I have loved Star Wars for many years, ever since a girl in my third-grade class finally wore me down and convinced me to watch them by refusing to stop nagging me until I did. As it would turn out I owed her a great deal for introducing me to this universe of stories that would shape my adolescence. But as is so familiar with life things changed and for a few years that simple childish joy that I found in the Galaxy Far Far Away eluded me.

I first put pen to page (or keyboard to screen rather) in the Spring of 2020 in an attempt to escape the maddening quarantine-induced boredom. I've worked on probably about a dozen different projects, finished one or two, and have never published one. Until now. I only recently rediscovered my passion for Star Wars and as I have done with most of my other interests over the past couple of years I decided to write about it. I was already pretty familiar with the Star Wars fanfiction community (we didn't get nearly enough Luke Skywalker/Mara Jade moments in the books) so this seemed like a natural first step in sharing my work with a larger audience.

As I said this is my first time sharing any of my writing so any constructive criticism or advice is greatly appreciated. Without further ado, sit back, relax, grab your favorite snack and cup of your favorite beverage, and please enjoy: The Place that The Galaxy Forgot
