Chapter 3: The Welcoming of Jisedai High! A New Beginning, A New Romance!
The girl greeted me with open arms as she said, "Oh, Hi! I'm Izuki Midoriya! Welcome to Jisedai High! Are you the New Kid?"
I blushed a little as I said, "Y-Yeah, I am..."
"G-Great, Aizawa has asked me to be your G-Guide," She said nervously. "What's your name?"
"I-I'm T-Tatsuya..." I stuttered. "Tatsuya Hitoshi...".
"Oh, you have a very nice name," she said. "If you don't mind me asking, I just find it very interesting... What's your Quirk?"
"Oh? My quirk?" I questioned. "Oh, It's a Transformation Quirk."
"Oh! That's so cool!" She said in excitement. "Oh, right... Umm, if you would like to follow me, I could show you around?"
"Yeah... I would like that...".
"Cool," She said. "Do you know what class you're in?"
"I believe it was Class 1-A?" I questioned myself as I took out my schedule. "Yep. Class 1-A."
"Class 1-A?" She replied. "It looks like we'll be seeing each other then!" "Oh? How Come?" I asked.
"Because I'm in that Class!".
"Oh! Cool." I said.
"The classes are over here but ours is down the hall.".
As we began to walk down the hallway, the girl said, "So... Um, where do you transfer from?"
"Just a random school with no interest..." I said as I looked around. "Ohh... Uhh... What made you want to come here?".
"I got an invitation to come here and I thought It would be great to learn some things I have yet to learn myself... That's all.".
"Ah... Ok, oh, and to your left is the cafeteria. I like spending time there at night...".
She pointed outside and said, "Out there are the Training Grounds and Aizawa will make sure you're familiar with them by the end of the month, Don't worry."
"Alright..." I said as I looked at her. "What's your quirk?"
"My quirk?" She said, "Well... It's a bit complicated... Let's not get into that right now...".
She took me outside and began to say, "I'm sorry if I seem very nervous... I'm just not used to being the 'Hi I'm your guide' kind of person... I'm more of the 'I'm gonna write in my notebook' type of person..."
"Are you okay?" I asked her as I began to feel anxious.
"Oh, Me? Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry." She said as she looked away.
She looks back at me and says, "You seem very nice and that's calming me down a lot..."
I saw how her eyes sparkled a little as she said, "Wow... You look really pretty in the sunlight..."
The moment she noticed she said that, She immediately blushed and said nervously, "N-not that you are! I m-mean, you are pretty, g-goodlooking, and attractive; you know, Cute, umm, There's another word that I'd use..."
She suddenly calmed herself down as she said, "Sorry, I'm rambling..."
"Well, I think you're Cute too." I said calmly.
"Thank you!" she said cheerfully. "No one has ever called me cute before... I-"
"I like your hair.".
"You like my hair?... T-Thank you, It's just always, kind of foofy. I can't really do anything with it, it just kind of does this since it has always been this way... I-I like your hair too!".
"You have freckles?" I said as I looked at her face.
"Y-Yeah, I've had freckles since I was a Baby... My mom says it's one of my redeeming qualities! Umm, so that's kind of... What am I saying?!".
"What?".
"Uh, Nothing! Umm, you just... You just seem really nice and umm... You... You seem very attractive and I would really like to hang out with you more if that's okay... If not, Obviously, I'd completely understand since we just met... But I was wondering if you might want to, you know, hang out at a cafe or something outside of school?...".
"Well, not now obviously! It's during school time and I don't wanna get in trouble but... I just mean like, M-Maybe after school?".
I smiled as I said, "Of course, I would love too, since I'm free after school anyways!"
Her eyes gleamed in joy as she said, "That's Amazing! Thank you! Uh, So I'll see you after school?"
"Yeah.".
"Great." She said as we walked in Class 1-A.
"There you two are, I was wondering what was taking so long.", A guy with a weird scarf around his neck said.
I was guessing that the guy was the Teacher of Class 1-A, the Class I'll be in until I graduate from this school...
"Sorry we're a little bit late, Aizawa Sensei!" The girl said.
"Aizawa?!" I questioned. "So this guy is our Homeroom Teacher?!"
"Yep! And he's our P.E. Teacher too!" The Girl said.
"Did you get your school Gym Uniform?" The guy asked.
"Y-Yes sir, I have it with me..." I said nervously.
"Good. Get changed and we'll meet up by the Training Grounds..." The guy said as he left the Classroom.
"So... Who's the New Guy, Izuki? He's cute!" I heard one of the girls say.
