The Duchy Of Eternia Plays Among Us 3

Summary: It's round three, and it's time for a new set of Impostors to try winning the Duchy of Eternia's game of Among Us. Will the Crewmates expose the Impostors, or will the Impostors win this time around!?

"Where!?"

"Someone defaced all the mirrors in the bathrooms!" Alternis called, and a collective gasp came from many of the other Jobmasters.

"Is anyone sus?" Heinkel asked, just before Ominas Crowe let out a yelp.

"P-Praline's already out, too!"

"WHAT!?" The entire group scanned the room – there was no sign of the dramatic, bunny-ear-wearing Performer in sight.

"So, someone defaced the mirrors AND took out Praline? Right at the beginning!?" Barbarossa's jaw dropped. "Aye, these Impostors are getting better at their jobs!"

"We don't have enough evidence to throw out anyone." Alternis sighed. "I hate to say this, but I think we should skip."

"Skip!" Everyone else agreed, raising a hand.

Nobutsuna Kamiizumi found himself alone in the training hall, sorting the (newly-bought) training weapons. "Hopefully no one breaks these again," He murmured, checking the materials – they were fairly good quality, and it could be expensive to replace them after all.

He heard a vent open, and he turned to see who it was, raising a brow. "Impostor?"

Fiore DeRosa smiled and waved back at him. "Impostor~!"

Kamiizumi found himself shoved out of the building, and he turned to face DeRosa, unable to conceal a grin. "You know, you did well with sneaking up on me while I was alone. You're getting better at this."

"What I'm getting better at is remembering the building's floorplans. Same strategy you used back when you were the Impostor." DeRosa chuckled, before tilting his head to the side. "So…how about we finish what we started?"

Kamiizumi blinked. "We haven't finished it?"

DeRosa grabbed Kamiizumi by the front of his robes and pulled him in for a firm, but brief kiss on the lips. The Swordmaster felt his face flush warmly, and he noticed DeRosa chuckle as he pulled his head back after.

"Now we have. And there's more of that after this game, if you're interested." He murmured, before waving at him. "See you later, Kamiizumi~"

"Wait!"

Too late. Door slammed closed. A soft groan left Kamiizumi before he heard someone speak up.

"Oh. My. Crystals."

Kamiizumi turned to see Praline, her eyes widening to the size of dinner plates. "Praline," The Swordmaster started, trying to stop his own face from warming, "I can explain…!"

"OH MY CRYSTALS WERE YOU TWO DATING!? HOW LONG!?"

"I feel bad about doing this."

A groan left DeRosa as he looked Alternis in the eye. Both had met up in the vents shortly after throwing out Kamiizumi. "All you did was deface mirrors, Alternis! Mirrors can be easily cleaned!"

"If we lose," Alternis warned him, "we'll have to pay for repairs."

"Only if we lose." A chuckle left the Red Mage. "Do you know who our third Impostor is?"

"No. I haven't run into them yet."

"Neither have I." A sigh left the Red Mage at that. "Oh well. Anyway, I think we should get back to what we were doing, correct?"

"Before that – " Alternis paused, then burst out, "You and Kamiizumi – are you two…?"

"Oh, that." DeRosa leaned against one of the walls, shrugging, "Only if he's interested. Though," He laughed, "I think he is~"

"If it works out, congrats. Let's go." Alternis moved to get out of the vents –

Just in time for Barbarossa, Victor, Braev, and Artemia to see him pop out of them. Alternis stared back at them, before a sigh left him.

"…Dang it."

Alternis was thrown out, and everyone else checked Alternis' stats.

"Alternis…was…AN IMPOSTOR!"

The others cheered, right before Kikyo was heard gasping.

"SomeonetookoutKamiizumiearlier!"

A collective gasp left the group as they scanned the room – Kamiizumi was gone, indeed!

"At least he's not the Impostor this time." Heinkel sighed, before looking between everyone else. "Is anyone else sus?"

"I thought I overheard Alternis talking to someone in the vents, but their voices were muffled so we couldn't hear much." Victor managed, frowning. "Alright, where was everyone else?"

"I just finished my task watering plants." Khint managed.

"I was in Electrical working on connecting wires together." Einheria stated.

DeRosa shrugged. "I was polishing mirrors in the bathroom."

"I was cleaning ze toilets." Profiteur sulked.

Khint looked toward Profiteur, frowning. "…I'm very sorry for you."

"Barras," Holly asked, looking toward Barras, "Where were you? I didn't see you at all earlier…?"

"I was in the security room, trying to find the Impostor on cams!" Barras pointed out.

Heinkel nodded. "I was with him trying to do the same thing, so I can vouch for him."

"Should we just skip?" Victoria asked, groaning. "We're not getting anywhere with this!"

"Hey, figuring out where everyone else is is important." Jackal pointed out, before his eyes narrowed. "Unless…YOU'RE THE IMPOSTOR!"

