Mariah had traveled for a month and finally arrived at the border of Israel. Her body clad in her armor which, to avoid any unwanted attention, she draped with a cloak. The reactions from the crew of the ship a constant reminder to remain low key. With a heart filled with triumph, she walks up the hills with a purpose to behold the magnificent capital. At the top of the last hill, she gasps with horror and surprise as the city was consumed in flames and wreckage. The screams of people trying to escape the chaotic blaze filled the air.

Mariah hastened to the city to defend and assist in any way possible. On her way, she encounters a battalion of black-clothed soldiers attacking and injuring innocent citizens. Mariah charged towards them with her sword in hand. She cuts through the soldiers with ease as she utilized her unmatched strength and agility to dodge any counterattacks with ease.

Even though her progress was slowed down by the many enemies that attacked her, she still managed to get to the city's square. There, standing before her, was a fearsome hulking beast with a flaming eye like that of the cyclops. Her shock at the sight of the creature was transient as she charged towards it, fearlessly striking at it with her sword. The once beautiful creature was armored and had strong defenses making it a challenge for any mortal to defeat. Despite this, Mariah did not retreat, she relentlessly attacked the creature, hoping to find a weak spot.

The moment finally came when the creature roared and opened its neck's armor, presenting a vulnerability. Mariah did not hesitate as she lunged forward, hacking deeply into the monster's neck. The creature bellowed in pain as it thrashed around trying in vain to counter the devastating blow. In the end, the creature fell with a resounding boom, defeated in one swift stroke from Mariah.

Mariah stood before a fallen foe. With a look of satisfaction etched upon her face, she turned away, heading toward the sound of screams. For she knew that more people still remained trapped, held captive by black-clad soldiers within the city.

With a strong and determined gait, Mariah made her way through the crowded streets, her sword at the ready. She moved forward with purpose, taking out enemy after enemy with grace and skill.

Mariah came upon a group of towns guard, struggling valiantly to defend a group of citizens. They were outnumbered and outmatched, their efforts all in vain.

Without hesitation, Mariah took a running leap, soaring over the enemy soldiers and landing between them and the towns guard. Her sword at the ready, she moved forward with a deft grace, blocking and dodging the enemy's attacks.

One by one, the enemy soldiers fell, until the citizens emerged from their hiding places, believing it to be safe. They moved slowly and cautiously, unsure of what they might encounter. But as the crowd stood around Mariah, quiet and awestruck, a man stepped forward from the crowd and dropped to his knee, bowing before her.

One by one, the rest of the crowd followed suit, bowing in respect and admiration for the warrior who had saved them all. And as they rose to their feet, cheering and applauding, Mariah found herself faced with a figure full of strength and dignity - a leader of men.

He approached her with a look of respect in his eyes, bowing his head in recognition of her bravery and prowess on the battlefield. Mariah was taken aback by his gesture, but she remained silent, her heart swelling with pride.

The din of the crowd slowly fades as the earth begins to shake beneath their feet. The trembling grows more violent by the moment, making men and women alike fall to the ground with a thud. Suddenly, the ground parts and a great object drops from above with such force that it creates a veil of dust that envelopes the surroundings.

As the confusion and disorientation grows, a great fireball erupts from the dust cloud, racing towards the panicking people. But from out of nowhere, Mariah steps forward, ready to protect the people. In a blur of motion, she runs towards the crowd and catches the blazing orb, summoning all her power to hold it at bay.

Mariah's brow furrows with strain and her muscles bulge with effort as she struggles to control the blazing might. Her heart thunders in her chest as she feels the searing heat beginning to burn through her hands. But she will not be deterred; she digs her feet into the ground and draws upon her deepest reserves of strength.

Finally, with a mighty roar of fury, Mariah musters every last bit of energy and hurls the fiery missile back at the source of this chaos. As the blazing projectile flies through the air, it smashes into the dust cloud, scattering it to the winds. And there, revealed in the clearing dust, stands the man responsible for this sudden attack.

The man's eyes glowed with a malevolent, sorcerous light, and Mariah knew that she was up against a powerful adversary. She squared her shoulders and focused her will, meeting the man's gaze with a gaze of her own. They stood there for a moment, locked in a fierce stare-down, each sizing up the other's strength and resolve.

The man unsheathed his sword, the glint of steel reflecting off his red eyes. He pointed the blade towards Mariah with a sinister smirk, advancing forward with a terrible grace. Mariah raised her own sword, ready to meet his attack head-on.

With a speed that belied his bulky frame, the man swung his sword at Mariah's head, aiming to take her down in a single deadly blow. But Mariah was no fool, and quickly raised her own blade to block the attack, the force of it nearly sending her to her knees.

Their weapons clashed again and again, the sound of steel against steel echoing across the battlefield. Sparks flew as their swords met in a deadly dance of death, each fighting for the upper hand. Mariah knew that this was no ordinary foe; his strength threatened to break through her defenses at any moment.

As the battle continued, their great swords clashed against each other in a fierce and endless dance - the sound of steel upon steel rang out across the battlefield, striking fear into the hearts of those who watched on. Though Mariah was no stranger to battle, she knew that man was unlike any other foe she had ever faced.

Despite her best efforts, the mans strength threatened to overwhelm her at every turn - his blows were relentless, and Mariah could feel her defenses starting to buckle under the pressure. But still she fought on, determined to triumph over this formidable adversary.

As they continued to duel, Mariah's breath came in ragged gasps - her muscles ached and her heart pounded with exertion. But she refused to give up, knowing that the fate of her people rested on her ability to defeat him.

Suddenly, he spoke - his voice low and dangerous, his red eyes gleaming with an otherworldly light. "Gabriel Neylan," he said, offering Mariah his name.

Surprised and taken aback, Mariah gasped out in disbelief. "What?" she exclaimed, her sword held tightly in her hand.

"My name is Gabriel Neylan," he repeated, a cruel smile forming on his lips as he continued to press the attack.

Despite her shock, Mariah knew that she could not let down her guard - Gabriel was cunning and unrelenting, and she needed to be on her toes if she was to have any chance of defeating him. Steeling herself for the fight ahead, she gritted her teeth and renewed her attack.

Mariah fought with all her might, blocking and dodging Gabriel's attacks with all the skill and wit she could muster. But despite her best efforts, Gabriel seemed to be one step ahead of her at every turn. With a look of annoyance on his face, he suddenly flashed forward with incredible speed, knocking Mariah's blade from her hand and sending it clattering to the ground.

Before Mariah could react, Gabriel lashed out with a powerful blow to her gut - the force of which sent her sprawling onto the hard ground, her body wracked with pain. She tried to get back up, struggling to fight through the agony that threatened to consume her, but her strength was failing her. With a heavy heart, Mariah knew that the end was near.

Her vision blurred and her breaths coming in ragged gasps, Mariah looked up into Gabriel's face - his features twisted into a cruel grin. With a final burst of adrenaline, Mariah mustered what was left of her strength, and with a defiant glare, faced Gabriel before she passed out.

As Mariah lay there helpless on the ground, Gabriel stood over her, the victor of the battle. But though he may have won the fight, he had not broken Mariah's spirit. Though her body may have been battered and broken, her heart still burned with an unquenchable flame - a flame that would continue to burn, even in the darkest of times. And though Gabriel may have won the battle, he knew deep down that he had not seen the last of Mariah - for even in defeat, she remained a fierce warrior, and a force to be reckoned with.

Gabriel cast his gaze upon Mariah, his smirk forming upon his lips. But then, with a sudden turn, he diverted his eyes away from her. And in that moment he disappeared into nothingness, a thick plume of smoke rising in his wake.