"Oh, that's right! Everyone, This is Tatsuya Hitoshi! He just transferred here from another school!" The girl said.
"Hey... What's your name again?" I asked the Girl.
"My name? My name is Izuki Midoriya." She said, "Why? Did you forget my name already?"
"Yeah, Sorry, but I'll see you later, Izuki." I said as I left the Classroom to go change.
As I changed into my Gym Uniform, I went to the Training Ground as I saw Aizawa waiting for me.
Aizawa gave me a Ball as I asked, "What's this for?".
"It's part of the Test to test What you and your Quirk are made of..." He said as he grabbed a Meter Measurer from his back pocket.
"This should be easy since I don't really need to use my quirk..." I said as I got ready to throw the Ball.
"What?" I heard Aiwaza say before I threw the ball as hard as I could.
The Moment I threw the ball, the ball released huge amounts of shockwaves as they led up to the sky. I looked behind me and saw everyone with a Shocked face expression on their faces. Aizawa showed me and everyone how far I threw the ball. The meter measured the distance as it turned into the symbol of Infinity!
"WHAT!!!???", I heard Everyone shout out in Shock.
"It's Infinity?!", I heard one say as another said, "Wow!! The Infinity symbol actually popped up!!"
Aizawa made me do a 50-Meter dash and I got 2.8 seconds!
"2.8 Seconds?!" I heard everyone shout out as one said, "Talk about Fast... This guy is almost unbeatable at anything!!"
The next one was a Grip strength Test and I accidentally broke the Grip Machine...
"What the?! He broke the Grip machine!!" I heard one say as another said, "Man, What Strength!!..."
The third one was a Standing Long Jump, the fourth one was Side-stepping, and the Fifth one was an Agility Test... Aizawa had robots shoot lasers at me! I dodged the Lasers and broke, pretty much, all the Robots... Everyone still had a shocked look on their faces as they watched me go inside to change back into my clothes. All the other classes were pretty normal, but I began to become happy by just thinking about hanging out with Izuki after school.
As the last period of the day had ended, I walked outside the classroom and heard a familiar voice. "Hey!".
I looked to my right and saw Izuki.
"So... Are you good to hang out?" She asked.
"Yeah, I was just waiting on you!" I said, smiling.
"Oh, Cool! Follow me, I'll show you this really nice cafe down the street...".
As we just began to walk down the street, Izuki began to say, "So... How was your first day?..."
"It was good.".
"Good, Aizawa didn't give you a tough time, did he?".
"Nah, He actually turned out to be nice once I got done with my Test.".
"Aizawa?! Nice?!" Izuki questioned with a surprised look on her face. "You must have been on his good side somehow..."
"Anyways..." Izuki Continued. "So... What are your Hobbies?"
"Hobbies?" I questioned. "Well, my hobbies are actually studying other people's quirks."
"Oh! Me too, I mean, I'm just asking because I just wanted to know...".
I began to blush a little the more I looked at her until she said, "Is something wrong? Your Face is turning red."
"Are you sick? Do you need to go home?" she said as she began to ramble. "If you give me your number, I mean if you give me your phone not your number, I mean you can give me your number if you want but I was, I meant, you can give me your phone and I can call someone to get you..."
As she finished her sentence, she began to Blush more than I was...
"Now you're the one who looks sick.".
"Now I'm the one who looks sick?" She said as she began to blush even more. "I'm not sick, I'm just red on the cheeks... just a little flushed... You know it's kind of warm today..."
We stopped in front of the cafe as Izuki said, "Oh, look! We're here..."
"Well... That's one way to try and change the subject...", I thought as I smirked and raised my right eyebrow.
"Do you want to sit outside?" She said, "You know what? Nevermind, you just sit here. What do you want?"
"Just some tea." I said as I sat down.
"Okay, I'll go buy you one, I'll be right back." She said as she walked inside the cafe.
5 minutes have passed as I wait for Izuki.
Izuki comes out of the Cafe and hands me a cup as she says, "Here. I got you some Green tea."
"Thanks." I replied.
Izuki sat down and said, "So... Um, Okay... I know that I asked you here and that was like a cool like a hang out thing but I think You're really cute and I would really like to you know..."
She took a deep breath and said, "I want to go on a date with you! Can you please just like say yes or no really, really quickly cuz I'm way too anxious to just wait for an answer!..."
I leaned in close to her and Kissed her.
The moment I pulled back, Her face was completely Red.
"I can see that was a Yes to the question..." She said as she looked down to her lap.
"I'm Sorry, I just-".
