6 Incredible Heroes Times 2

Heroes or Zeroes

It was Friday morning and Hiro was his room packing his bags while Baymax watched him, standing on his charger.

Hiro stopped packing for a moment as he smiled at Baymax as he joked, "We're going on a trip. Better pack your toothbrush."

Baymax stared at him as he simply said, "I do not have teeth."

Hiro showed an amused smile as he said, "It's just a joke Baymax."

He went back to packing his bags when Cass came up and smiled as she said, "Oh hey! There you to are."

Hiro smiled at her as he put some clothes in his suitcase and said, "Hey Aunt Cass."

Baymax waved his hand in a circular motion as he said, "Hello."

She waved at Baymax and then looked at Hiro as she smiled awkwardly and said, "So, packing up for your big trip tomorrow?"

Hiro put some more clothes inside as he said, "Yep."

She smiled nervously as she said, "You know, you don't have to go if you don't want to. Just because your friends are going doesn't mean you have to. You can stay home with me and Mochi if you want."

Hiro turned back to her and smiled as he said, "No, I'm going. I'm definitely going. There's no way I'm missing out on this."

Cass grew more nervous as she kept smiling and said, "You sure? I know it's a big opportunity for you but I'm sure another one will come."

Hiro smiled happily as he put his thumb on his chest, then looked cocky while he said, "The Baxcorp Technology Expo is huge! I have to go and represent SFIT as college in the country. And besides, they're building the future. How could I not be a part of it?"

Cass forced herself to keep smiling as she uncomfortably said, "Yeah, that's true. With your big brain they can't lose."

She kept staring at him and Hiro smiled as he said, "I know you don't want me to go."

Cass finally dropped the act as she walked forward and frantically said, "I know it's a big deal, but it's in Metroville. It's such a big city!"

Hiro smiled as he said, "So's San Fransokyo."

Cass was still nervous as she said, "Yeah but it's so far away, and you get yourself in trouble here a lot too. And you'll be gone for a whole week! A lot can happen in that time!"

Hiro raised his hands as he calmly said, "Aunt Cass, I'll be fine."

Cass did not change her tone as she asked, "What if something happens to you?!"

Hiro smiled as he put his hands on his chest then moved his left hand toward Baymax as he said, "I'll have Fred, Heather, Marcus, and Ethel to help me out. And I'll also have Baymax too."

They looked at Baymax as he said, "Yes Aunt Cass. It is true. I will protect Hiro from any potential hazards."

She looked back at Hiro, she was still nervous as she surrendered and pointed at him and said, "Alright fine! But I'll be checking on you every day, and you'd better answer me!"

Hiro smiled as he complied and said, "I will Aunt Cass. I promise."

She then hugged him as she shut her eyes lovingly and he smiled as he hugged her back while Baymax watched.

Later at West View High in Metroville

Violet was sitting at a lunch table outside with Kari and Lyla sitting next to her as Violet studied her algebra textbook.

Suddenly they heard someone call out, "Hey girls."

They looked to see Tony Rydinger and two friends of his walking toward them as they sat down across from them.

Violet showed a friendly smile as she said, "Oh hey Tony."

Tony noticed her textbook and said, "Still studying hard for that test?"

Violet was not confident as she stared at her book and said, "Yeah, and I'm still not feeling good about it."

Tony nodded as he empathized and said, "Yeah, I know what you mean Vi. Algebra's really hard for me too."

One of his friends nodded as he said, "Yeah, me too."

Tony's other friend smiled as he said, "Hey, did you guys here about what happened yesterday?"

The girls looked at him as Lyla curiously said, "What?"

The boy smiled as he happily said, "The Incredibles stopped a bank robbery!"

Violet smiled as she said, "Oh yeah. I heard about that. It was really cool."

Tony smiled as he happily said, "I heard the bad guy's name was El Toro."

Violet smiled as she nodded and said, "Yeah, he was some guy in a mechanical bull suit."

Kari smiled as she eagerly said, "I heard the baby somehow beat him."

