WELCOME DRAGONBORN'S OF SKYRIM, this is your fellow Dovakin, King here, first I brought you "The High king" of Skyrim then the "High queen" and last time was "The hidden one" and now it's time to move onto the final member of the king's most trusted allies, this time around I bring to you a bound weapon specialist that fights and looks more like a Nordic warrior rather than a traditional mage
So, without further delay, I bring to you
"The bound sorceress"
Let's get started
Description:
The bound sorceress is a powerful and highly intelligent, female High elf who fights more like a battle mage rather than traditional foot soldier of the Aldmeri dominion, while she has the looks of a beautiful High elf who is just as intelligent as her mother, thanks to her father she is said to have the strength and stamina of three, fully grown men, combined together, the bound sorceress is an incredibly unique and VERY strong sorceress and one that even other highly skilled mages would think twice before challenging her, but while she could use magic traditionally, she prefers to put the warriors genes passed down to her from her father to good usage and using them with her bound weapons to strike her foes down
Backstory:
The bound sorceress was born and raised in the Summer set isles to an Orcish father who was a smith for the Aldmeri dominion and a High elf mother, while it was highly looked down upon, the mother was a highly respected member of the Thalmor and even at the tender age of ten, she had an unprecedented aptitude for the mystical arts, she could remember spells after a single glace, cast advanced spells way beyond her years with ease and even outclassed many of her magical teachers from her sheer talent in magic, though she was immensely successful in her training and has a brilliant mind, she would often question why the elven pantheon of God's were superior to the other God's from other races, she began to wear on her elders with her constant questions, as an adult she developed a reputation for being…quirky which in the eyes of many other elves that meant she was not one of them, though they could not deny her prowess when it came to magic or even physical combat when she chose a different path, by the age of thirty she became an elite Thalmor battlemage and was both respected and praised for her prowess in magic and combat but overtime she became…bored of her new position and desired a change, so in a completely unseen twist one night whilst on patrol, she managed to slip away from her fellow Thalmor's and she in turn became a "traitor" to the rest of her brothers and sisters in arms, but she cared little, before her father passed away he told her that he wanted her to follow what her heart wanted and what it wanted was to be free to be who she wanted to be, not what others wanted her to be, she traveled for the next couple of years, she perfected the art of bound weapon combat and grew stronger and stronger in her magic, eventually coming across three travelers, a benevolent Nord, a beautiful Redguard and a mourning Argonian and for some strange reason she fit right in with them, after telling them her story, she accepted her into their fold with the Nord saying "Difference's aren't to be shunned and hidden away they are to be celebrated and embraced" and in turn after seeing that the Nord was the son of Skyrim's high king, she saw that he was truly a man worthy to be followed and eventually became very close friends with him and the other two, almost like extended family, eventually they crossed over the border into the Skyrim and from there…you all know the drill
Roleplay:
The bound sorceress is a chaotic good character who after her and her three allies are separated, her High king sends her a message asking for her help to protect Skyrim from all manner of supernatural and paranormal threats, while the Hidden one thins out and battles physical threats, but while she was capable, she knew she needed more to fulfill her duties to her High king and queen, thus her first stop is the College of Winterhold where she becomes a student and thanks to her incredible skills and talent in magic she rapidly excels, quickly making a name for herself and eventually becomes Archmage, therefore becoming the foremost expert on all threats magic, occult and supernatural related, through this position which she accepts fully, she travels across Skyrim and tracks down anything either artifacts or tomes of knowledge with a supposed or guaranteed magical ties and hordes them in her player home, not to use them for her own selfish deeds but to prevent anyone who would misuse these items for their selfish desires, while she is highly intelligent and talented thanks to years of burying her nose in books she's become…more than a little socially awkward when talking to others so to represent this, choose the less intelligent or quirky dialog options when talking to NPC's, she takes the role of a Doctor Who kind of character, showing up when needed, dealing with any threat that falls under the supernatural, paranormal or demonic kind of threat and then leaves without even the tiniest bit of reward or even so much as a thank you, not that she is humble but, other than the High king, queen and the Hidden one, she doesn't really know how to talk to others without being called weird but more often than not she is recognized as "That one from the college" which she is more than okay with, she knows her talents are useful here even though other's don't recognize it
