This was going to be her first time. She was too tight and too new to the different sensations he was introducing to her. He laid her down and kissed her some more. Before laying down himself, he discarded the rest of his clothing.
By this time, Hermione was writhing around, moaning loudly. She tried to tell herself she was just faking it. But she knew the truth: he was giving her real pleasure. She tried to keep in mind that she wasn't supposed to be the one who fell in love here. It was supposed to be him. Her body had other ideas. It wanted the man giving it such pleasure and it wanted him now! She found herself reaching up, grabbing his hair and pulling him down on her. He smiled against her lips as he angled in for another deep kiss.
He smoothed a hand down her side as he eased her knees apart. He twisted over her and settled between them. He took a deep breath as he pushed gently into her. 'Gods! Please let him do this right! He didn't want to hurt or scare her away from him!' He found that the playing he'd done had helped her stretch some. He was able to push in most of the way. Then her passage narrowed, and he froze. This was the do or die moment. He could ease on in, taking the chance of causing too much pressure on her or he could take one quick shove and have it over with in an instant. Feeling her already starting to tense, he decided to quickly get it over with. He pressed her legs to both sides of his waist, firmly grasped her hips and buried himself to the hilt.
One gasp was all she allowed to escape her. He looked down at the tears welling up and overflowing. He kissed them away. "I'm sorry, Granger. I tried to be easy. There's almost no way to avoid any pain the first time."
She gave him a twisted smile. 'If only he knew why she was really crying! It wasn't because of the brief pain. It was because she knew there was little to no chance of ever seeing her home or friends again. Now that he'd taken her, he wouldn't let her go. It also meant never being able to see if she could have recovered her parents' memories. No Harry, Ron, Ginny or her parents. That was why she was crying.'
Wordlessly, she reached up and pulled him back down to her. She HAD to keep her heart hardened. Else she would be head over heels in love with him! She planted her heels on the bed and shoved up to him, hip to hip. He took the hint and set a slow steady pace that wouldn't hurt her too much. They seemed to take turns gasping and crying out. "Say my name, Princess. Say it!" he demanded through gritted teeth.
"Rowle!" She cried out. Instantly, he stopped and shook his head. Placing his hands on either side of her face, he looked her in the eyes.
"My name is Thorfinn. Say it, Hermione! Say. It." he ordered. Her eyes were wide at his use of her name.
"Thorfinn." she said it hesitantly. He smiled and she said it again stronger. "Thorfinn."
"Good girl." he tenderly kissed her. "Good girl, Hermione. Thank you." He picked his pace again and pretty soon they were both screaming and falling over the edge.
After they had rested a few minutes, Thorfinn held his hand out and a box flew off the bedside table into his fingers. Hermione watched curiously as he opened it, taking out a ring. When he looked at her, reaching for her hand, she realized what kind of ring it was.
She jerked back. "No! No, no, no! I'm not getting married to you! I told you! I'm already promised!"
He held her down as he put the ring on her finger. He was hoping and praying that she was lying but it would depend on the ring. They watched breathlessly as the ring changed to a deep green, then went red and yellow. It ended as a deep gold. "Well, well. Look at that, sweetheart. The ring says you're lying. Don't bother trying to take it off. Once it's on the finger of the girl I intend to marry, it shrinks to fit and turns unbreakable. No escaping me now, darling." He chuckled as she gritted her teeth angrily.
