After Frodo left Lucy and Gandalf at the carriage, they both got off and went through this gate. Lucy looked around the area, "Wow this is very well-done gardening here," she says. Gandalf didn't pay attention to Lucy, he just knocked on the door and there was a voice, "No thank you, I don't want any welcoming or distant relation," the voice said. Gandalf laughed, "what about very old friends and newcomer," he asked.
The door opens and an old man, short like Frodo Baggins look up and smiles, "Gandalf," he asked. They both laugh and they hug each other, "Come on in, and who is this young lady, a new adventure that needs to be saving," he asked. Lucy formerly introduced to herself, "My name is Lucy Pevensie, I am from a different world," she says. He bowed, "My name is Bilbo Baggins, I am the uncle of Frodo Baggins," he says. She smiles small and then they walk into the house.
Lucy looks around and she is fantasizing about everything, "Everything is so small for them, that is very cool," she says. Bilbo smiled and he look around, "Shall I make some tea and eggs for you guys," he asked. Gandalf smiled, and he bumped into the light, "Just tea thank you," he says as he stopped the chandelier from swinging. They both go through the hallway and Lucy look around as Gandalf look at a map that Bilbo had for a long time. Bilbo came into the living room, "I can make you some eggs if you guys like," he says. Gandalf smiled, "Just tea, thank you," he says. Bilbo nodded and he looked at Lucy, "Come on, tea will be ready in a bit, you can tell me about all your adventures," he says. They all walk to the dining table and Lucy starts telling where she is from and all her adventures.
Bilbo got shocked, "Wow that is very interesting of where you came from, I say this land is a magical land with all kinds of creatures, and especially they all talk," he says. Lucy nods, "Yeah and we have centaurs, leopards, cheetahs, unicorns, talking squirrels, mouses, and beavers and birds," she says. Gandalf smiles at Lucy and Bilbo smiled too, "We have a talking dragon, but he died a long time ago in the misty mountains," he says. Lucy's eyes got wide and stuff. Bilbo then look at Gandalf, "I been getting old lately, there is always these parties every day and I can't get enough of peace," he says as he put a finger in his pocket as Gandalf notices. Lucy notices Gandalf's face and she shrugged it off. Bilbo sighs, "Never mind about that, I want to see mountains and I want to live with the elves," he says as he looked out the window, "I miss all the adventures that I took," he says. Gandalf nodded, "This will be a night to remember," he says.
The start of the party, everyone was having fun drinking, and dancing. Frodo was dancing while everyone was laughing the way he dances. Gandalf went to get the fireworks for the kids to enjoy and there were two young boys that came out of the tent. The first boy nudge at his friend. The second boy went up to the carriage to find a firework that is nearby. He picked one up, "No no, the big one," the boy that wasn't in the carriage said. The other one found a firework that look like a dragon. They both smiled and ran away from the carriage.
They went inside the tent, and they light up the firework. The young boy looks at his friends, "Now, stick it to the ground," he says. The other one argued, "It is in the ground," he says. They both argue until the firework went up to the tent that went to the sky They both got shocked as it went up to the sky.
The firework went up and exploded and came out a dragon. Everyone got happy to see it until the dragon was about to flew towards the hobbits. They all scream and run for their lives. They knocked down tables and chairs just to get away from the dragon, "Bilbo, watch out for the dragon," Frodo yelled. Bilbo was walking, "Nonsense, there hasn't been a dragon for a thousand years," he says as they both duck out of the way. The dragon flew over their heads, and it turn into a sparkler and then it blew up in the sky to make an awesome firework. Everyone clapped and laughed. Lucy smiled and laughed to herself as that was funny.
The two young boys that were burnt from the firework looked at everyone and they laughed, "That was fun, let's get another one," the first boy said as both ears were being pinched by Gandalf, "Meridoc Brandybuck and Perigrin Took, I should have known," he says. They both groan in pain and regret.
Lucy was walking around enjoying everyone's company and she sees Frodo. She runs towards him, "Frodo, we meet again," she says. He turns around, and waves, "It's you again, are you enjoying the party Lucy, " he asked. She nods and he looks around, "I see my friend, I'll be right back I'll have him meet you, he is my best friend," he says as he ran to his friend. She smiles and wait for him.
Frodo sat right next to his friend, "Sam, come on and enjoy the fun," he says. Sam looks at a girl he has a crush on, and Frodo laughs, "Come on, you should meet the girl that I met today," he says. Sam looked at Frodo, and notices Lucy hanging out in the distance waiting for Frodo, "That girl, you like her don't you," Sam asked. Frodo got shocked at Sam, "No I don't like her like that, we just met," Frodo says. Sam laughed and Frodo pushed Sam towards the girl he is crushing on, and he dances with her. Frodo laughs and the music stops.
Bilbo stands in front of everyone. Everyone chants speech to him, and Bilbo smiled, "Today is my 111th birthday," he yelled. Everyone said happy birthday to him. Bilbo look at everyone sadly, "But to be honest, I don't have very much time left, I will be leaving all of you and living somewhere in a distant land," he says. Everyone looks at each other sadly, and Bilbo keep talking to everyone, "I want to bid everyone farewell," he says as he looked his nephew's eyes. Lucy looks sad and Bilbo sighs, "Good-bye," he says as he disappeared into thin air. Everyone got shocked including Frodo, and Lucy. Gandalf look at the distance speechless.
Back at Bilbo's house, Bilbo appeared out of thin air and laughed. He flipped the ring over and put in his pocket. He went to his living room, grabbing everything he can for his journey. Gandalf appeared out of nowhere, "That was a very fool of you for doing that, that one ring shouldn't be used of any source," he says. Bilbo got shocked, "You gave me a scare Gandalf, it was just a prank, no one got hurt," he says. Gandalf stared seriously at Bilbo, "Oh alright, I am sorry for doing that, I thought it was funny, but no one can understand these days. You will look after Frodo will you," he asked. Gandalf nodded, "With my own two eyes, as long as I can spare one of them," he says. Bilbo sighed, "I am leaving everything to him," he says. Gandalf look at Bilbo sternly, "What about this ring of yours, is it staying too," he asked. Bilbo nodded, "Yes, but why shouldn't I keep it," he asked. Gandalf shakes his head, "There will be too far of a danger for you, how would Frodo feel," he asked. Bilbo nodded, and he open the front door and was about to walk out. Gandalf stared at him, "Bilbo, you forgot to leave the ring," he says. Bilbo nodded and dropped the ring and walked out. Gandalf watched him leave, "Farewell Gandalf, for another time," he says. Gandalf waved to Bilbo as he leaves.
