Hello everyone and welcome to the start of the journey of the gamer know as Kettō Dubhar! This is going to be a True Neutral type character. That means we will do anything that benefits himself before others. I've seen a hero gamer, a anti-hero gamer and a Evil gamer. But I have yet to see a true neutral one in fanfiction. So I'm gonna do it myself! Don't expect super fast updates but I can promise at least once a week.(also yes I know its not that long. I'm still getting into the swing of writing again) Any-who time for the standard openings!
Warning/Disclaimer
First off:
I don't own anything except any OC (original characters) You see in my stories and of course the plot when it diverges from canon. If I was I would be making a lot more money then I am now. Credit to all original owners.
Secondly:
This is Fan Fiction people. There's going to be clichés and ideas that have been used before. Unless your brand new to fan fiction, then I think we can agree we have read a loooooot of stories. So...many... As a result of that those ideas seep into our minds and inspire us. If you recognize something chances are I read something similar and it got stuck in my brain. Hell, that's why even fan fiction exists. Someone read a book and went "but what if this happened?" or thought "oooh but what if this character did this?" Hell the best example? Dumbledore. Evil Dark Lord, "cant see the tree in the forest" Good Guy, Or a man who is good or bad but just wants to protect his world. And many many others.
People like to claim a lot of different things happen when you die. Some say you see a bright light. Others nothing but darkness. Well I can safely say no one was right. I'm died. That's the first thought that enters my head. 'Odd, I don't...feel dead.' I glance around me and notice that no matter what direction I look it's a blank, dark expanse. Almost like a void. I suddenly notice that I can't see my own body. It's just not there. And yet I can do things like tilting my head I notice as my head tilts. 'Even stranger, Also why am I not panicking about any of this?' Now don't get me wrong I'm glad I didn't start panicking. However, even though I died peacefully in my sleep you would think even just a little panic would set in, but there's just a calm acceptance.
After a seemingly fast yet lengthy time passes suddenly there's a flash of light and a screen looking thing appears before my eyes. As I flinch back I note it stays within eyesight at all times. Tilting my head as I read I feel the first signs of humor and disbelief set in:
Congratulations!
You have completed the tutorial! Unlocking all features and options!
I can feel my eye twitch as a sense of dread creeps up. "You mean to tell me that all I lived and went through for ninety years was just the tutorial?!" I pause mid-rant and stare at the screen, "and what do you mean unlocking all features and options?!" The screen ripples like a drop of water on a lake and changes: Would you like to activate the guide? Yes No (Note choices can be made with verbal, metal or physical commands)
I can feel my eye twitching again as I jab my finger into the yes option. I watch as the screen changes and the void around me ripples as I feel ground below my feet, the dark giving way to a pure white expanse instead.

No really none of these work except the first option
'If this keeps up I'm going to have a permanent twitch' I think to myself as I decide to test the second option to spite the system. A loud electric crack echos into the expanse as I get a shock that is strong enough to leave my finger smoking, which is a strange sight considering I still can't actually see my body! "Ok so note to self don't test the system, It has no sense of humor." I mutter pushing on the first option watching the by now familiar ripple as it changes.
What is going on?
Congratulations on completing the tutorial for your world! You are one of the lucky few who managed to make it all the way to the end and not be stopped along the way! In order to accomplish this you had to live for ninety years and not be killed by anything other than age and have no serious illnesses. Now that you have succeeded in this all options features and systems of the Unlocked Potential Interface (UPI for short) have been unlocked! You can now choose your starting conditions for your next life! Would you like to catalog your tutorial life to determine the best system match for your personal UPI?
Yes
I feel a bit of excitement stir inside me at the message. "Wait so you mean to tell me the multiverse theory was right? And I can now start over in any universe I choose?" I tilt my head thinking before noticing the screen seems to flash a bit. "Oh! Right well then. I don't know what you mean by personal UPI but your not giving me a choice. Besides," I chuckle as a gleam enters my eyes, "I may not remember much but I still want to learn everything I can!" I smirk and push the yes option not knowing just how much this would change what I had come to know.
