Cat?

Poniko perked up instantly. Before she knew it, she was turning around, blonde ponytail trailing behind her. That was totally a cat, right? If there was a cat in here then it needed all the pets. Man, how long has it been since she's actually seen a cat? She'd love to have one in here, having some company for once would be great in this stupid pink ocean. Poniko could already feel her hand rubbing against the head of a cat, feeling its soft fur as it purred in contentment-

That wasn't a cat.

No, it was a girl, a brown haired one in a skirt and bright red shoes, and that garish pink sweater with a window pattern on it.

Poniko stomped her foot in frustration, coming face to face with Madotsuki. The girl, sporting a pair of cat ears and a tail, simply looked at her with a blank expression. What did she want now?

The blonde watched with narrowed eyes as the other girl wandered around the room. God, she always did this. What, did she think the entire room was going to suddenly rearrange itself within the 5 minutes she was gone?

…Now that she thought about it, it wouldn't actually be that out of place for something like that to happen. Poniko had definitely seen weirder things- that wasn't the point!

Suspicion danced across the girl's face, as she noticed Madotsuki meander over towards a cushion laying on the floor- one specifically there for if an actual cat wandered in. What is she cooking…?

"Nya~"

Cat? No- dang it, that was just Madotsuki again. Poniko stomped her foot in frustration, before shooting a glare at the brunette. Stop that!

The other girl didn't even glance at Poniko, as she moved towards the door. Finally, was she going to leave her alone?

Wait.

Poniko's gaze moved from the door to an unassuming light switch- which was right next to the door. Her blue eyes widened.

No.

Madotsuki's hand stretched towards the switch.

Don't do it.

A pair of fingers delicately grasp the lever, almost taunting in nature.

Don't you dare do it.

She cut the lights.

Madotsuki found herself on her balcony, overlooking a layer of orange clouds, and a dark sky overlooking her. She was asleep. Good. Her red shoes squeaked against the concrete floor, as she walked back into her room.

She took in the sight of her apartment, the ugly red and yellow rug gracing her with its familiar unsightliness.

Click

Her door opened. Madotsuki's attention shot to said door- the door that was on the opposite side of the room. The brunette took out a knife.

Surprisingly, it was that blonde girl from the pink sea that entered. Poniko strode into the room, like a woman on a mission. She warily glanced at the knife that was still in Madotsuki's hand, but otherwise continued inside with no hesitation.

The brunette watched, curiously, as the other girl walked over to one of her walls.

Huh, when did that light switch get there?
