Chapter 7
After the briefing, Harry returned to his quarters to prepare for the mission. He went through his gear and checked his weapons, making sure everything was in working order. He also checked his backpack, ensuring he had enough ammunition and supplies for the mission.
As he finished getting ready, Harry couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation. He had been training for weeks, and now he finally had the chance to put his skills to the test.
Harry made his way to the garage, where he met up with the rest of the team. He recognized a few of the other agents from his training, but there were also some new faces.
The team leader, Agent Taylor, gave a quick briefing on the mission. They were to infiltrate a nearby stronghold controlled by a group of rogue agents who had gone rogue and were threatening nearby settlements.
"We've got reports that they've been stockpiling weapons and supplies," Agent Taylor said. "Our mission is to take them out and secure their resources before they can cause any more trouble."
The team loaded up into a convoy of armored vehicles and set off towards the stronghold. As they drove, Harry couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement mixed with fear. He knew that this mission would be dangerous, but he was also eager to prove himself as a capable agent.
When they arrived at the stronghold, the team split up and began to move in on foot. Harry's heart was pounding in his chest as he crept through the rubble and debris towards the enemy compound.
Suddenly, he heard the sound of gunfire ahead. The team had been spotted, and a firefight had broken out.
Harry's training kicked in as he took cover and returned fire. He felt a surge of adrenaline as he aimed and fired his weapon, taking down enemy agents one by one.
The fighting was intense, and Harry could feel his heart racing as he moved from cover to cover, dodging bullets and returning fire. It was like nothing he had ever experienced before, and he knew that he was in real danger.
As the firefight raged on, Harry's team managed to push through to the enemy stronghold. They cleared the compound, taking out the remaining enemy agents and securing their weapons and supplies.
Harry's heart was pounding as the team regrouped outside the stronghold. He was covered in sweat and dirt, but he felt alive.
"Good job, team," Agent Taylor said, clapping Harry on the back. "We did it."
Harry couldn't help but smile as he looked around at his fellow agents. They had worked together to accomplish their mission, and he knew that he had found a new home in this world.
As the team loaded up into the convoy and drove back to The Division headquarters, Harry felt a sense of pride and accomplishment. He had proven himself as a capable agent, and he knew that he was ready for whatever challenges lay ahead.
The world may have been different from the one he was used to, but Harry knew that he had found a new purpose in this world. And he was ready to face whatever dangers and challenges lay ahead as a member of The Division.
