Chapter 1: Unexpected Arrival
Harry Potter was walking down a dark alley, lost in his own thoughts, when a sudden bright light blinded him. He stumbled, his wand clattering to the ground, and when he opened his eyes again, he found himself in a strange place.
The first thing Harry noticed was the cold. He shivered, looking around and trying to make sense of his surroundings. He was in a deserted street, surrounded by tall buildings that towered over him like giants. There was no one around, and the streets were empty.
It was only when Harry looked up at the sky that he realized something was terribly wrong. The sky was dark and smoky, the air thick with a strange haze that made it difficult to breathe. Harry coughed, covering his nose and mouth with his sleeve.
He started walking, trying to find his way out of this strange place. The buildings loomed over him, casting long shadows that seemed to follow him like ghosts. The silence was eerie, broken only by the sound of his own footsteps.
As he turned a corner, Harry heard a faint sound in the distance. It was a low rumble, like the sound of distant thunder. He followed the sound, and soon he saw a group of people gathered around a fire.
Harry cautiously approached the group, his wand at the ready. The people were dressed in strange clothes, wearing masks and carrying guns. They looked at him suspiciously as he approached, but did not raise their weapons.
One of the people stepped forward, a woman with short blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. "Who are you?" she demanded.
"My name is Harry Potter," he said. "I'm lost. Can you tell me where I am?"
The woman looked him up and down, sizing him up. "You're in New York," she said. "And you're not from around here, are you?"
"No," Harry admitted. "I'm from England. How did I get here?"
The woman shrugged. "We don't know," she said. "We've been seeing strange things lately. People just appearing out of nowhere, like they've been dropped here from another dimension or something."
Harry was stunned. Another dimension? Was that even possible? "What's going on here?" he asked.
The woman sighed. "It's a long story," she said. "But I can tell you this much. This is a city in chaos. The world has been hit by a pandemic, and things have gone to hell. The government has collapsed, and the streets are ruled by gangs and criminals. We're the ones trying to keep order and help people survive."
Harry looked around, taking in the desolate scene. He felt a sudden sense of purpose, a desire to help in any way he could. "I want to help," he said. "What can I do?"
The woman looked at him, a hint of a smile on her lips. "You're brave," she said. "I can see that. But this is a dangerous place. You'll need to learn how to survive if you want to help us."
"I'm a wizard," Harry said, holding up his wand. "I know how to defend myself."
The woman looked skeptical, but she nodded. "All right," she said. "We could use someone like you. But you'll need to join us and become an agent of The Division." She handed him a small device. "This is a GPS tracker. Follow it to our headquarters, and we'll get you started."
Harry took the device, feeling a sense of excitement mixed with apprehension. He had no idea what he was getting into, but he knew he had to try. He turned and started walking, following the GPS tracker into the unknown.
