(A/N: someone requested I do ratchet and clank fanfiction. So I decided to revamp my old story so there will be changes to the original such as Rook no longer has team of four but does still has his A.I Omniscient however the plot is relatively the same but there will be notable changes at the beginning and some new characters later in the story)

Personality: Jackie like all Spartan 2's are shown to have shown Anti-Social behavior as a result of the harsh training they went through, however Jackie has also shown to be a person who helps boost the morale of the troops as well as a caring nature for fellow soldiers.
He has an unbreakable will, a trait of all Spartan 2's, Jackie has also shown to have a lead from the front determination but is also professional and reserved. But Jackie is also willing to put his men before his mission and only puts the mission first when the moment is desperate.
Biography: Jackie was born on the planet Dryad of the Inner colonies. His father was X-military, formally part of the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers, and his mother was a biologist studying birds. Jackie was soon chosen as a prime candidate for the Spartan 2 program by ONI via his genetic marker.
In the academy Jackie earned the nickname Rookie by his teammates in team exercises, among his team he was always the last however this was because Jackie's team always seemed to come first in team exercises. Jackie purposefully came last in his team to make sure his team was first.
Over time Jackie formed what he called a 'pairbond' out of his fellow Spartans and soon his nickname 'Rookie' was shortened to Rook as a result. Two years after finding him and requiring him for the program the students went into the wilds to survive. With John-117 leading them all of the children returned safe.
Then in 2525 the Spartans went through the biological augmentation procedures to become a super soldier. To become Spartans. Jackie was one of the children who survived the augmentation successfully, the rest either died or were crippled.
And a month later the human-Covenant war started and Protect Mjolnir was put into commission, one year into the war, on the 27th April, 2526 Jackie was sent on a mission with a platoon of soldiers to the planet Green hills.
The planet was then glass and all personnel were thought dead but One month later Jackie brought all the survivors of the Platoon and some survivors from the Glassing back on a Covenant carrier by gassing it with powerful sleeping gas then proceeded to slit the covenants throats while they slept.
Seeing the morale of the troops raised from the return of a Spartan thought dead, the office of naval intelligence created the Directive 930, all Spartans were to be considered MIA(missing in action) if any Spartan casualties appeared.

Year 2560: Rook is still in active service and one of the few Spartan 2's remaining, Humanity is pushed to some of the smallest corners in the galaxy after the failed attempt on the Zeta Halo ring. The question now remains. What now? What do we do? What can we do? What can the Rook do?