"No, No! It wasn't bad at all, I enjoyed it," She said. "But that was just my First Kiss... Ever... In my Entire life..."
"Did you not want it to be with me?" I asked.
"No, no! I'm glad it was with you and not with someone I'd wasted it on, you know?".
"Well, did you waste it on me?".
"What? No! Of course I didn't waste it on you... You kind of made that really sweet and cute, even though I was an anxious mess...".
"So..." She continued. "I'm just making sure that was a yes on the date thing, right?"
I chuckled a little as I said Yes.
She chuckled a little as she said, "Awesome...".
"I'm free this Saturday if you want to come over to my place...".
"I'll pick you up.".
"You'll pick me up? Great...".
"I'm Sorry," She continued. "I've never gone on a date before and I like to build up the courage to ask you that, that was not like me at all... I mean, I wanted it to be but it didn't have to be this of kind of way... I said hang out but-".
"I'm okay with this being a date." I said as I smiled at her.
"You're okay with this being a date?" She questioned before she suddenly became cheerful. "Me too!"
I grabbed her hand as I saw her eyes widen as they gleamed brightly.
"Umm... Wow, you just grabbed my hand..." She said before she chuckled and said Hi nervously.
"Umm, You should drink up before your Tea gets cold...".
"Oh, yeah..." I said before I started chugging my tea down.
"Umm, I journal a lot about Different types of quirks I see and I like to analyze the quirks around me and their weaknesses, their strengths, and I do a lot of that... Umm, yeah, that's pretty much my whole life, I'm not gonna lie...".
"Well, I think it's adorable that you're dedicated to that." I said, continuing to smile.
"I-It's not adorable! It's creepy and strange...".
"I don't find it strange, I find it unique.".
"Uhh, You don't think it's weird?..." she said before she smiled in relief. "Awesome..."
"So... Do you want to do this during the weekend or something?..." She said, "I mean, I know we have a date for Saturday and all..."
"Well..." I began to say. "How about everyday after school?"
"Everyday after school?" She said, "You want to hang out that much? With me?"
"Well, I wanna get to know you better.".
"I-I want to get to know you better too! Wow, you seem more sweet than I imagined...".
"Well, You're a lot cuter than I imagined." I said, smiling again.
"C-Cute?!" Izuki said as she became red again. "I'm not cute!"
I chuckled as she began to stutter.
"You're a blushing mess!" I said cheerfully.
"I'm not a Blushing mess. It's just the sun, it's warm! That's why I'm red, I must be getting sunburned... Where is my sunscreen?!...".
I laughed as she actually began to look in her bag for sunscreen.
"Oh god... Umm, that's not really passing as a... 'Me getting sunburned, is it'?".
She noticed me sitting next to her as I got close to her as she said, "Oh, You're so close! Umm... in a good way... I'll scoot over..."
I put my arm around her as I said, "Are you okay with me doing this?".
"Y-Yeah... I really like this... WIth your arm around me, I'm not used to it and it'll take me a while for me to get used to this...", she said.
"You're cute.".
"I'm not cute...".
"I only kiss Cute girls.".
"You only kiss cute girls?... If you kissed me then... Oh! You think I'm C-Cute...", She said. "Well, you won't think I'm cute when I beat you in training!"
I laughed until I said, "Well, I don't think you'll have a chance against me!".
"You don't think I'll have a Chance?! I'll show you because it'll take a lot more than cockiness to beat me! So... I'll dominate you in the ring, I know I'll win."
Izuki looked at her phone and said, "Oh, It's getting kind of late, we should head home soon..."
"Well, would you mind letting me take you home?" I said.
"Yeah, I wouldn't mind letting you take me home, No problem.". "Come on, let's go!" She said as she got up and lets go of my hand.
I quickly grabbed her hand again as she said, "You're okay with me holding your hand?"
"Yeah..." I said as I blushed a little.
"Good. Now, Come on, slowpoke!".
I took Izuki home, She kissed me on the cheek, and told me goodnight as I watched her Go inside her home. Before I began to float up to the sky and head home, I began to feel my heart skip a beat every time I began to think about Izuki.
"So, This is what Love feels like...", I thought. "And now that I know what Love feels like, I'll do anything to protect Izuki! As long as She's safe, that's good enough for me! I'll do my best to be the Best Boyfriend I could be! Believe it!!"
The Next morning as I got to school, Aizawa made me battle some robots that they used in the Entrance Exam that they had... Of course, they were pretty easy to destroy... But before I knew it, Everyone was getting dressed in their Hero Costumes.
