(ONE SHOT)
...
"I call dibs on these kittens! I'll groom them myself!" Little did anybody know that Ryuko Tsuchikawa wasn't joking. The pro hero known as Pixie-Bob was dead serious. She was at that age where it was time for her to take a mate and UA's joint training camp gave her the perfect opportunity to scout four very enticing prospects.
Tenya Iida, Shoto Todoroki, Katsuki Bakugo, and Izuku Midoriya were the lucky ones who caught her attention, and she zeroed in on them like a heat-seeking missile.
Iida was strong and fast and came from a very respected family. His goal was to one day become a great hero like his elder brother before him and one day take his name when he felt he was worthy enough to claim it. He was definitely good mate material, but he could be just a tad bit too rigid at times. Almost like a machine.
Todoroki was also very similar. Like Iida he too came from a respected family and was the son of the number two pro hero Endeavor. While the man himself was a supreme douche, his son didn't seem to inherit that trait. He was dedicated and wanted to become stronger for his friends, if only he wasn't so bland.
Bakugo was a far cry from bland. The ashy-haired blonde was loud, arrogant, and proud. He was like a character ripped straight from the pages of a manga and brought to life. He was powerful sure, but his personality left a lot to be desired. If he could keep his anger in check, he would make a fine mate for anyone to have.
Then there was the emerald child, Izuku Midoriya. He was a hero otaku through and through. He was also the first person to recognize her and Mandalay when they first stepped out of the van... even if he did unintentionally call her old. So what if she was thirty-one! She was still eighteen at heart damn it!
He proved to be the most interesting of the bunch. He was dedicated, driven, smart, and above all else kind. He wasn't even mad at Kota after he punched him in the testicles unprovoked. The kid really did have a heart of gold. Plus, he was just so darn cute with that mop of emerald, green hair and those diamond shaped freckles.
She had to have him. Little did she know at the time that the young hero student already had a huge crush on her. Out of all four members of the Wild Wild Pussycats, she was his favorite. Her quirk earthflow was amazing, and the way she used it to shift the earth beneath her was crazy. Add to that she was really pretty.
Her long blonde hair and deep blue eyes really stood out to him in the same way Pony Tsunotori's from class 1b did. Her aesthetic was unique and eye catching, and her body wasn't bad either. It was a perfect example of beauty and hard work. She was slender with just enough muscle to not take away from her overall sex appeal.
"You'll be working we me today, alright." She winked at him. From what Aizawa had told her his quirk was very unique and broke his bones when pushed too far. He needed training dummies who weren't alive that would allow him to experiment, and her quirk could definitely help provide him with that.
"O-Ok." He managed stutter out. He was nervous to be all alone with his crush but nevertheless went with her to a clearing in the woods to work. He was a lot more comfortable when the actual training started, and he began to experiment with the earth monsters the blonde member of the Pussycats made.
This also gave Ryuko a chance to watch her potential mate in action. The way he moved, the way he ran and jumped. The way green lightening seemed to trickle off of him when he powered up. It was like watching a bouncy ball of destruction or Blanka from Street Fighter. She began to feel a little hot under the collar.
They eventually moved onto one-on-one sparring and that's where things really started to get heated between the two of them. She wasn't going all out of course, but she did put in just enough effort to start working up a sweat. Izuku was very much the same in a sense and was also starting to work up a good sweat.
More than that the two of them were just having fun. There were no villains attacking, no news media sticking cameras in their faces, no civilians in need of rescue, no everyday stress. For a few minutes they could just let go and have a good time. A good time that ended with Midoriya taking down her re-enforced mud monster.
The two were left sweating and panting, staring at each other with bright hero smiles. Izuku could feel his heart thumping within being in the presence of such a bright smile and Pixie-Bob herself felt the exact same way. Izuku's smile was so warm and inviting that if she wasn't sold on him already, she was all-in now.
The next few days were just like that. The two of them training, talking, laughing, growing ever closer. It was only a matter of time until one of them finally broke. Much to her surprise it was Izuku who accidentally admitted to having a crush on her. One he'd been carrying with him for a very long time.