"What!?" Victoria gasped as Jackal pointed at her, "I am NOT!'

"I don't know about that." DeRosso pointed out. "That reaction's fairly sus, and Jackal has a point given how you behaved last time."

Everyone immediately pointed at Victoria, who sulked. "COME ON!"

Victoria was tossed out of the building, and Kamiizumi looked toward Victoria. "Impostor, or voted out?"

"Voted." A whine left the Arcanist at the statement. "It's so not fair!"

"At least you weren't disposed of before the first meeting!" Praline hissed back, shaking her head.

Alternis sighed as he noticed both Praline and Victoria glaring at each other. "Please, you two, settle down…"

"At least you don't have to deal with a surprise kiss after being thrown out." Kamiizumi stated, and Victoria and Alternis stared at him before both let out their own exclamations.

"Wait..WHAT!?"

Kamiizumi buried his face in a hand. "Crystals, I shouldn't have mentioned that…!"

Ominas read the results.

"V-Victoria…was…NOT TH-THE IMPOSTOR!"

Groans and sighs left the rest of the group.

"She really needs to work on acting more innocent." Victor sighed, before looking toward the others. "Since that didn't work out, I say that we all skip for now. Let's get our tasks done as fast as we can."

"Skip!" The others agreed, before they all got back to work.

Khamer sighed as he looked around, before finishing pulling leaves out of the vent. "Why do I have to be the one pulling leaves out of vents!? Where did the leaves even come from?"

This was the third vent now! Surely there had to be better things to do than this, right? Khamer checked his list of tasks – apparently there was one more vent somewhere to get leaves out of…

Yulyana chuckled as he finished emptying out the trash. "The Impostor did it, I suppose. Why else would we have to do these tasks to begin with?"

There was the sound of a vent moving, but both turned to see it and - it had already closed.

"Should we report it?" Khamer frowned.

"Maybe they'll just come out of the vent again. Give it a moment." Yulyana mused.

They both proceeded to watch the vent, anticipating it opening…

Just before they heard someone else speak up.

"Hey, Khamer? Yulyana? What are you two doing?"

The two turned to see Holly and Heinkel staring at them. Yulyana smiled, waving at them.

"Oh, we're just watching this vent in case an Impostor comes out!"

"You've been staring at it for five minutes." Heinkel pointed out, raising a brow. "That's fairly suspicious."

Khamer's jaws dropped. "What!? We're not Impostors, though! You have to believe us!"

Khamer and Yulyana were kicked out of the building as Holly called the results.

"Khamer…and Yulyana…were NOT the Impostors!"

A groan left everyone else in the meeting room as Heinkel scratched the back of his head.

"I know it looks bad, but those two were acting really suspicious just staring at the vent for so long…"

"How many of us are left?" Barbarossa asked, looking around. Himself, Braev, Kikyo, Heinkel, Holly, DeRosso, Victor, Jackal, Einheria, DeRosa, Mephilia, Artemia…

Wait.

Wait.

A gasp left the Pirate as he pointed around. "Someone took out Ominas!"

Another collective gasp left the group before Kikyo looked toward Braev.

"Ihaven'tseenyouatall. Wherewereyou?"

"I was cleaning the windows in the main hall." Braev stated, and DeRosa raised a brow.

"Were you? Because I didn't see you when I was passing through."

"I was!"

"Was anyone with you?" DeRosso asked.

Braev's face sunk as several other Asterisk Bearers already started pointing fingers at him. "I was…on my own…"

Braev was kicked out of the building, and Ominas was scowling.

"Y-You did that on your o-o-own!?"

"Everyone else already buddied up with each other!" Braev pointed out, just before Khamer spoke up.

"Hey, does anyone know who the other two Impostors are?"

"I know who one of them is, but I got taken out so early so I have no idea who the last one is." Kamiizumi admitted.

Praline scowled. "Oh, I think I know who the last one is."

"You do!?" Victoria turned to see her, eyes widening. "How!?"

The Diva glared daggers at her, crossing her arms. "Because they're the one that took me out earlier! That's why!"

"Braev…was…not the Impostor!"

A groan left everyone else remaining.

"Does anyone know of anything else that's sus!?" DeRosso called.

No answer. A sigh left the Vampire before he facepalmed himself.

"So much for that…"

The rest of the group agreed to continue their tasks as usual, since no one else had acted sus yet.

"I can't believe you almost got caught!"

DeRosa flinched as he looked toward Einheria in the vents. "Hey! In my defense, I didn't know that Khamer was also there! I thought Yulyana was alone!"

"Let me handle this one," Einheria sighed, before moving out of the vents – just in time to see Kikyo's eyes widen, dropping the leaves she just took out of a nearby vent.

"Y-you..!"

Kikyo was kicked out of the building. A few "oofs," and other grimaces left the others outside when they noticed Kikyo land on her face, just as the door closed behind her.

