Olivia and Fin were in the office of the Assistant District Attorney of the Special Victims Unit Dominic Carisi jr. Carisi was reading the file from Darius's trial.

"I still can't believe that this Darius Parker got acquitted." Said Carisi stunned.

"It's complicated." Said Olivia

"Here's the crazy part he represented himself and won, I was always told that anyone who represents themselves has a fool for a client." Said Carisi

"Yeah, well Darius is no fool." Said Fin

"Okay then maybe Casey Novak wasn't good at her job." Said Carisi

"No, Novak did everything she could." Said Olivia defending her.

"Why do I get the feeling that there's more that you two are not telling me?" Carisi asked.

Olivia and Fin looked at each other before deciding to tell him the rest of the story.

"There was evidence that was left out." said Olivia.

"Like what?" Carisi asked curiously.

"Darius confessed to Ken about the murders." Said Fin

"Why didn't he testify?" Carisi asked.

"Because Ken didn't go to police, he was caught at the burial site." Said Fin

"I see, if this would've gotten out Ken would've been charged as an accessory after the fact." Said Carisi

"I wasn't about sacrifice my son." Said Fin

"There's more to this isn't it? Carisi asked.

"Stabler and I were the lead detectives on the case, months earlier he used his badge to cover for his daughter's DUI." Said Olivia

"Darius found out about it and did damage with it." said Fin.

"Unfortunately hurting the credibility of the case." Said Olivia

"The final nail was when Darius crucified Teresa on the stand making him sympathetic to the jury.

"So, you guys withheld evidence and as a result a double murderer is now free." Said Carisi

"I know Carisi, it wasn't our best moment, but Fin and stabler were protecting their children now I didn't agree with it back then, but now as a mother and Noah was in the same position, I can't say I wouldn't have done the same thing." Said Olivia

"Doesn't matter! Darius was acquitted which means double jeopardy applies and we can't charge him again for the murders.

"Hold up dad to be, one day your kid could put you a position to where you may have to bend the rules." Said Fin losing his temper.

"Let's calm down and figure out what to do about Darius." Olivia suggested.

"Well like I said we can't charge him with the murders again, but I did draw up the protection order and it's signed by a judge. So, if Darius goes anywhere near Ken, Alejandro or the baby you throw him in jail." Said Carisi

"Now we have to find Darius." Said Fin.

"We have, Velasco just texted me. He said he tracked his financials and he's staying at a hotel uptown

Moments later they arrive at the hotel, they go up to Darius's room and knock on the door. Darius opens it and greet them.

"Fin and Detective Benson I knew Ya'll would show up." He spoke,

"it's Captain and Sergeant now." Said Olivia

"What? They promoted you after the bullshit Ya'll tried to do me," said Darius.

"Your attempt to take us down failed." Said Olivia

"And yet I'm free." Said Darius

"That's why we're here to serve you with this protective order. So next time you decide pay Ken a surprise visit your ass will going to jail." Fin warned.

"Man, you haven't changed a bit Fin, you still a hypocrite. You were a shit father to Ken growing up always choosing the job over him, and when he came out you turned your back on him. You just like that bitch mother of mine." Said Darius

"Yeah well at least I'm not a murderer, and if you hate us so much you can always take your ass back to where you came from." Said Fin

"Man, both of Ya'll get the hell up out of my room!" Darius shouted.

"Remember Darius you have been warned." Fin threatened before he and Olivia walk out.
