Hey so this is my second series here, the last one didn't make much sense but hopefully this one will have a more comprehensive storyline. I'm not really sure how to start things but I guess I should introduce you to my main OC (self insert) and probably the only one that will show up. His name is Nevaris and he's based off of KH nobodies like Roxas and a heartless. I'm not really sure exactly how to explain it but it's like those anti-sora heartless but a Nobody. Actually I think I'll start with the backstory of Nevaris.

Ranise POV

I woke up and laid there for a few minutes not wanting to get up. I rolled over and tried to go back to sleep but I was unable to as my parents' dogs were being loud again, Barking for no real reason at all. I had no choice but to get up and go downstairs.

Once downstairs I calmed my dogs down and proceeded to go to the kitchen to find nobody there. Usually my house is full of people as we are a large family in a small house. I started brewing myself a pot of coffee. While I waited I walked around the house looking for people. Finding absolutely nobody I decided they probably all had to go out. I finished making my coffee and went to my computer in the basement to watch something while I drank it.

After finishing my coffee and Mumbo's latest hermitcraft episode I went up to the living room and noticed a black puddle in the middle of the room. I stared at it for a few minutes not entirely sure what it was, then something started to come out of it. three small dark creatures with glowing yellow eyes. Once the creatures had fully emerged the puddle vanished. (these are just shadow heartless)

It didn't really seem violent at first. We just kind of stared at each other for a while as I tried to figure out what it was. I took a few steps closer and kneeled down in front of it. With a closer look I noticed it looked kinda cute. But just as I thought that there was a swift movement and everything went black.

It took me a moment to realize what had happened. It had killed me with its sharp claws. It was still super cute though. I tried to move but it felt like I was deep under water but I wasn't struggling to breathe. Actually it felt thicker than water. Like ink.

After a while I managed to get my head out of the thick inky liquid and get back on my feet. I looked at the ground and saw the black puddle vanish. The same one that had been in my living room. However I was no longer in my living room.

I looked at my hands and saw that they were black like ink. I looked around and found myself to be much smaller than before but I don't think I was as small as the other creatures from before. (heartless soldier)

I wandered around for some time not really sure what to do about my new situation. I saw a few people but they all screamed and ran. I'm not entirely sure what I look like now but my inky black hands and the screams of everyone I meet makes me think that I'm quite scary looking.

After a while of wandering I came across a guy dressed in all black I came up behind him to get a better look at what he was holding. It looked like a really fancy sword or something. He took his hood off and I looked up to see that he looked like me. (keyblade: void gear. The one Vanitas uses in KHBBS)

Shocked and confused I made a startled sound and he quickly turned around and looked at me. He quickly swung his sword at me but I barely avoided it. I've watched enough anime to know that his movements were that of an amateur.

It threw me off seeing as how I was being attacked by myself. But I did my best to fight back despite being in a new body. After a short fight we both collapsed with major injuries. I had a large gash going across my entire body while he was covered in small claw wounds. Looking at him he looked like he was on the brink of death and I felt the same. After a few seconds of lying there everything went black again.

(now this is where things go off the rails. This isn't something that has ever happened in KH lore so I decided to make it so when a heartless and the corresponding nobody kill each other they fuse in a unique way completely unlike how the somebodies in KH3 were brought back. Due to this specific circumstance a Nobody/heartless hybrid is created for the sake of convenience I'll call this a Nobess… Creative I know…)

After waking up for the third time today I looked around to find myself in a dark room laying on a table. I got up off the table and looked down at my body. I was wearing the black cloak the other me was wearing earlier. I looked at my hands and they didn't have claws but when I took my glove off I saw that my hand was still an inky black. After putting my glove back on I left the room.

I saw a man in a black cloak just like mine looking out the window just down the hallway

"Hey." I said "where am I?"

"Glad to see you're up."

"That doesn't answer my question."

"What's your name?" he asked.

"Ranise."

"Not anymore it isn't."

"What?"

"You're name is Nevaris now."

"Why?" I asked.

"Anyway, Nevaris, we should get moving along now. There is much to do." The man said as he began to walk away.

"That's not my name"

"Follow me."

"Where are we going?" I followed him.

"To train you of course."

"Train me? For what?"

"Battle! Obviously."

"Who do I need to fight?"

"That's for you to decide."

"Then why do you want to train me?"

"Because you're interesting."

"What does that mean?"

"It means that I've never met a creature like you. And also you didn't show up in my prediction"

"Prediction? Like seeing the future?"

"More or less. I can see anything that my keyblade has or will see."

"Keyblade?"

He stopped in his tracks and turned to me. He held out his hand and in a flash of light there was suddenly a fancy sword in his hand. "Keyblade." (the gazing eye keyblade)

"Oh I see. Um, how did you do that?"

"I just did it." he turned away and continued walking as his keyblade disappeared in another flash of light. "And you will too."

"Ok but how?"

"Just hold out your hand and think about it. It should come to you naturally."

"Also, you never gave me your name."

"I'm the master of masters but you can just call me master."

"Does that make me a master?"

"No."

"Oh."

We arrived at a back alleyway and the master stopped. "This should be out of sight enough" He held out his hand and a dark portal appeared before him. "This portal will lead you to a place where you will train your powers. I won't be helping you out much. My ability to tell the future tells me I need you to not be here for a while. When the time comes I hope you'll be strong enough for what I need you to do. Now, There are things I must set in motion. I'll find you when The time is right."

"Y'know. That's not very master-like of you to not train me yourself. But I guess it makes sense. I'll do my best to get stronger. Though I'm not really sure about any of this. But I got a weird feeling that I can trust you. goodbye." I said before stepping through the portal.

WELP. That's the first chapter. I know there wasn't really anything MHA related yet but that's coming up and most of this fanfic will take place in the world of MHA so look forward to it.
