After hanging up with Chad Mena pulled into Soifon's driveway seeing the girl sitting on the porch, putting the car in park she pressed softly on the horn to let the girl know she was there along with Lucas who was determined to come with her.
The small teen quickly ran to the car and got into the back seat thankfully, she greeted Mena and Lucas" Sorry again for being a bother!" She replied breathing heavily still shaken up about what just happened. Mena looked in the rearview mirror to look at Soifon" I already told you Soi, don't worry about it!" The blond smiled, as she pulled out of the driveway.
Soifon nodded with a small smile as she looked out the window seeing Jack looking out of the window and giving her a death glare, but the girl ignored him and turned her gaze back to the two, Lucas was looking over the seat at her with a smile.
" You okay?" He asked he can sense she was nervous about something, and Soifon gave a small nod" Yeah, I'll be fine now!" She said calmly, turning her gaze back out the window, while Mena drove.
" Soi if everything was okay I don't think you'll be calling me for no reason at this late at night!" The blond spoke softly looking at the girl over her shoulder" You can tell us if anything happens! We're not going to judge you!" She replied with a small smile.
Soifon gave a small nod" Yeah I know, I'll tell you guys in the morning if it's alright!" She promised with a small tired smile, Mena nodded turning her amber gaze back to the road.
" I'll keep you on that promise!" Lucas replied giving her a serious look, Soifon just gave a small nod. After twenty-so minutes Mena drove into their driveway" You can stay with us if you like!" Mena offers, as she got out of the car With Lucas after she put it in park, Soifon nodded and got out after, and followed the two inside their house.
Chad was at home playing his ps4 he had called Mena to see what she was up to, and she told him she was just picking Soifon up from her house, and they had agreed to go to the beach tomorrow.
A smile on his face as he played Black ops 4 shooting a couple of other players. He tossed a chip in his mouth as he played for a couple more hours before getting off and going to get a shower before he went to bed, his father was yelling into the phone again but the boy just ignored him.
After fifteen minutes of showering the boy put on a pair of navy sweats and went to bed, covering up with his blanket, and falling asleep after telling his mother goodnight, after a long night it had become morning, and his phone went off causing the boy to wake to see a text ' Hey, babe are you ready to go to the beach?' It was from Mena he smiled.
'Of course!' He texted back, getting out of bed to get changed to meet Mena and the others at the beach.
After getting changed into his beach clothes he had his trunks on underneath his jeans and went to make some food for a small picnic for everyone.
After morning came Mena was up getting Soifon and Lucas up so they can go to the beach" Come on you two it'll be fun!" The blond whined, causing the other two to playfully glare at her.
" It's too early for that!" Soifon pouted as she headed to the kitchen with Lucas behind her, seeing the small girl grab some apples and a cup of water, and sat down at the table, Mena walked in after the two.
" But it'll be fun! We can do something after!" She said, Soifon shook her head with a smile" I didn't say I didn't want to go! I'd love to go, I just have to get a swimsuit!" She replied, looking down at the table as she took a bite of her apple.
" Oh well, we'll just have to get you one!" Mena said in a happy tone, causing Lucas to roll his eyes as he started to make breakfast.
" Yeah, this is going to be a long day!" He joked causing his sister to slap him playfully against the head" Hahaha!" She replied sarcastically, Causing Soifon to laugh, who was watching the whole scene play out, Lucas smiled seeing the girl smile, he had made some eggs, sausage, bacon, and toast and handed a plate to Mena and Soifon, and took his plate to sit down at the table.
All three ate in silence til Lucas broke it, " So, Soi are you going to tell us what happened last night that you didn't want to stay at your house? I'm not mad or upset you're here, I'm happy you're here!" He replied as he took a bite of a piece of bacon, as he watched his girlfriend set her fork down, she let out a sigh.
" If I tell you! Please don't overreact especially on my account!" She replied calmly, as she took a deep breath, Mena and Lucas leaned forward to hear her, Soifon looked at the two and explained what happened last night and what Jack tried to do" You mean your adopted brother tried to take advantage of you?" Lucas asked his tone rising in anger, causing Soifon to flinch, Mena sat there with a frown" How many times did he try to do this?" She asked.
Soifon looked away it wasn't the first time Jack tried something, but she kept it to herself, and they didn't need to know about the first time" This was the first time!" She replied slowly hoping they believe her, when she looked at the two to see their facial expressions, Lucas's face was furious, and Mena's was shocked and anger was on their faces.
" But everything is fine! I'll try to" she began as Lucas interrupted" Your staying here with us, until Mena goes back to the dorms, and you can stay with her! I don't want you near that piece of shit!" Lucas said in a serious tone.
Soifon gave a small nod" Anyway, let's not dwell on this matter, we got something to do! Better than thinking about this!" She replied as Mena nodded brightening up" True!" She said as she gave Soifon a small hug.
" Please don't hide something like that!" She said softly, Soifon hugged back, as Mena ran out of the kitchen to get her stuff ready for the beach, leaving the two alone.
Soifon looked at Lucas seeing his face still furious she walked over to him, wrapping her arms around his neck.
" Dont be too mad! It'll be alright I promise!" She replied kissing his forehead, the boy slowly wrapped his arms around her small waist" I know, but if he tries anything again, especially in my sight he's a dead man!" He said, putting his face into her neck.
