Fatu: Gordon, Toriel, Luigi, Bandana Waddle Dee, Nelson, and Infinite

Roku: Matt, Sonic, Li Mei, Little Mac, Claptrap, and Monty Mole

Toka: Kano, Kabal, Tremor, Kristine, Red, and Blu

Fatu: Day 2

The first focus on Fatu this time is Infinite. He's sitting all by himself, chopping into some bamboo…. What happened while the others were doing their tasks?

Infinite: I was left with Nelson and his first impression was awful. He was going on about matters I didn't care about.

Flashback: Day 1

A gray filter shows up, and we see Infinite carrying firewood with both arms. Nelson is breaking his back just carrying the firewood.

"Rough day, huh?"

No response.

"So…what do you wanna talk about?" he asks, trying anything to get a conversation going. Unfortunately for the superfan, Infinite's not really a people person.

The longer they walk, the more topics Nelson tries thinking up.

"Ever try Virtual Reality?" he asks, and the furry stops in his tracks. "No." He continues walking, as Nelson follows with the firewood.

"You pretty much get to immerse yourself in a video game. You look like a gamer so..I thought i'd ask." Nelson explains. "Does it sound interesting to you?"

"Not to me."

Blunt.

"Weeelll…what does?"

"Growing stronger every day to defeat my enemies. There's nothing like the taste of victory." He admits, and all Nelson can do is slowly bob his head up and down. "I thought you would said cosplay."

Nelson: Trying to bond with Infinite and…

Nelson: He's weird.

Present Day

Infinite: ..He was even struggling with firewood. He tried to build a bridge but we're too different. I'm about winning, he's about "cosplaying." Why would you want to copy someone who's better than you?

Ironic coming from you.

The hedgehog decides to go to Gordon out of everyone. As far as the tribe knows, Gordon has taken authority already.

"Since someone has to leave eventually, I suggest Nelson."

"Did he say something?"

"Nothing specific, but let me: He was struggling to carry firewood. He's weak. I'll add on: we will not get along. I'm about winning, he's about virtual reality and hobbies I don't care for." Infinite spills, and man…that's the most honest campaign yet. He just doesn't like the guy.

"You hate him because he's a nerd." Gordon states, and his tribemate snaps a bit. "NO, he's a liability." Did you just raise your voice at the Chef? Oh dear.

"First of all, you don't want to raise your voice at me."

"Fine, I won't." That's a bold faced lie. "I just want to know that if we lose…we write his name down." Infinite asks, and the Chef just turns to him casually:"I'll think about it."

Gordon: Infinite's an idiot. One day in, and he acts like he's the authority. Hell he's already acting like a spoiled brat, you disagree and he raises his voice. You aren't sh*t!

Meanwhile, other people on the tribe are having a MUCH more peaceful time than those two.

Toriel, Luigi, and Bandana Dee are taking a breather at camp.

"What do we think of our tribe?" Toriel asks, breaking the silence. "Hmmm..Gordon's a good leader but, if I'm being honest? He has a temper." Bandana Dee says.

"I'm sure he just wants what's best for us."

"I hope so.."

While they speak, Luigi's eyes end up meeting Toriel's bag. A sharp edge of a book is hanging out. His two tribemates catch his eye on her bag.

"Luigi…" he's back to reality. "Are you ok?" That question, ironically, came from Toriel. He was caught staring, but lucky for him it wasn't anything bad.

"I just saw a book hanging out. Of your bag." Luigi confesses.

"OH, hold on…" she responds. In a matter of seconds, she pulls out the book and dusts off the cover. "It's been a while since anyone has laid eyes on it." The waddle dee in a Bandana perks up. "What's it about?"

Bandana Dee..you just opened up a can of worms.

"This is the History Book. Humans and monsters used to coexist, but thanks to paranoia, a healthy relationship turned into a hostile one." she explains. "Unfortunately..it lead to casualties."

The plumber frowns. "That's dark…"

The waddler just leans forward. "That sounds cool! I wanna hear more!"

