After eight hours of school, everyone was heading outside or to their lockers to drop some items off or get things they had put in the lockers, some students laughed as they talked about what they were doing for the weekend. Soifon walked to her locker she had told Lucas she'll to meet him outside of the school gates, she needed to get a few things out of her locker before she left. Letting out small happy hums as she reached her locker.
Opening the door up with a soft click she grabbed her hoodie, slipped it on herself, grabbed her bag as well, and closed her door, she was about to walk away when strong arms shoved her into the locker, her back hitting the cold metal door, she looked up to see her brother, who looked at her with a grin.
" Hey, loser!" He replied, causing the younger teen to sigh and glare" What do you want Jack?" She asked because she didn't have time to play around with whatever he has in mind" Oh, just wanting to let you know I'll see you at home and don't be late!" He replied with a smirk, Soifon rolled her eyes at the blond but didn't say anything, she knew he will just ignore it anyway.
Jack gave the girl a wink before walking off down the hall, Soifon didn't move from her spot until he was out of sight, then pushed herself off the locker door, and headed outside to meet up with Lucas so they can go hang out, after getting out of school she saw Lucas waiting for her outside the gate, he looked up from his phone when she walked over.
Lucas smiled as she walked over to him" Ready to go?" He asked, the girl nodded" Yes I am!" She smiled glad that she was with him, Lucas nodded with a grin" Where will you wanna go?" He asked as they both walked down the sidewalk to his car.
" I don't mind!" She replied, Lucas, smiled as he thought about it, he knew he wanted to ask her to be his girlfriend, once they got to the car Lucas opened the door for Soifon who got in with a nod of thanks, closing the door and got into his seat" How about we get some takeout, and then go to the park?" He suggested with a smile.
Soifon nodded with a smile" Sounds great!" She replied softly as she turned the radio on and ' Gods will' from Martina McBride was playing, Soifon smiled and started singing along"I met God's Will on a Halloween night He was dressed as a bag of leaves It hid the braces on his legs at first!" Lucas hummed listening to the radio and Soifon.
As he drove into a Dairy Queen and pulled up to the drive-thru!" What would you like?" He asked as he looked at the menu to see what he wanted" Whatever you get is fine!" She replied as she looked at the menu, Lucas nodded as he ordered" Can I have two chicken finger baskets, and two Dr.peppers, please? Do you want any ice cream?" He asked, causing the girl to smile brightly" A cookie dough blizzard will be nice thank you!" Lucas smiled and nodded.
" And a cookie dough blizzard and a chocolate chip mint blizzard as well and that be all!" He finished the order.
After paying for the food, Lucas drove to the park so they can eat, Soifon smiled as she looked out the window, parking in a spot, Lucas turned the car off and got out carrying the food, and helped Soifon out of the car.
" Thank you!" She smiled, as she got out of the car with him, and both walked to a bench so they can eat their meals, both sitting on opposite sides of the table. Lucas handed Soifon her basket of food, Dr. Pepper, and ice cream, the girl smiled at him as he took out his food.
Both ate their food in silence, which Lucas didn't like so he decided to break it" So, Soifon are you seeing anyone at the moment?" He asked hoping she'd say no, looking at the girl's pale face as she shook her head" No, Why?" She asked curiously, causing the boy to sigh in repeat.
" Well I was just thinking! I know we have only known each other for a couple of weeks, but I really like you!" He said quietly blushing, Soifon looked at him with a blush" R-really?" She asked making sure he wasn't playing with her.
Lucas looked at her giving a nod" Yes, I do! I was wondering if you like to be my girlfriend. I promise to treat you better!" He asked looking at the girl who had a large blush on her pale face, shaking her head to clear her head, she smiled.
" I'd love to be your girlfriend!" She replied leaning over to kiss him on the cheek" R Really?" He asked shocked that she agreed to be his. Soifon giggled at his shocked face" Yes, I'm sure!" She said in a happy tone, as she reached to hold his hand" Let's eat, and then go for a walk after how's that?" She suggested with a grin.
Lucas nodded" Sounds perfect!" He replied and both teens started to eat their food, not in a hurry to finish their food now since they have each other.
Chad and Mena walked through the mall, their hands locked with each other, Mena looked around thinking about what store they should check out first" Would you like to go to the arcade?" She asked, with a smile once she spotted a sign that said arcade on it.
Chad looked at the place and gave a small nod" Sure, but don't whine when I beat you!" He teased as he walked with her towards the games paying for a good amount of tokens for them to use.
Mena pouted crossing her arms playfully" Very funny! Why don't you whine if I beat you?!" She repeated his sentence, Chad laughed and thought about it" How about this whoever wins most games, the winner can choose where we can go, and the loser will have to do whatever the winner tells them to!" He suggested with a small smile, causing Mena to brighten up.
" Sounds fun! Let's do it!" She hopped on one foot for a few, as they headed to a game that had two players, which was a hunting game" Ready to lose my dear?" Mena asked with a wink.
Chad blushed a bit before he playfully rolled his eyes" Right back at you! Sweetheart!" He shot back as he put two tokens in for one game each, picked up a gun, and handed one to Mena who was blushing, shaking her head to clear her head and took one of the guns from Chad after she smacked him lightly on the shoulder playfully, and waited for the game to start.
After playing a couple of games, both making it a tie" Well I guess it's a tie!" Mena giggled as she looked at Chad" So what happens if it's a tie?" She asked, causing the boy to think.
" I don't know, maybe we both can choose where to go by flipping a coin?!" He suggested, but he decided to let her pick" But you can pick if you like then I'll pick the next thing to go!" He said as Mena thought, " How about getting something to eat?" She suggested, as her stomach growled a bit causing the girl to blush.
Chad chuckled a bit, and nodded" Sounds good! I'm getting hungry myself!" He admitted with a smile, Mena jumped up and down happily" Yay! Let's go eat!" She said loudly, causing Chad to flinch a bit, Mena smiled" Sorry!" She giggled, Chad gave a small nod and both walked toward the food court, hand in hand.