Violet smiled and glanced up as she said, "Yeah, I think he got inside the guy's suit and hurt him or something."

Lyla smiled as she excitedly said, "Yeah! And then Incredigirl and the Incredible Dash used their powers to take him down!"

One of Tony's friends smiled as he happily said, "That's awesome!"

Just then, Larry walked up to their table and disdainfully said, "Are you guys talking about that family of superheroes again?"

Violet immediately got uncomfortable as she stared into her book while Tony and his friends all groaned in an annoyance.

Tony looked away as he said, "Hi Larry."

Larry glanced at Tony before looking at everyone as he said, "Tony. Why are you guys wasting your time on those stupid Incredibles. Who cares about some family of supers?"

One of Tony's friends glared at Larry as he said, "Hey! Don't talk about them that way! They're awesome!"

Tony's other friend agreed as he said, "Yeah!"

Larry was not amused as he folded his arms and said, "No they're not. So they stopped a guy from robbing a bank. Big deal. A cop could do that."

Tony glared at Larry as he said, "Hey! Superheroes are amazing."

Kari smiled as she spoke up and said, "Speaking of which, have you guys heard about that team of superheroes in San Fransokyo?"

Violet immediately got interested as she said, "Big Hero 6?"

Kari smiled and nodded as she said, "Yeah! That's them."

Tony became interested as he said, "Yeah, I heard about those guys. What about them?"

Kari smiled as she happily said, "I heard that two days ago they beat some villain with electrical powers."

Tony and his friends were amazed as Tony said, "Really?"

One of his friends smiled in excitement as he said, "That's awesome!"

Larry was annoyed as they kept talking and Tony's other friend said, "They're so cool! They don't have powers but they do some awesome things!"

Violet smiled as she nodded and said, "Yeah, they're really cool and they've got some great skills."

Larry looked at Violet as he curiously asked, "How do you know?"

Violet stuttered briefly before she smiled and replied, "Last spring I saw them in action when my family and I took a vacation to San Fransokyo."

Kari leaned closer as she exclaimed, "You saw Big Hero 6 in person?!"

Violet smiled as she nodded and one of Tony's friends happily said, "Whoa! That's awesome!"

Violet smiled as she happily said, "Yeah, they're really cool! Wasabi's plasma blades can cut through anything, Go Go is really fast and tough, Honey Lemon's chemical balls are awesome, and Fredzilla can kick as hard as he can jump. The robot Red Panda can do some really coo things too, and Captain Hero is awesome!"

Kari stared at the sky as she fawned and said, "Captain Hero… He can save my life anytime."

Violet smiled while the others chuckled in amusement, except Larry who bitterly said, "Oh get your head out of the clouds. Those newbie heroes are a bunch of losers too."

All six kids glared at him as Kari said, "Hey! Big Hero 6 are amazing!"

One of Tony's friends pointed his finger as he said, "Yeah! And so are the Incredibles!"

Larry held his hands up as he looked at them with disdain and said, "Big Hero 6? Incredibles? They're all the same. You think superheroes do all this to help people but really they just do it for the fame and glory. Things were better during the ban. Superheroes are just attention hogs, stealing the spotlight from people who really deserve it."

Tony was annoyed as he said, "Like your dad?"

Larry smiled egotistically before showing disdain again while he said, "Yeah! Like my dad! People like him should be getting all the fame and attention but superheroes come along and steal the glory. They're not even that great, people only like them for their powers, gadgets, and costumes. Without those no one would like them. You know why people like superheroes? Because they're superficial."

Violet contained her anger as she kept her mouth shut and turned back to her textbook while Lyla said, "Don't you have something better to do Larry?"

Larry smiled cockily as he pulled out his phone and said, "Now that you mention it, yes."

He then turned on his game "Mind Smith II Turbo" and was challenged by "Big Hiro" as he said, "Yes! Big Hiro! You got lucky last time, but this time I'm gonna take you down!"

He smiled with determination as he played his game hard but lost as his jaw dropped in shock and he stormed off and yelled in fury.

