James was dragging Sirius into Digon Alley but he didn't seem to notice since he was so excited to see this mystery boyfriend to Sirius, Remus, Peter, and Regulus will probably tag along if he doesn't find his own friends. So, James is in his own world as they go looking for the boyfriend whom James had agreed to meet up with him. James may not have noticed Sirius acting as though something had gone ill and he caught it but Regulus sure did. Regulus obscurely pulled Sirius next to himself. Though James was so in another universe that Regulus could have stopped Sirius and grabbed him threw Sirius over his shoulder and ran away and James would not have noticed.
"So, you have been avoiding him? What are you going to do?" Regulus asks in a whisper to him and Sirius feels like a bumbling idiot.
"How the bloody hell do you know that I did that?" Sirius asks not trying to deny it since he has been down that road before and knew that he would not win the fight.
"It is very obvious honestly you and your Gryffindors are not as smart and mysterious as you guys think. But, now you are going to have to face the issue at hand immediately. Now I thin-" Regulus was saying which Sirius was intently listening to though would never give Regulus the pride knowing that Sirius desperately needed to know but one of Regulus's friends shouted out to him. It was Barty Crouch Junior. Then he heard Remus's voice talking to Effie. God fucking damn it, was all that went through Sirius Black's mind.

Remus just about died when he read Sirius's message about how he had a crush on Barty too. But then he wouldn't respond to Remus at all. Remus was not in fact alarmed about this. When he had first kissed Remus for the first time when they both had gotten too drunk Sirius had somehow within the hour of waking up and having a hangover had literally moved out of the dorm into Regulus's dorm for 6 months. Grant it they did talk about it on month 4 but he couldn't stand being within the same dorm as him for too long. Of course, there was a time when he first said that he loved Remus and didn't go to classes or leave Regulus's room for a month. It would probably have gone on longer if Professor McGonagall didn't go down and dragged him back up to the dorm. Last school year was a time. So, after the shock and joy that Sirius to had feelings for Barty determined he probably would not talk until they saw each other again. This is how Remus had been pushed into James's closet because Remus had snook to the Potter's house to talk about what was going on with both of them they neither could talk to Sirius about. But James was not there so he was waiting.
Finally, after what seemed to be forever James came into the room and opened the closet to find Remus.
"Hey, Moony," James whispers and casts mufflato so they would not be disturbed. Remus sighs in relief and leaves the closet. The irony does not leave him considering they are both going to talk about boys. Specifically for Remus, Sirius, and Remus, and for the case of James it is Evan and Regulus. "So, Sirius still has not talked to you?" James asks, after the multiple stunts of last year with Sirius James and Remus had gotten closer and Remus was able to help James ask out Evan who is both going steady and want to add another to the romance. Loop? What does one call it? Note to self look into what the term is for a couple wanting to add a third into their relationship. Remus shook his thoughts out of his head.
"Of course not. This is normal Sirius Black behavior that has to deal with emotions. Especially ones that dealt with any sort of affection. Well, this might just be a loveless pureblood one. Remember when Reggie literally hid in his room for a week after Effie first hugged him?" Remus said and James nodded and gave a love-sick sigh.
"Yes, I do. He looked like a flower that finally got sunlight after only having been in artificial light." James said with an amount of wistfulness that he sounded like a lovesick fool that has never been in love before. "It was almost as a perfect moment as when I first hugged Evan."
"Yeah yeah, you are so in love with both of them. What are you guys doing about the whole Regulus crush you share?" Remus asks, which had the motive of 2 things. 1. It would be nice to know what other people do with a mutual crush. 2. Be there for one of his best friends.
"Well. me and Evan are planning on trying to you know put the moves on him and ask him out. And if he wants to join us then we are all going to be dating each other." James replies and sounds excited about what he is saying which he undoubtedly is.
"And Evan along with yourself are completely fine with this?" Remus asks out of curiosity that he could not help.
"Yes? Why wouldn't we be?" James asks extremely confused about the question that Remus was asking and amused that he was trying to ask him something else in a roundabout way. Or Remus was just losing his mind slightly.
"Um well I mean, you and Evan are dating,"
"Yes."
"And you both like Regulus in a romantic way."
"Yes."
"You both want to date him."
"Yes."
"But you are dating each other?"
"Yes, Remus I am confused about what you are talking about."
"I mean aren't you concerned about the fact that you are romantically involved with 2 different people? Like, are you not worried about Evan and you dating Regulus and each other than you like fall out of love with one of them because you are dating the other?"
"No, because I love them both and have romantic feelings for both of them. Just because I could be dating both of them does not mean that each of them is special in my heart. If we all put forth the same amount of effort and affection and everyone is on the same page about each other and what we want why would we not?"
