Tawna stretched her arms.

They decided to camp out for a few days. Tawna and Coco had gotten there earlier that day. Coco asked Crash if he wanted to come with them, but he decided to stay behind so it was just them two. They made sure that they packed everything they needed for those few days. When they got there, Tawna set up the tents while Coco went to grab some wood. She finished getting the tents up faster than she expected, but a few minutes later Coco came back with the firewood.

Both thought it would be a good idea to take a break before doing much else. It was a good time to take one considering the sun was about to set. Tawna looked at the lake, then she looked at Coco. It wouldn't hurt to swim for a few minutes. She smiled and put her hands on her hips.

"You wanna go swimming?" She asked.

Coco's ears shot straight up and her eyes slightly widened. She looked at her for a couple seconds before she smiled.

"Sure! I just gotta go change." Coco responded.

"Go ahead."

Coco grabbed her backpack and went to her tent. Tawna faced the lake again; she took her clothes off to reveal the swimsuit she had underneath them. She tossed the clothes onto a nearby rock. She dipped her toes into the water. It felt warm, slightly on the chilly side. She took it out when she heard the tent opening up. Tawna turned around to see Coco getting out the tent. She wore a dark blue swimsuit with a lighter blue hexagon pattern.

Tawna softly sighed. "You look adorable."

"And you look amazing!" Coco replied.

She chuckled; she held out her hand. Coco took it and they went into the lake together. Even when they got well into the lake, they didn't let go of each other. Coco threw her arm around Tawna's shoulder. Tawna put her other hand onto Coco's waist. Their foreheads touched and they kept their eyes on each other. She got lost in her bright green eyes.

Everything became darker and darker. Despite the sun being below the horizon, she was still able to see her. It didn't distract either of them from having a good time in the lake. Coco moved closer to her lips. Tawna kissed her. Crickets within the forest sang with the water becoming part of their rhythm. They relaxed as they floated in the water. Tawna wrapped her arms around her.

Coco pulled away and rested her face on her shoulder. Tawna felt her pounding heartbeat against her chest. She could feel how she breathed. She gave Coco a kiss on the head. Their bodies up to their chests were enveloped by the water. When the water touched her dry fur, Tawna felt goosebumps rise up on her arms. Coco didn't seem to be too bothered by it. They would have to get out soon.

Tawna wanted to stay a little longer though.
