AN: I have somehow only just… kind of… remembered the core concept of a 'drabble'. And it sounds… hopefully doable? Usually a true drabble is 100 words… which could be fun if I chose something small like a loving interaction, an interesting thought process or just nonsense that my silly brain deems amusing. I can do one-shots, especially a lot of words if I'm immensely invested in a fandom at said time. But I'd like to hope short stuff easier for writing practice.
I was going to attempt one a day, with this 100 words, but that might be a tad too ambitious. So some might be a tad longer because want some wiggle room… and upload as many as I can. I'll edit them later if need be.
So I thought with Saiki K being my current… fixation… it was time for a series of drabbles until I move onto something different! Although a little less straightforward due to Saiki's ESP… so it's not all spoken word. Therefore, here is a key!
Key:
Thoughts, obtained through telepathy.
Kusuo talking via telepathy to others or to himself.
Normal speech
I'm using a mixture of my own brain and prompts. Thank you~
Disclaimer: I do not in fact own 'The Disastrous Life of Saiki K'… it belongs to Shūichi Asō.
Kusuo felt his expression turn dour, the urge to roll his eyes at this point was becoming a reflex. His focus followed the languid cat that had forced him to make unnecessary contact, twisting its body and claws breaking through the thin gloves he always wore.
This had all started with the overwhelming relief from Anp dispatching a particularly persistent cockroach, which he naturally believed explained his sudden response of petting the cat. This began as a scratch behind the ears, then petting the head, and here we were with Anp trying to receive a belly rub.
"Mmm human I knew you would learn to worship-"
The psychic retracted his hand, a menacing smile gracing his features.
"You thought wrongly."
The street cat yowled, paws reaching out to demand further attention from its unwilling victim, only to freeze briefly when it looked into their face.
"I-I will make you bow to me, especially with my expert hunting skills!"
Kusuo, in the blink of an eye, locked the sliding door into the garden and teleported himself to his bedroom. He extended a taut hand outwards, calling a manga into his grasp.
'Pearls before swine.'