Quest lines:
Main quest (The bound sorceress after discovering that she is Dragonborn will jump at the chance to study with and be trained by the Graybeards thus she will locate and learn every single shout that is available to her in the game and even spares Paarthurnax, the chance to learn from an actual dragon that doesn't wanna kill you, no WAY she can pass that up)
Dragonborn (The bound sorceress is troubled by the discovery of someone trying to kill her but even more so when she finds out that this being is a Dragonborn just like her, this guy could spell absolute disaster to the High king and queen's future role, so she takes him down and does NOT become the new apprentice of Hermaeus Mora, she will also dig into each of the black books and learn they're secrets)
Dawnguard (The bound sorceress joins the Dawnguard to eliminate one of the biggest threats in the supernatural community, Harkon, so she jumps at the chance to help them and takes the vampires down, save for Serana and Valerica, she will also spend a lot of time in the Soul Carin learning everything there is to learn about it and acquiring all the unique summons that can be found in it)
College of Winterhold (This is the main faction of the bound sorceress, so complete any and all quests that can be found in and around the college from the main quest to miscellaneous quests given by teachers and students)
Daedric quests (The bound sorceress will want to collect all the Daedric artifacts minus the Skeleton key and if you come across Daedric quest lines that have you kill someone like "Boethiah's calling", "House of horrors", "Break of dawn" and "The only cure" you can justify that it would benefit the greater good to get rid of them as for the other quests don't kill anyone innocent like in "Pieces of the past")
Miscellaneous quests (Other quests include "Unearthed", "Wolfskull cave", "The wolf queen awakens", "Forbidden legend", "Ashore in a sea of ghosts", "The pale lady", "Shalidor's insights", "The white phial", "Repairing the phial", collecting all Dragon priest masks in the game and any other quest that deals with supernatural, occult or paranormal threats)
Becoming Thane of each hold in Skyrim
State spread and standing stone:
When playing with this character you will want to put 1 in Magicka, 3 in Health and 1 in Stamina, Magicka and Stamina are used of course to cast spells and summon Bound weapons and of course Stamina is used for sprinting and power attacks but Health is more important so invest more Health than the other two for survivability, we will have the Aetherial crown so that means we will have two standing stones one being the Apprentice stone which grants you double Magicka and regeneration speed but with a penalty to being more vulnerable to magic and the second will be the Lord stone to give a much needed boost to physical and magic attacks, even if you are low on Magicka the racial ability "High born" will more than make up for the decreased Magicka regeneration speed
Weapons and armor:
Aethereal crown
Ahzidal's armor of retribution
Ancient Nordic gauntlets (One handed and Fortify Destruction)
Ancient Nordic boots (Frost resistance and Stamina regeneration)
Gold diamond ring (Fortify Alteration and Fortify magic resistance)
Gold diamond necklace (Fortify magic resistance and Fortify Magicka regeneration)
The white phial (Increased magic resistance)
The Aethereal crown as I've said before is used for both the Apprentice and Lord stone combination, Ahzidal's armor of retribution is a great fit for any warrior or mage type build and lucky for you guys this build is BOTH with it equipped there's a chance to paralyze melee attacking foes it is worth the gold and time to get your hands on it during the quest "Unearthed", the enchantments on the gauntlets will boost you're one handed damage and fortifies you're Destruction while the enchantments on the boots will boost frost resistance seeing as how we will need stamina for our melee attacks along with regenerating stamina making them a great combination to have on hand for any warrior build, the ring enchantments will reduce the cost for Alteration spells and boost magic resistance and the necklace enchantments will also boost resistance to magic resistance and boost Magicka regeneration both effects more than make up for the downsides of using the Apprentice stone's power and added with the white phial's ability to let you boost magic resistance once per day, you will be more than covered with resistance to magical attacks when this is combined with your Alteration perks
Skill spread: 55 perks needed
Alteration (Novice Alteration, Apprentice Alteration, Adept Alteration, Expert Alteration, Magic resistance 3/3, Stability, Atronach, Alteration dual casting)
This skill tree boosts our physical defenses which is already boosted thanks to our chest armor pieces but nothing wrong with a little extra fortification when it comes to keeping our character alive now is there?
