Ugh!' Bloomer turned away her as Chi Chi shook her. 'That child is mine! Mines and Vegan's!'

'Don't remind me!'

'I must remind you because you seem to forget that he comes first in my life, not you!'

'If you'd made her have an abortion-'

'You little bit-' Bloomer stopped. 'You and I are done.'

Bloomer rushed after Trunks as Eighteen chuckled and handed her some money. Goku looked between them. 'What was that?'

'I bet him a hundred yeni now that Vegan was back, Bloomer would find a way to break up with Yamcha.'

'They've broken up dozens of times during the past two years and always got back together.'

'That's because Vegan wasn't around,' Eighteen sipped some of her wine. 'He's practically obsessed with her.'

Goku watched Vegan's Tree for the rest of the night.
