This is a story about Professor Frizzle becoming a teacher at Alfea College for Fairies. She soon finds that her new students do not quite understand her except for one girl. She arranges 4 of her ex-students from Earth to help and become exchange students. Gradually her new students soon experience the wonders of magical field trips without the use of fairy magic.
