I wasn't going to an update today but it is Star Wars day so it felt fitting to write

The Younglings

It had been 8 years since then and Yoda had his work cut out for him. He had never taken care of children before. That job was for the carers on the temple then the teachers of the younglings.

Normally, the boys would stay younglings until they were teenagers but due to Yoda's old age and the boy's progress he had made them padawans: Jedi Younglings ready for training in the field. It was also due to the fact that he will be sending them back to the village when he was finnished training them where they will most likely join the shinobi forces at a young age.

They would be efficient, personal training from Yoda himself will help them. They had grown. The even new how to use lightsabers that Yoda had brought with him incase he needed to train new students.

Naruto was tall. He had bright blue eyes with yellow hair that went to his shoulders. He was efficient in Form 1: Shi-Cho as all padawan should be. However his main form was Form 3: Soresu, a defensive style that was initially designed to block blaster bolts but was useful in lightsaber duals. Also, he was learning Form 4: Ataru because he liked the idea of weilding two light sabers though this would not be perfected for another year or two. He wore traditional Jedi clothes like a brown Jedi robe. His padawan braid in his hair. He was calm and humble like a true jedi. He had a green lightsaber, a symbol of his non violent nature

Sasuke -like naruto- was tall, even slightly taller than him. He had black eyes with black hair that looked like a ducks butt. He was also good in Form 1 but he did not care for a defensive style like Naruto had. Instead he chose Form 5: Shein/Djem-so, an agressive style the boy used well. He also wore traditional Jedi clothes except his were black. He was wild, aggressive and thought himself better than Naruto despite both being equals, Yoda was worried about the boy but remembered another Jedi that was similar who would be a jedi until the end. He had a blue lightsaber a sign of his ability to fight.

The two were like brothers but also opposites. The joked together and also Argued

They were alike and opposites

It was bizzarre, they grew up together, trained together, meditated together.

It was strange but nothing came of it.

Yoda was pleased, these two were his best students yet. Even more suprising when you considered his small amount of training.

And now it was time:

"Lernt well, you have" Yoda said. He was watching naruto practicing his Form 4 stances.

"Thank you Master Yoda" he said. "How is Sasuke, he must be excited to learn Jutsu in the village"

"Excited, he is, but not for jutsu. Learn of his family, he wants to" Yoda explained

"Thats not good. Of course I am excited to meet mine but the Uchiha have been hated ever since the attempted coup d'etat. The only one to not be hated is his brother. I read that he killed most of them before to much harm was done. The hate might push him down a path of darkness" Naruto replied

"Keep him on the right path you will" Yoda said

"Yes Master, we will Miss you" he said

"Got a gift for you, i have" Yoda said holding out a box in front of Naruto. Naruto took it thanking his Master. Opening it to find a smaller lightsaber to be able to do Form 4 in the future.

"Get sasuke, you will. Three days the journey will take" Yoda said

"Thank you Master"

Naruto visited Sasuke's room in the house yoda built years ago. He told Sasuke it was time to leave. He put on his robes, grabing his saber and followed Naruto out of the house to begin their journey to the hidden leaf.

Done Chapter 2, it skipped a lot of the training but i will do flashbacks in the future to their time training