This could be a nice bonding moment between some of the tribe. Toriel had little reason to say no, especially since the barrier had already been broken. Even when it wasn't, she still treated The Human right. Luckily, they were a pacifist.

Imagine the horror if it were any different.

Back to the story though, Toriel's ready to spill it all. "My pleasure." The monster says, taking The History Book and opening it up. The waddle dee practically jumps onto his own ass, while Luigi sits down and crosses his legs.

"This dates back thousands of years. Are you both okay being here for a while?" she asks.

"Doesn't bother me!"

"..I don't mind."

While she prepares to read, a Luigi confessional cuts in.

Luigi: Toriel's this big and tall…goat-thing, and mamamia I was wary. Anything big, tall, and furry around the Mushroom Kingdom is never good news! But she read us a noontime story, and my anxiety only rose but..at least shes trying?

Back to the reading, and she's still going.

"Once upon a time, two races ruled over Earth: Humans and Monsters. One day, war broke out between them. After a long battle, the humans were victorious. They sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell. The humans' fear of monsters was based mainly on the monsters' ability to absorb human SOULs. Trapped underground, the monsters explored their new environment and slowly set up a society there."

Bandana Dee: My people are in danger all the time, but hearing what they went through is..sad. We usually have someone like Kirby or King Dedede saving the day but they didn't have that..she's so resilient getting through all that.

"Here's a passage written by a monster.." she notes. "Trapped behind the barrier and fearful of further human attacks, we retreated. Far, far into the earth we walked, until we reached the cavern's end. This was our new home, which we named... 'Home.' As great as our king is, he is pretty lousy at names." she reads.

That last line gets a chuckle out of Dee. "Reminds me of someone I know…" Luigi comments.

Cut to a Toriel confessional, where she has that book in hand.

Toriel: I love when curious minds want to know about my world. It was a pleasure to educate those two, even though the history is dark.

While it'd be nice to stick through the whole thing, other tribes needed screen time too.

Roku: Day 2

Speaking of annoyances, someone on Roku may have to report one.

Monty and Claptrap are holding two bamboo together to improve on the shelter they made beforehand. Ones a hard worker, and the other…well…

"When can we do something else?" The bot asks, and Monty plays it cool. "We just started. If we work for a couple more hours, then—"

"TWO more?"

"Do you want a shelter or not?" the mole asks, sighing as he gets back to work. He doesn't even look at the Clapper, but he's not backing down.

"You're always work work work work work…"

"You gotta work to get what you want."

Claptrap: Work work work workwork. Why can't he do anything else? This isn't a game about hard work!

Monty: Lemme tell ya that bot's getting on my nerves. He doesn't get that EVERYONE builds a shelter these days! He's all about "game game game game game."

Turnabouts fair play.

The mole takes his issues to Matt, who's stocking up on firewood. The Mii is hearing all about the different mentalities of these two.

"He's the laziest camper here. If he can't hold up his end in challenges, I'm throwing his name under the bus to everyone." Bold move from the mole making an enemy this early.

"You sure you want to do that this early?"

"I don't care how early it is. I don't like him."

Matt blinks twice. Two days in, and there's already some tension on the Roku beach. He was in a good spot but that didn't mean camp morale would be high all the time.

"Next time we lose I'm with you."

"Thanks Matt."

Matt: Clap and Monty have two different styles: One is all about the strategy, phones in the shelter, targets all the moles in Fiji. The other takes from the Old School playbook. He's about the shelter, he's about the loyalty, these kids need to get off his lawn.

Footage of Monty talking to Matt in the background is shown, as his confession continues.

Matt: At the end of the day we gotta pick which style is best.

Toka: Day 2

On the green beach, strategy is already kicking off because…

The Black Dragon are looking for their third member. They pull Tremor aside, the strongest on the tribe, to discuss the possibility with him.

"We have two Dino's on the beach gettin' along. That could be a problem for people like us. If we're smart, we gotta cut them before they cut us." Kano says, glimpsing at the rocky meat tray. "Wouldn't you agree?"

"That's a concern for me too. We are just too different to be making decisions together."

