Izuku Midoriya wasn't quite sure of what to make of his current situation. Right now he and his mother were staring curiously at the boy currently passed out on their couch. They weren't quite sure what to do, should they call the police? That would be the responsible thing to do, but they didn't know who the boy was, or what his situation was. Call an ambulance? The boy didn't really look all that injured, if anything he looked like he was sleeping somewhat peacefully. As Inko continued fretting about what to do, Izuku only sighed, thinking back to how exactly they got into this mess.

Izuku Midoriya was currently sitting at his desk revising a plan. As for what plan it was, it was All Might's American Dream Plan of course! He still couldn't believe he was being trained by All Might of people, and to inherit his quirk no less! He needed to gain some muscle mass first so he could avoid having his limbs blown off, so he made sure to stick closely to the plan. Although he was maybe veering away from it right now.

Okay, he was veering a lot from it. According to the plan he should've been asleep by now, but instead he's not only awake but also making revisions to the plan. Izuku winced thinking about how All Might would not exactly approve of what he was doing but could he blame him? He wanted to make his idol proud, and working even harder was just the way to do that. And that's without mentioning that he's been quirkless for his entire life and this was finally his chance to experience what it was like to have a quirk and have a proper chance of fulfilling his dreams.

"Okay, no more thinking like that." Izuku said with a shake of his head and went back to his task at hand. What was the human limit when it came to multitasking again? Izuku's musings were interrupted when a bright flash suddenly lit up the night sky startling him. He whipped his head to his window. That flash was extremely close! Was it a villain attack?! Should he wake up his mom and warn her?

Izuku stuck his head outside his window to survey the situation but found himself gapping as a glowing figure fell past him into the alley. Izuku stared at where the glow was quickly fading and replaced by darkness. Izuku tried to make out what it was but it was too dark, but judging from the silhouette they seemed to be a person, a young one at that. And they weren't moving. Were they hurt? The moment this thought passed through his mind, Izuku was already grabbing a hoodie and running out the door. If they were hurt he had to help them!

A few minutes later he was in the alley looking around for that person but was having no luck. He could've sworn he'd seen someone fall out of the sky into this place, unless it wasn't real and was instead the work of some villain with an illusion quirk and he was currently walking into their tra- wait nevermind, there they are. Izuku quickly ran over and crouched down to get a closer look at the mystery person. It was possibly a boy around his age, and looked to be a foreigner. He quickly checked their pulse, and was relieved to feel one. He wasn't dead at least, and Izuku didn't exactly know what he'd do if he had stumbled onto a dead body.

Izuku stood back up as he began to question what exactly he should do now. He looked back down at the unconscious boy, specifically the trash they had conveniently landed in. "It probably isn't the healthiest to leave him there longer than he needs to…" Izuku mumbled as he began to approach the boy. With surprisingly little effort they had been hoisted onto Izuku's back, whether it was because they were surprisingly light or All Might's strength training was already paying off, Izuku didn't question it as he set off away from the alley back towards his apartment.

A few moments later Izuku was entering his home still wondering what exactly he had stumbled upon, only to suddenly be crushed in a desperate hug.

"Izuku! I was so worried! I woke up and saw you weren't in the house, and I thought something terrible happened to you! I was about to call the police and-" Inko Midoriya tearfully continued expressing her worry while Izuku was quickly growing more blue in the face.

"Mom, stop! You're starting to crush me!" Izuku squeaked out hurriedly. Inko quickly removed herself from her son who took a few deep breaths, despite her small stature his mother could be surprisingly strong! "Sorry I left mom but something happened and I think we have bigger things to worry about." His mother was about to question what was so important when Izuku walked further inward. Her eyes widened at the person currently slung across her son's back.

"So mom, what do you suppose we do?" Izuku turned towards his mother who now appeared to have decided on something.

"Well there's nothing we can reliably do for now," she answered. "We have to wait until he wakes up, and see just what his story is before we do anything". Izuku didn't feel completely satisfied with that answer but his mother was right there really was nothing they could do but wait. His mother briefly left to go grab a blanket for their surprise guest while he remained there thinking to himself.

"Maybe I should call All Might in the morning and see what he has to say about all of this." Izuku mused quietly as his mother came back with a spare blanket and draped it comfortably over the boy, who immediately snuggled into it. The Midoriyas developed amused expressions as they turned off the lights and left the room to give the boy some peace and rest. They walked quietly down the hallway to their own rooms when Inko paused for a moment before turning to her son.

"Dear?" She began. "Why were you up so late in the first place, I thought you went to sleep a couple hours ago?" Izuku tensed up, gaining a sheepish look and quickly tried to come up with some sort of response. Inko gave him an appraising look as he stumbled through some sort of explanation before sighing. "No matter, you're getting older, you're responsible enough to be able to handle your own sleep schedule, just don't stay up too late okay? You still have school tomorrow". Izuku had the decency to look a bit embarrassed. He knew he probably wouldn't be getting the most rest in the coming days but it'll be worth it all in the end! On that note the two Midoriyas shared a hug and bid each other a good night. They went to bed with the possibilities of the morning on their minds, who knew what it could bring.

Hikaru slowly got up, and yawned. He looked around as he blinked the sleep out of his eyes. His mind became clearer as he registered that he was wrapped up in a blanket on someone's couch in an unfamiliar living room. All in all he was in an unknown place, with little idea of how he got there. So naturally he said the thing that most people would say in this situation.

"Where the fuck am I?"
