After two hours of walking, the small teen made it home, after getting soaked to the bone her small frame shaking, Soifon looked at the sky seeing it still seeing lighting spread across the sky, the rain had stopped now it was just little sprinkles, but it still thundered now and then, turning her gaze back at the door she pulled out her keys from her wet pocket, pulling them out with a grunt.
She fought with getting the keys out of her pocket due to her being soaked, letting out a sigh and eventually getting her keys from her pants pocket, she unlocked the door hearing the small click she opened the door, and as she pulled her key out of the keyhole. Wiping her feet on the door mat outside before she walked in. Running her fingers through her wet hair moving her bangs out of her face.
Walking further into the house seeing almost the lights were out, only the kitchen light was on, letting out a quiet sigh as she advanced to the kitchen to get a cup of water, tossing her keys on the stand that stood by the front door, before entering the kitchen.
Walking over to the cupboard to grab a glass, filling it up with water " And where have you been young lady?" Henry's voice replied out of nowhere making the small teen nearly drop her glass, turning her stormy gray gaze to the table where Henry was sitting reading a newspaper, she looked at him calmly.
" I ended up going to a cafe with a friend!" She told him in a calm tone, her hand gripping her glass, Henry looked at her setting his paper down to glare at her.
Soifon looked at him with her chin up" And that's why you're late?" He asked, his voice rising, checking his watch" It's due past 10:30! You know you're supposed to be home about 7:30 on a school night unless you had a practice which I'm sure you didnt have tonight!" He replied coldly.
Standing up to walk over to the teen, Soifon would have backed away if the counter wasn't behind her, and he grabbed the teen's chin, making her flinch.
" I...it wasn't my fault.." She protested causing him to look at her in disbelief" And why is that?" He asked as he gripped her chin tightly making her look at him " I did call a taxi to pick me up but it never showed up and it started to downpour, so I decided to walk home!" She breathed as she tried to move her chin from her father who gripped tighter so she couldn't move.
" Even so you could have called, me or Marie to pick you up! Or even Jack!" He retorted coldly his blue eyes flashing.
As thunder rattled the house lighting brightened the room. Soifon tried to hold her ground but her whole body shook from the cold since she was still soaked. " I...I didn't think-" before she could finish her sentence, cause, he backhanded her in the face, hard enough to knock the small teen on the floor, forgetting he had his ring on.
The small teen landed on the hard tile floor dropping the glass in the process, it shattered in her hand, and she hissed in pain as the glass cut up her hand a bit, lifting herself into a half-sitting position wiping the blood that dripped from her busted up lip, she looked at him fear flickered in her gray eyes.
But she shook it off. Henry looked at her coldly for a bit, before bending down to grip her throat in his hand, Soifon moved her uninjured hand to tempt her to remove his hand from her neck. He smirked as he squeezed her throat tighter making the teen fight for breath. " You know you got to get punished!" He replied coldly.
Soifon tried to scratch his arm up but knew if she did it'll be a lot worse. After tightening his grip a bit he let the girl's throat go, before giving one last backhand to the face harder than last time" Next time, come home when you suppose to, or call one of us! Next time it'll be worse!" He replied, seeing the small girl whimper in pain whipping her bloody lip.
" Now, go get washed up and go to bed! Or do I have to do this again?" He asked, the raven-haired teen shook her head, getting up from the floor her cut-up hand clenched at her side. Watching Henry was his hand off.
Soifon backed away slowly, fighting back tears as she darted up the stairs. As she reached the bathroom she slammed the door shut behind her causing a few things to rattle, she walked to the sink, turned on the water to wash her face, and started at herself in the mirror. Seeing tears slide down her pale cheeks, she touched her lip which was split open, after washing her face, and got into a nightgown after she dried herself, letting out soft whimpers, as she sat down on the toilet, so she can wrap her hand up.
After ten minutes in the bathroom, she went to her room. After reaching her bed she plopped down on her stomach letting out sobs, followed by whimpers, and small humms, after crying herself to sleep the teen curled up into a ball.
Lucas woke up once his alarm went off, sitting up in bed, and letting out a yawn. Getting out of bed within five minutes. He got dressed in a black long sleeve pair of black jeans, before heading out of his room to make breakfast, he decided to make a few lunches.
Let out small hums as he made some oatmeal to eat on the way, and then started making three lunches, one for Mena and one for himself, and one well for Soifon. Feeling something covering his eyes" Guess who?!" A female voice giggled.
Lucas let out a sigh, but he had a smile" I don't know maybe an annoying sister!" He laughed hearing her whine. But stopped when she saw three lunch boxes" Ohh, what's the third one for?" She asked with a grin, looking over her twin's shoulder" None of your business!" Lucas retorted with a smirk, he knew his sister will be nosy about anything.
Ignoring his sister whining" But you can tell me! I'm your favorite sister!" Mena grinned causing Lucas to roll his eyes as he set the boxes in his bag.
" If you need to know one's for Soifon since she isn't a fan of school lunches, so I figure I help out!" He replied, walking away once his bag was zipped so Mena couldn't say anything else about the matter. Looking over his shoulder to see Mena following with a smirk, but she didnt says anything else as she got into his car " You have your car you know!" The boy replied with a roll of his eyes" Yeah, I know! But I want to ride with you!"
Lucas nods not wanting to argue over it, and get her mad, putting the car in reverse out into the road and driving to school, putting the radio on, and turning the music up. After twenty minutes has passed the twins made it to school.
Lucas parked at his assigned parking spot" Alright we're here now get out!" He teased shoving Mena lightly who pouted" Why do you get to be so mean?!" She grinned as she got out of the car, closing the door behind her.
Lucas got out after locking it before walking inside, his hands in his pockets he headed to his locker to put his bag inside along with the lunch boxes til lunch. With a small smile on his face closed the locker door before heading to math class. He ran his fingers through his hair greeting a few of his classmates as he entered the class, he hoped he'll see Soifon soon.
Looking around the room he knew they had the same math class along with the gym, but he didnt see the small girl, the only person he saw was Sai who usually sat beside Soifon, which made him somewhat jealous but he didnt voice it.
