After eating her food, Soifon decided to go home after thanking Mena for hanging out with her" Thank you!" She replied standing up from her seat and placing a few bills to pay for her food" See you at school?" Mena asked, looking hopefully at the smaller teen, Soifon gave her a nod" Sure!" She smiled before heading out, of the cafe.

Soifon called a taxi to take her home, knowing that she had a strict curfew and knew what would happen if she wasn't home on time, waiting on the taxi to come, the small teen waited patiently letting out small hums. Looking up at the sky to watch clouds float by, seeing it was about to rain.

Thirty minutes have passed, and the taxi still hasn't shown up. Letting out a sigh hoping that her taxi driver would get here before it starts to rain seeing the sky darken up with the storm clouds.

she frowned as she looked for the taxi which was running thirty minutes late, checking her phone for the time, cursing her taxi driver, it was now eight Pm, she tapped her foot " Oh, come on you damn taxi!" She hissed hoping if she had cursed at it, it'll be here but in vain the universe wanted her to wait.

Ten more minutes passed, and now it started to downpour soaking the small teen, Soifon growled as she waited in the rain, but decided to just walk home knowing she'll regret it in the long run, but she didnt care about the consequences later on. Walking home in the storm, she placed her bag in her shirt so none of her books had gotten wet.

Mena groaned with a pout, she ran to her car before it started to downpour, " Oh thank the gods! I didnt want to soak today!" She chuckled at her joke, started the car, and drove off she turned on her radio and the wipers to make it easier to see, and she pressed on the gas. The blond looked out her window seeing a few lighting strikes going across the sky.

The blond saw a few cars driving past a small frown on her face 'I hope Soifon makes it home safe!' She thought letting out a sigh ' Maybe I could have offered her a ride if I knew it was gonna rain!' She thought, shaking her head drove past the light when it turned green.

After driving for about twenty minutes, the blond finally made it home. Driving up the driveway, she parked behind Lucas's car and got out after putting the car in park, the rain hadn't slowed down yet and thundered shaking a few houses" Damn!" She growled as she ran to the front door, making it in five easy steps she quickly got into the door.

The blond sighed in relief as she shut the door, seeing the lights were out, she quietly walked through the living room up the stairs, to her room, not wanting to wake her brothers up from their sleep. She stopped at Lucas's room and quietly open the door to check on her twin to see him fast asleep, sprawled out on his bed.

Quietly walking in to cover her brother up trying not to wake him, she gave a small kiss on his cheek, before heading to her room for the night.

Unknowing Mena Lucas opened an eye to see his sister walk out, a small smile on his face as he went back to sleep.

Chad sat at his desk doing some homework, letting out a sigh as his father came in after 8 and was making loud noises. But the boy ignored the ruckus, he was on his last page, and he welcomed the storm since it blocked most of his father's loud voice.

After ten more minutes the boy finished the last page of his math homework, setting his pencil down and cracking his fingers that ached from writing for too long, he finished up his slice of pizza before getting up from his desk to head to the bathroom, to clean up before he went to bed.

After getting a quick shower, he went to bed after getting changed into a pair of sweats, he left his shirt off for the night. The boy turned on his side to look at the picture of his mother" Good night mother!" He whispered.

Turning off his lamp that was on a nightstand by his bed, and fell asleep listening to the soft thunder.