I asked Izuki what was happening and she said that We were going to a Place called the U.S.J, which is a Training facility. We got on the bus as I noticed that one guy in the back was wearing normal clothes like I was...
As I sat down next to Izuki and held her hand, a Blonde Guy in Golden Armor who's sitting right next to me, tapped me on the arm and said, "Hey! I'm Akihiko Fuji, It's nice to meet ya! Do you know that only you and Hikaru are the only ones wearing normal clothing?".
"Yeah, I noticed that the moment I stepped onto this bus," I said. "By the way... Did you say Hikaru? As in Hikaru Tanaka, Hikaru?..."
"Yeah, Why? Do you know that guy?" he asked.
"Well, Let's just say we had a long history together...".
"Well, What happened between you two?" Izuki asked.
"Well... We were best friends when we were little until one day... He suddenly changed and became a jerk..." I said as I looked at him.
Hikaru noticed me looking at him but he just ignored me and looked out the window.
"Just forget I said anything," I said as I sat up straight. "Anyways, Is that your Hero Costume?"
"Yep!" he said cheerfully. "Jisedai made this Hero Costume just for me, along with the help of my Dad, Han Fuji, who has the same quirks as me even though I got them from him."
"Okay..." I said before I looked at Izuki. "What about you, Babe?"
"Oh, Me? I had some battle training and my Hero costume didn't make it in one piece so the School's support company is repairing it for me," She said. "I just gotta wait until then... What about you? Where's your Hero Costume?"
"Oh, mine? The school's support company just started making mine that my Dad suggested to them since me and my Dad have the same quirks...".
"Well, I guess that makes sense, since your Dad is trying to help you become a strong hero, right?" she said.
"Yeah... I guess..." I said as I began to space out.
We arrived at our destination, but the moment we walked inside the facility... It was Amazing and Breath-taking!... There was a Flood-zone, A Landslide-zone, and there was a lot more too! We were introduced to a Hero Called Thirteen, who is the Space Hero who works best during rescue scenarios...
"There's the Flood Zone. The Landslide Zone. The Conflagration Zone... Etc. Every Disaster and Accident you can Imagine." She said, "I built this Facility myself. I call it... The "Unforeseen Simulation Joint"!!".
"Before we start, I have one or two points. Or three... Four...".
Lots of Points..., I thought as I became anxious.
"As I'm sure many of you are aware... My quirk is called Black Hole." She said, "It can suck in and tear apart anything."
"And you've used it to save people in all sorts of disasters!" Izuki and Her Twin Brother, Izuku, said.
"Those two are definitely twins, that's for sure But where did he pop up from? ", I thought.
"Indeed... However, my power could easily kill." Thirteen said. "I've got no doubt there are some among you with similar abilities..."
"In our Superpowered society, the use of quirks is heavily restricted and monitored. It may seem that this system is a stable one, But we must never forget that it only takes one wrong move with an uncontrollable quirk for people to die...", she continued. "During Aizawa's physical fitness test, you can learn of your hidden potential. Through All Might's battle training, you experienced the danger that your respective quirks can pose to others."
"Yeah, the battle training I missed out on apparently...", I thought.
"This class... will show a new perspective! You will learn how to utilize your quirks to save lives." Thirteen Continued. "Your powers aren't meant to inflict harm. I hope to leave you here today with the understanding that you're meant to help people. That is All! Thank you for listening!"
Me and Aizawa noticed a little black hole appearing in the Plaza as it opened up with a guy with a hand as a Mask, coming out of it.
Aizawa quickly shouted, "Huddle up and Don't move. Thirteen!! Protect the Students."
The hole widened as more people came out of it!
"What the heck's that?!" I heard Akihiko say. "More Battle robots? Like during the Entrance Exam?"
"Don't Move. Those are Villains!!" Aizawa shouted.
It turns out that the Little Black Hole was someone using their quirk as I heard them say, "Thirteen... And Erasure Head, is it? According to the staff schedule I received the other day... All Might was supposed to be here..."
"Of Course. That whole incident was this scum's doing." I heard Aizawa say.
"What Incident?" I asked.
"Before you arrived here Tatsuya, We had an Incident with the Prep..." He said. "And Now we know that it was these guys doing..."
I heard the guy with the hand mask say, "Where is he...? We've come all this way and brought so many playmates... All Might... The Symbol Of Peace... Is he here...? I wonder if some dead kids will bring him here?"
Ironically... They appeared before us during our Rescue Training. We learned that what the pros are up against... What they face in the field... Is... Evil Unleashed!