"How do you know that you are on the same page about what you want?"
"Well we talked about it" James replied laughing but then suddenly realizes that Remus was not laughing too. "Moony are you implying that you and Sirius have never talked about your relationship and what you want from it?"
The silence from Remus was all that James needed.
"MOONY!"
That was all a week ago before he got to see Sirius and this past week Remus thought about what he wanted and that was the opportunity to date Barty of course is Sirius was fine with just Remus also pursuing Barty or both of them doing it. It was time for them to finally talk about it.
After so long there were Sirius and Regulus along with Barty. Sirius looked scared like he saw the ghost of his mother. His eyes went from Remus to Barty back to Remus back to Barty. Remus looked at him and smiled trying to tell Sirius that he was fine with it and Sirius seemed to get the hint. Barty and Regulus started talking and walking away. James was somewhere with Evan and Effie had vanished as if she knew that Remus was trying to talk to Sirius about something very important. Remus would not be surprised if that was the case.
"Hey, Sirius let's go talk," Remus says and Sirius nods. They walk to Florean and Fortescue's and the conversation was nice and sweet. They both got some ice cream and sat down at one of the tables.
"So, Barty, huh?" Remus says and Sirius can't help the snort that came out at the response.
"Yep. So, what about…" Sirius asks and just waves around. Remus thought it comforted Sirius just not saying it out loud. Which probably makes it more real for Sirius.
"Well, I have a crush on Barty too," Remus says and Sirius looks shocked at the response. "Which you would know if you even read my responses. Geez, I excepted you at least read them. Don't look guilty, I am just joking with you. Anyways, so I was thinking that we try to, I don't know ask Barty out. Since we both like him and why not? I mean unless Barty is not down, what do you think?"
"Yes,"

Barty saw Regulus and just wanted to hug him immediately on site. So, he doing the natural thing of calling out his friend's name. Now you may be thinking why Barty is acting as if this is something to be mourned over. Well, I guess most of you don't have a crush on your best friend's older brother who was right next to him and you can barely stand being near for long feeling as though he is about to spill his guts about everything he felt that would ruin his friendship with his best friend. Then again not everyone can be Barty Crouch Jr.
Thankfully Aphrodite decided not to play with his feelings anymore. Or maybe the expression would be using him as a doll in a house. Or- wait we are getting off-topic let's back to the crisis averted. Then Remus (who was looking equally beautiful that day in that nice sweater and shoes) walked over and took him away so Barty was in the clear, for now.
"Barty!" Regulus says happily to (as much as Regulus would allow himself to act in front of other people, especially in public) Barty and they go in for a short hug. But dear Merlin did Regulus squeeze him tight in that short hug. Barty could have sworn that he could have died if it went on any longer. "It has been too long!"
"It really has." Barty nodded along and then someone spoke up that caught both of them off guard.
"Didn't you guys see each other 2 weeks ago?" Evan asks as he had suddenly appeared with James holding his hand. Barty had no clue when or why they started dating late last school year. Something about having a moment in the library and scaring James shitless then kept on talking after that. But his other best friend seemed happy so he didn't ask any questions, just gave James a threat.
"Evan! There you are!" Barty says also giving Evan a hug which almost took them down together (along with James but Evan saw his plan and snatched his hand away) but Evan has balanced them so that wouldn't happen. This was normal for Barty to act like so Evan had practiced it a lot.
"Hey Barty," Evan said with the wind knocked out of him slightly. While this happening James walked to Regulus and asked "Is this normal?" To which Regulus replied with "Yep." Barty didn't notice but Evan did and shot them a look and the 2 in question looked at him innocently. Well, James did that Regulus glared at Evan which was his personal innocent look in public. Which did not give Evan a bit of an in-love expression. When Barty saw that he looked quickly between the 2 which Regulus thought was in confusion but it was in fact realized way too quickly to be humanly possible (in Evans's opinion) that James and Evan had a thing for Regulus. Barty also noticed that Regulus, the usual observant self was oblivious to the whole thing. With Regulus's history (that being one time Barty tried to confess to Regulus in their 4th year and took a month to realize what it meant. Then they did make out. Oh Morgana Le Fay that made it weirder that he is into Regulus's older brother.) it's all tracked.
"Sorry James but we are going to have to take your boyfriend away. We have not been able to talk in 2 weeks which means that a lot has happened and we all must know it all. We will give him back to you in say half an hour to an hour. Okay? Bye." Barty said leaving a confused James and taking Evan and Regulus by the hand so they could find somewhere to talk. All of them this summer have been guilty of not being consistent on letters but this year they honestly haven't seen each other as often, and there were certain things one cannot put in a letter and are better expressed in person for multiple reasons. Yes, this was the time to catch up on everything.
