Soifon was sitting in the sand watching the others swim and chase each other with a smile, she was just enjoying watching the others. She was too busy watching everyone play around.
she didnt see a shadow hovering over her until some water was dumped on her head causing the girl to squeak and jump up from her spot, moving her wet bangs out of her face to see Lucas grinning face, the boy was having a hard time keeping his laugh in" You could have seen your face!" He laughed loudly holding onto her shoulder to keep himself from falling.
" Oh really?" Soifon asked with a smirk on her face, he was going to pay for that, a lot worse than what he did" You'll pay for that mister!" She said in a dry tone poking him in the chest playfully, causing him to gasp at her" Really?" He asked with a fake whimper" I'm scared!" He grinned as he looked at her, seeing a smirk on her face" You think I'm scared?" She asked in a sarcastic tone, as she headed to the water " Come on love!" She winked causing him to blush but followed her anyway to see what she was up to.
The small girl looked over her shoulder once she reached the water letting the waves hit her feet gently, tickling her between her toes and causing her to giggle" Sounds like someone is enjoying themselves!" Lucas's voice came from beside her she looked over with a small smile, the boy looked at her fondly as he reached for her hand she clasped it shut around his, a smirk across her face, holding his hand tightly so he wouldn't run from her.
The boy looked at her confused about what she had in mind, the girl pulled him in the water answering his unanswered question, and after getting further in Soifon let go of his hand and pushed tried to push him under the water, Lucas smirked as he let her push him under the water as he went under he grabbed her slim legs and pulled her under along with him causing her to squeak before she went fully under.
She looked at him as the water stung her eyes but ignored it swimming to him, a smile on their faces as they wrapped their around each other before swimming back up to the surface. Soifon let out a breath, she saw Lucas floating on his back laughing " That was fun!" He said looking at her with a wink causing her to blush, rolling her eyes playfully she splashed him before swimming back to shore. Ringing the water out of her hair a smile on her face Jerk!' She teased in her head.
After a while, Soifon decided to walk along the shoreline while the others sunbathed or just relaxed in the sun since they got done eating so they had to wait to go back in the water. Letting out a small hum as she let the wave splash her feet gently enjoying the feeling of sand on her feet even though the sand tickled her feet, listening to other kids laugh and yell at one another their parents telling them to stop doing that.
Hearing seagulls chirp loudly above, she smiled stopping to look out at the ocean, a small sigh escape her lips, and she dug her toes into the wet sand closing her eyes and enjoying the soft warm wind blow against her face causing her hair blows a bit, letting herself relax her eyes still closed, she was thinking about her life choices, about meeting her new friends, and found herself with Lucas, a smile on her face, to her she found her new family, that treats her better than her adopted parents.
Letting out a sign as she stood in the spot for a few more minutes before heading back she figured they can play some volleyball before they leave the beach. Only taking a few feet toward the others she heard a scream, from behind her without thinking she turned back to where she was and followed the scream seeing a few guys pulling at a girl's hair and clothes, the girl tried to run and pull away but the three guys just laughed and held her" Why fight us, babe?" One asked gripping her cheek" L leave me alone!" She whimpered.
Soifon snarled having seen enough ignoring the shouts of her friends, she ran over to the group of guys that were picking and teasing the girl and pushed her way through the group" Leave her alone you jackasses!" She growled putting herself between the guys and the girl who looked at her gratefully" Please be careful!" She said quietly, Soifon turned her head to her giving her a small smile" Dont worry-"
Before she can finish ber sentence one of the guys reached out for her" Oh really? I think you should be worried about yourself hottie!" The guy that spoke the first time winked at her causing her to roll her eyes at him, as she grabbed his hand instead.
" Well you should rephrase that!" She retorted as she yanked him down to the ground causing him to fall forward, she raised her other fist and pounced him in the face, causing the man to growl out" You bitch!" He snarled as she backed away from him letting him get off the ground, to glare at her" You'll pay for that you little winch!"
Soifon lifted her chin at him with a grin forgetting that there were three others with him" You think you're so smug!!" He sneered as he snapped his fingers for two of the guys to come up behind her and grabbed her arms tightly so she didn't move away.
" Not so smug now are you girly!" He smirked not seeing a grin on her face" In your dreams!" With that remark, the small girl moved her foot to step on one of the guy's feet making sure to step on it hard, causing the guy to grunt and let go giving her the chance to elbow him jn the chest, making him fall back and pounced the other guy in the face in the process making him fall back.
the girl that was getting messed with moments ago watched in surprise but with a smile on her face hoping that Soifon will beat them up. The two guys that fell on the ground whimpered before their so-called leader snapped at them" Get your asses up! Letting one scrawny girl beat you that easily!" He sneered, Soifon lifted her chin proudly as the guy advanced on her until a hand grabbed ahold of his shoulder" I wouldn't do that if I were you!" Lucas's voice came from behind the guy who turned his head to see the boy.
" And what do you want?" He sneered at him, as he turned his attention to the brown-haired boy, why was the guy was distracted? Mena, Ivy, and Mia ran over to Soifon, and the girl who hid behind the small teen left Chad to stand beside Lucas, after reaching the girl's side.
" You okay Soifon?" Mena asked hugging her friend who hugged back" I'm fine!" She said in a calm tone.
" They never laid a hand on me! But on the other hand, are you okay?" Soifon asked looking at the redhead who hid behind her, who gave a small nod" I am now thank you!" She replied in a shaky tone, as she watched the guys run away after Lucas and Chad argued with them. The two boys walked over to the girls.
" You okay Soi?" Lucas asked reaching to hug Soifon who leaned into his embrace" Of course I am! I don't have a scratch on me!" She told him with a smile
After awhile the girl thanked the group for helping her and headed back to her spot at the beach, leaving the group alone" Now what do we do? It is getting late and all!" Mia spoken up, as she looked at the sky which was slightly getting darker. Lucas gave a small nod" We should head home, and get ready for school tomorrow!" He agreed as he held Soifon's hand.
The others agreed about going home, after bidding goodbye to Mia, Chad and Ivy the three headed to the car and headed home after a long day at the beach.