Archery (Overdraw 5/5, Eagle eye, Steady hand 1/2, Power shot, Quick shot, Bull's eye)
Archery is our only ranged combat option seeing as how the Bound bow will be boosted both from this tree and the Conjuration skill tree, the Bound bow will no doubt be an incredible addition to your arsenal
Conjuration (Novice Conjuration, Apprentice Conjuration, Adept Conjuration, Expert Conjuration, Mystic binding, Soul stealer, Oblivion binding, Necromancy, Summoner 2/2, Dark souls, Twin souls)
The backbone of this build, Bound weapons are some of my favorite weapons in the game so best make sure that they are powerful and that they can soul trap foes and send summoned enemies back to oblivion, also summoned allies like Mist man, Boneman and Wrathmen are super strong in combat, remember to keep the Bound dagger in your left hand for faster attacking speed
Destruction (Novice Destruction, Apprentice Destruction, Adept Destruction, Destruction dual casting)
Destruction is here to add a little extra layer of defense and offence with cloak spells, fire for undead foes, frost for melee foes, shock for magical foes and Whirlwind cloak to send foes flying all over the place
Enchanting (Enchanter 5/5, Soul squeezer, Insightful enchanter, Corpus Enchanter, Extra effect)
One handed (Armsman 5/5, Dual fury 2/2, Dual savagery, Fighting stance, Savage strike)
Dual wielding one handed builds are one of my favorite playstyles and with the combination of this and boosts to defense from the Lord stone and Alteration spells and perks, you got maximum damage output and maximum defensive power in one build

Special moves:
Bound legion (Conjure Wrathman + Summon Arniel's shade + Summon Durnehviir) (The bound sorceress summons her most powerful bound allies to decimate battles when your outnumbered)
Empowerment (Dragon aspect + Ebony flesh + Flame cloak + Bones of earth) (The bound sorceress empowers herself with a combination of physical and magical enhancement spells and abilities than when combined together enable her to bombard her enemies with devastating strength and power)
Ethereal mist (Conjure Mistman + Whirlwind cloak + Become Ethereal + Meditate on Feim) (When low on health, first summon two Mistmen then cast Whirlwind cloak then shout Become Ethereal to become invulnerable and start healing yourself, roleplay this as the bound sorceress becoming one with the mist of her bound allies to heal herself)
Void assault (Dragon aspect + Marked for death + Secret of strength + Bound dagger + Bound sword) (The bound sorceress first empowers herself with Dragon aspect then uses Marked for death on as many foes as she can then activates Secret of strength to make all power attacks cost no Stamina for 60 seconds, she then rushes down all her enemies hit with Marked for death with immensely powerful swigs, cutting them down with the power of a mage and the ferocity of a warrior)
And with those special moves explained, this ends my 14th Skyrim build "The bound sorceress" and this ends the court of the High king, with him, his queen, his assassin and his personal mage covered, we can move on to other projects, if you found this build interesting give it a try in your next Skyrim playthrough and if you do, let me know how it goes, I would love to hear about it
As for next time we'll be delving into possibly my most versatile build I have ever made, a warrior, mage, thief hybrid build that is heavily inspired by both the Witcher and the Assassin's creed series, next time will be
"The slayer"
But until then, ya'll stay safe and healthy out there, thanks for stopping by, it's been my pleasure to host
NINJA VANISH BABY!
