Roronoa Arashi, the renowned swordsman and descendant of the Sword-God stood at the edge of the cliff, his long black coat flapping in the wind. He had been on a mission to find the fabled treasure of the Golden City, but it had led him here, to this desolate island.
As he stood there, he heard a faint sound behind him. He quickly unsheathed his swords and turned around, only to see Dracule Mihawk, a upcoming New-World swordsman, standing there.
Mihawk raised his swords, ready to face Arashi. He knew this would be a tough battle, but he had come too far to back down now.
Arashi didn't move. He simply stared at Mihawk with his cold, piercing eye.
"Why are you here?" Arashi asked, keeping his guard up.
"I was passing by and I sensed your presence," Mihawk arrogantly replied. "I came to see if you were worthy of facing me."
Arashi smirked. "You're looking for a fight? I'll give you one."
The two swordsmen clashed, their swords ringing out as they exchanged blows. Arashi's supreme grade blades clashed against Mihawk's legendary sword, Yoru, and Arashi proved to be the superior swordsman .
Mihawk knew he was outmatched, but he refused to give up. He continued to fight, his determination and willpower driving him forward.
As the battle raged on, Mihawk began to notice something strange. Arashi wasn't fighting at his full strength. It was as if he was holding back.
"Why aren't you using your full power?" Mihawk asked, panting heavily.
Arashi looked at him with a hint of admiration. "You have potential, Mihawk. You remind me of a young man I once knew."
Mihawk didn't have time to ponder on Arashi's words. He charged forward, his swords blazing with energy.
The two swordsmen clashed once again, their swords striking with incredible force. But this time, Mihawk managed to land a blow on Arashi, causing him to stagger backwards.
Arashi smiled. "You've improved since we last met. But you still have a long way to go."
With that, Arashi sheathed his sword and walked away.
Mihawk watched him go, feeling a sense of dissatisfaction . He knew that he had not even come close to defeating the world's strongest swordsman, and that was unacceptable.
Lightning arced through the skies, and dark thoughts similarly arced through Mihawk's mind
Look at him, vulnerable, one slash with Yoru and I could end him.
Dashing faster than his observation haki could pick up, he swung at the Bushido in a manner that was unbefitting of a swordsman.
2 swords and one body fell to the ground.
Arashi's haki was overpowered by a technique, Observation-killer, developed by Rocks D Shanks, a up-and-coming pirate. Mihawk employed this power, his greed overpowering his creed as a swordsman.
Decades later, the piercing eyes of Dracule Mihawk would meet those that matched his greatest rival, a similar storm brewing in the sky, as Hawk-eye met the future King of Hell.