"I woulda said they just need to flip a Koopa over, but you got a point." Kano mentions. Kabal looks around, and puts up a hand so the three come to a stop. While they're in the silence…nothing is heard.

"The hell was that for?"

"Making sure nobody's spying." Kabal says.

The three move forward, occasionally checking corners to make sure nobody pulls a Snake on them.

"So I assume that we are picking the others off?" Tremor asks, and Kano puts a hand on his shoulder. "It's not an assumption anymore."

Tremor: I took the offer not just because of a Dino alliance, but because we think about this trip the same way. If you aren't making an alliance, and ready to pull a fast one, then you've already lost.

Speaking of them, Red and Blu use a large stick to draw out hopscotch in the sand. Might as well get creative if you're living with these people for five weeks.

After they're done, Kristine Koopa comes down to the shore and spots that game. "Mind if I try?"

"Go for it!" the Yoshi's shout, and she heads to the square labeled "0." Not quite sure that's how hopscotch works but they had the spirit.

Footage of her hopscotching plays in the background. She's doing decently.

Kristine: If I want to beat Greg, I have to get along with everyone, say "hi" and play the middle. I'm just trying to find out what the sides are and I've found one!

She uses one foot to hip on the last shape! Red claps for her while Blu gets ready for her turn.

"You're pretty good!"

"Thanks…"

A fourth Toka hits the scene, that being Kabal. It's impossible to talk strategy 24/7, especially this early. "Mind if I join you?" he asks, and the blue Yoshi catches him. "Come here!"

He heads that way, and we actually get to hear from him again.

Kabal: Toka is night and day. One half is the fun side, there's not much strategy there. The other side? Already conspiring against them.

A Kano confessional slides onscreen.

Kano: —We pick off the dinos, take out the Koopa, cut Tremor before the end and then we can't lose.

Speaking of the Black Dragon, the slimmest member pulls Kristine Koopa aside. After slaying the hopscotch competition, Kabal knew what he had to do. As for Kristine, this was her time to learn more about tribe dynamics.

"The dinos seem nice. What do you think of them?" he asks.

"They're Yoshi's."

"..Ok."

"But they're friendly. Whenever we're bored they could come up with a group activity." she guesses. "I don't know think Kano's the bubbly type so he'll just sit out."

"You still have a chance of getting him over Tremor."

She giggles, and the two continue their trek. Eventually, a strategic topic comes up.

"So..do you think the Yoshi are going to make an alliance?" the koopa asks. "Looking like it. Same species, same attitude, it's a match made in heaven." he responds. Red and Blu, while positive forces on the tribe, seemed to make themselves targets just because they got along.

Whether they'd actually align or not, isn't confirmed, but given their talk on the first day: ones probably coming. A barrier for them is Kristine. They'll need her vote and she knows it. However, here she is mingling wife Kabal.

"If they throw your name out for any reason, I'll let you know." he says.

"I'll do the same."

Kabal: We need four for a majority. If Kristine's telling me the truth? We've got it. But I'm not assuming she's with us because she could having these same talks with the Yoshi. So I've got one eye on them, and one eye on her.

Confessionals:

3– Gordon ( + 1), Infinite ( + 2), Matt ( + 1), Kano ( + 1), Kabal ( + 2)

2– Luigi, Bandana Waddle Dee, Toriel, Nelson, Monty Mole, Tremor, Kristine ( +1 ALL), Little Mac

1– Claptrap ( + 1), Sonic, Li Mei, Red, Blu

Ok so targets are already popping up on each tribe. On Fatu, Infinite has taken a dislike to Nelson. On Roku, it's the "work" vs. "play" feud like Matt mentioned. On Toka, while people aren't DIRECTLY targeting eachother yet..we have have a Yoshi Island vs. Black Dragon rivalry on our hands, and it seems Kristine is in the middle.

Beside strategy, it seems that Fatu is getting along peacefully (minus Infinite dragging Nelson), Roku doesn't have much beef, and Toka's getting to the strategy the quickest, all thanks to the Black Dragon.

Final part of this episode is coming out soon. First immunity challenge and Tribal Council of the season.