He turned beat red right after that and combined with his green hair, he looked every bit like a ripe tomato. This earned a small laugh from the pro heroine who was also sporting a small blush of her own. Hearing that the one she chose had a crush on her made her feel ecstatic. Since he told her how he was feeling she thought it was only fair that she did the same.
She revealed to Izuku that she wasn't joking that day about making a claim on him and his friends. She meant every word and the one she was interested in was him. Hearing that nearly made his heart stop. His crush, a pro hero, had a crush on him?! He had to pinch himself to make sure he wasn't dreaming and the pain he felt told him that he was wide awake.
Pixie-Bob had a crush on Izuku Midoriya, and Ryuko Tsuchikawa in turn had a crush on Deku. Both of them were blushing like mad now as the realization began to fully set in. They both liked each other and wanted to give each other a chance. It would no doubt be dicey, but consequences be damned they wanted to try.
They were alone now so... the two stood in front of each other just noses apart. They smelt of dirt and sweat from training but inhaled deeply. Izuku was so nervous he could hear his heartbeat in his ears and Ryuko was eager, though a part of her was also just as nervous. It had been too long since she shared a kiss with anyone.
The pair threw caution to the wind, leaned in close, and pressed their lips together. The contact barely lasted a full minute before they broke apart and when they did, they were just left staring. Ryuko freed a hand from her gloves and touched her lips. They were itchy but in way she found to be very pleasant. Izuku's brain had momentarily crashed and needed to be rebooted.
Once they regained their bearings, they were certain of one thing, they wanted to do this again. So they did, breaking from their training session to make out against a tree. This was the official start of the next symbol of peace, and the Wild Wild Pussycat.
Time passed, villains came and went, war came and went, and at the end of it all the two of them remained. Their love was still strong, and it saw them through the darkest of times. Life was short and as much as they'd like to believe tomorrow was not guaranteed. The war was over and there was only one thing left to do.
They revealed their relationship to the world by announcing their engagement. The only people who weren't surprised were their closest confidants and they weren't going to wait to get married either. The ceremony was held on the roof of UA with all their closest friends present. Both Izuku and Ryuko were dressed in their hero wear and were officially married under the early morning sun.
There were cries, cheers, and more than a few pictures taken. Ryuko Tsuchikawa was now known as Ryuko Tsuchikawa Midoriya and the two disappeared into the sky as Izuku floated them away. What followed were the best years of their lives which culminated in the most amazing way... Katsuragi Midoriya was born.
She was a blonde just like her mom and had green eyes just like her father. The ultimate symbol of their love. Their legacy, their treasure. Just like them as she grew older, she too wanted to become a hero and her parents did everything in their power to help her achieve her dreams. She trained, she learned, she attended UA, and eventually graduated tops of her class.
Izuku and Pixie-Bob had long since retired at that point but smiled whenever they saw their baby girl on screen taking down major criminals with her own earthflow quirk that she inherited from her mom. The pro hero Matatabi had certainly become a big deal, her and that new up incomer Bakusatsuo.
As Izuku rested his head in his beautiful wife's lap as they watched the news he couldn't help but smile. Never in his wildest dreams did he think he would be in such a great place. A nice home, a gorgeous wife, a wonderful family, the former number one hero. Life was good and so very kind.
"I love you." He said to his wife. Ryuko smiled back to her husband now looking like a more mature beauty than when they first met.
"I love you more."
"Not possible." He teased.
"Want me to prove it." She lightly challenged.
"Maybe..." Izuku found himself sitting before Ryuko captured his lips.
The two sat there for a moment, savoring the kiss before breaking away. "I love you more."
"You love me more." Izuku parroted. He couldn't argue after that.
Ryuko googled before standing up and taking a stretch, giving Izuku a front row view of her generous rump. "That's what I thought."
She headed off to the kitchen leaving the green-haired man frozen in place. Yeah, life had been very kind indeed.
Almost too kind.