"Impostor got you?" Yulyana asked.

"Yesshedid." Kikyo sat up, just before Victoria raised a brow.

"Wait, she? That narrows down who the last Impostor is, but…"

"Oh no." Kamiizumi swallowed as he looked toward Praline. "I think I know who the last Impostor is now."

Praline nodded, looking up at him. "I knew that you'd figure it out. Swordmaster..."

Mephilia and Victor walked into the Electrical, looking around.

"Where's the scanner?" Mephilia asked.

"I think you're in the wrong room." Victor managed, looking toward her. "Scanners are in the labs."

"Dang it! I'll be back!" Mephilia rushed off, and Victor sighed, turning – just in time to see DeRosa emerge from a vent.

"Shoot…!"

With that, Victor was kicked out of the building, landing on the ground as the door slammed shut behind him.

"Which Impostor was it?" Praline asked, just before Victor groaned.

"Curse you, DeRosa…!"

Mephilia was trying to find the labs, but she was honestly lost. A curse left her as she glanced around, just before she heard Barbarossa speak up.

"Mephilia? What are you doing!?"

"I'm lost!" A whine left the Summoner as she looked toward Barbarossa. "I'm trying to find the labs to do my last task, but I have no idea where it is!"

"It's fine, because I'm lost too!"

"What!?"

Before either of them could say anything else, a loud emergency beep rang through the area.

Everyone remaining reunited in the meeting room, where Jackal slammed one hand on the table and pointed the other at Einheria.

"IT'S FRILLS!" Jackal yelled, red-faced. "FRILLS IS THE IMPOSTOR! She was trying to chase me down and throw me out, so I ran all the way here and called this meeting!"

Artemia stared at Jackal, before asking, "Who's Frills?"

Jackal facepalmed himself. "Einheria." He muttered, and Barbarossa gasped as he looked toward Einheria, before pointing his voting finger at her.

"YOU!"

"I'm not the Impostor!" Einheria tried to protest. "Jackal was the one chasing me, not the other way around!"

"I did notice you two running around from the corner of my eye." DeRosso stated, frowning, before pointing at Einheria. "Jackal, don't make me regret this decision!"

Einheria then noticed the Red Mage DeRosa pointing at her from the corner of her eye. "You-!"

"Sucks to be you." DeRosa taunted, just before Einheria smiled.

"Fine, I'm the Impostor. But DeRosa's the other one remaining!"

A gasp left DeRosa, jaw dropping as the others turned toward him and gasped. "WHAT!?"

Both Einheria and DeRosa were kicked out of the building.

"Did you really have to do that!?" DeRosa snapped, just as the others overheard Jackal calling from inside.

"Alright! DeRosa…and EinheriaARE BOTH IMPOSTORS!"

A loud cheer came from the other crewmates outside.

"We win!" Jackal called, sticking his head outside the main doors. "All the crewmates can come in!"

All the crewmates all started rushing in, but Kamiizumi paused, looking toward DeRosa.

"Good game." The Swordmaster managed, a smile playing on his face.

A sigh left DeRosa. "Go join your other crewmates. I bet they're waiting for you."

"Oh, I will. But first, as revenge for earlier…" He leaned in and gave DeRosa a kiss on the cheek. The Red Mage's face flushed, and a chuckle left Kamiizumi as he pulled his head back to face him properly. "We'll need to talk more later. While I was stuck outside, everyone else that joined me already started assuming that we're dating."

Before DeRosa could say anything, Kamiizumi had already went indoors.

"Wait, what!?" Einheria burst after a moment, looking between DeRosa and the now-shut door. "What do you mean, you two are dating!?"

"W-well…" DeRosa started, but that was when he heard Alternis sigh.

"I never thought I'd see one Impostor backstab the other on their last moments." The Dark Knight noted, and DeRosa's nose wrinkled at the comment.

"Well, they did." DeRosa huffed, putting a hand to his own cheek where Kamiizumi kissed before chuckling. "Well, I suppose my loss isn't that bad, given that I got two kisses from Kamiizumi out of it."

Einheria's gaze snapped toward DeRosa. "What do you mean, TWO!? That one just now wasn't the first one!?"

"So, Kamiizumi," Braev gave the Swordmaster a small look after noticing Einheria, DeRosa, and Alternis arguing with each other outside through the window, "Are you going to explain what exactly is going on between you and DeRosa?"

"That's something we need to figure out first before we go around telling all of you." Kamiizumi smoothly stated, before Praline sighed.

"I propose a new rule: No one throws anyone out before the first meeting!"

"We have a lot of people playing, though, and people being eliminated early adds to the tension of it all." Victor pointed out.

"I say," Victoria spoke up, "that no one should throw out anyone peeking through the security room cams and so on!"

"No!" Several others called out, and Braev simply sighed. Perhaps they needed to add a few rules to future games, perhaps not – but either way, there was no reason to end these activities too soon…
