Chad sat in his seat, looking at the front as class was about to start, Miss. Cooke put some page numbers on the board along with how many questions they should do. He looked around the class at first seeing Mena who smiled in greeting, he gave a small nod.

Before turning his head back to the front of the class as he copied the numbers he had to do on a notebook paper. " I want this done at the end of class!" Miss. Cooke replied as she finished putting their work on the board.

Chad looked down at his paper after he wrote, the numbers and found the page he needed. Quietly working on the worksheet, he hummed as he worked.

Mena wrote hers down slowly not wanting to do the work, but she did it anyway, she looked at her brother who was looking around the room with his blue eyes, and she poked him.

" Hey, you have to do this too!" She grinned, and Lucas looked at her" Sorry, I was just thinking!" He replied rubbing his neck. Mena looked at him nodding" About Soifon?" She grinned patting his back.

Lucas glared at her softly, before looking away from her" You know you're a pain in my ass!?" He retorted playfully, as he got to his worksheet and started doing the answers.

As his mind wandered a bit, he looked behind him to see Sai looking around slightly, it seemed like the long-haired teen was looking for someone as well. Lucas turned back to his work, writing down the last page he needed to get down, he wondered where Soifon could be but figured she was probably running late.

Miss. Cooke looked around the room, and decided to ask" Has anyone seen Ms.Gray?" She asked looking at the room for the small teen, everyone shook their heads, some saying.

" No!" The teacher gave a small nod and went to make a phone call. Lucas watched her go to her desk, he frowned hoping nothing bad had happened. He wanted to spend more time with her, to get to know them a bit.

Slowly waking up from her sleep, gray eyes looked at the clock that was on her nightstand, seeing it was 8:30, the small girl sighed she knew she was an hour late to school.

Covering her face with her blanket she knew she had to get up and get to school, or she'll get another lecture. Slowly throwing her blanket off of her small form, she got out of bed. Placing her feet on the cold floor. Her body felt numb and she felt shaky due to being in the rain for so long, it was getting to her.

Soifon walked over to her closet, took off her nightgown slipped it over her head, grabbed a blue short sleeve shirt, and slipped it over her head, hissing as her muscles started to ache now and then, but she ignored it.

After getting dressed the girl walked into the bathroom to brush and braid her hair, after doing her hair for a couple of minutes. She looked at the mirror seeing herself in it, she raised her hand to touch her lip winching a bit as she softly touched the cut.

She stood there for a second looking at herself in the mirror, shaking her head at herself, before heading out of the bathroom and out of the house without grabbing something to eat. She didnt have time for it, plus she wasn't in the mood to eat.

Lucas listened to Miss. Cooke talking to someone" Yes, I was wondering if your daughter was coming in today?" She asked, hearing the other person talking, but before he even got to listen to the rest, the classroom door opened, and he turned his gaze along with Miss. Cooke.

" Nevermind she's here now!" Hanging up the phone, the teacher turned her attention to the teen who just walked in" Your late Ms. Gray! Care to explain?" The brunette asked calmly.

The small raven-haired girl looked away slightly, she looked at the class before turning her attention to Miss. Cooke" I'm...sorry I overslept!" Soifon replied looking at the teacher with an apologetic look, Miss. Cooke was about to scold the young girl, but seeing the state she was in the brunette let it slide.

" I'll let it go this time, but next time Miss. Gray you'll have to stay after class!" She replied, giving Soifon a small nod to go to her seat" Just start on what's on the board!" Soifon gave a small nod and quickly walked to her desk.

Lucas watched the whole scene, not taking his eyes off Soifon, his eyes darted to her face seeing her busted-up lip, his hands clenched as his fists he wondered where she got it from. He looked over his shoulder seeing her sit down beside Sai who gave her a side-eye.

The small teen sat in her seat after she greeted Sai, who gave her a look she gave him a soft glare hoping he didnt question her, especially in class. Sai gave a small sigh and looked back at his work.

Soifon sighed as she started on it. She looked up at the clock it was almost time to change classes, she looked up at the front when Miss. Cooke spoke," If you're not done with your worksheet, I want you to do it for homework!" She told them.

Everyone got up from their seats once the bell rang, Lucas got up from his seat and headed out of the classroom and headed towards the gym. With his hands in his pockets he looked over his shoulder to see a few others following him out of the room.