Once he was gone one of Tony's friends smiled at the others as he said, "I don't know who 'Big Hiro' is but anyone who can do that to Larry is cool in my book."

The others chuckled when the bell rang and they all got up with their stuff and went back inside.

Meanwhile at Dash's school

Dash had just finished his lunch but took too long as the bell had rung and he was about to be late for class as he entered the hallway. The bell was going to ring any second, so he quickly looked around to make sure no one was watching him. He then used his superspeed and dashed through the hallways as he made it to his classroom and stopped right outside the door. He then walked in just before the bell rang and he saw his teacher Bernie Kropp looking down at him with his eyes narrowed.

Dash looked up at him nervously as Mr. Kropp pointed at a desk and said, "Perfect timing. Just before the bell. Now sit down."

Dash walked to his desk and sat down as Mr. Kropp told everyone to get to work, then when he turned around everyone noticed a paper sign on his back that read "I'm stupid". The kids laughed until he turned around while Dash chuckled until Mr. Kropp glared at him suspiciously. Mr. Kropp then pointed two of his fingers at his own eyes before pointing them at Dash as he kept glaring suspiciously at him.

Later back at West View High

All the students had been let out of class as Violet waited for her dad to come pick her up hiding by the wall of the school.

She looked around with a tense expression as she nervously said, "Come on dad! Hurry up! I want to get out of here before he shows up!"

Just then she smiled as she saw Bob pull up in front of the school with Dash and Jack-Jack riding in the backseats.

Violet was relieved as she ran for the car and opened the door get inside; she sat down and was about to close it when suddenly it stopped.

She looked to see Larry standing in front of her, holding the car door open as he smiled slyly and said, "Hey Violet, where's the fire?"

Violet smiled uncomfortably as she said, "Just eager to get home. I've got a lot of homework to do."

Larry kept smiling at her slyly until Bob looked at him and sternly said, "I'm sorry, who are you?"

Larry looked at him and smiled respectfully as he said, "Oh hi. You must be her dad. I'm Larry Baxter."

Bob glared at him with disapproval as he said, "Oh yeah. She told me about you."

Larry then looked past Violet and saw Dash and Jack-Jack and said, "And who are these two."

Violet uncomfortably introduced Dash as she said, "This is my little brother Dash."

Dash smiled teasingly at Violet as he said, "So you're the boy she's been talking about."

Larry smiled egotistically as he looked at Violet and said, "Last time I checked."

Violet glared at him before putting her hand on Jack-Jack's shoulder and said, "And this is my baby brother Jack-Jack."

Larry leaned closer as he wagged his finger at Jack-Jack and said, "Well aren't you the cutest little…"

He was interrupted when Jack-Jack bit his finger and he cried in pain as he pulled his hand back as Dash chuckled.

Larry held his finger in pain as he said, "He's got some sharp teeth!"

Violet spoke apologetically as she said, "Sorry, he's kind of a biter."

Larry forced a smile as he leaned toward Jack-Jack again and said, "That's okay. He's just a little baby. He doesn't know what he's…"

Jack-Jack then threw a block at Larry's head and he pulled his head back as he yelled, "Ow!"

Violet picked up the block and put it back while Jack-Jack made angry baby noises as he looked at Larry.

Larry held his head in pain as he showed an annoyed expression as he said, "Strong for a baby. I'll uh… I'll see you around Violet."

He walked away and Violet waved to him as she smiled and said, "Okay, bye."

She quickly shut the car door and buckled up as she sighed in relief and rubbed Jack-Jack's head as she said, "He's harder to get rid of than bank robbers. Thanks for the help Jack-Jack."

Jack-Jack giggled happily while Bob drove and glanced at Violet while he said, "Yeah I can see why you don't like that boy, he seems like a bad influence."

Violet nodded in agreement as she said, "I'll say! He's got a problem with superheroes. He thinks we just help people for the fame."

Bob was offended as he said, "What?!"

Dash also looked offended as he said, "That's not true!"

Violet nodded as she said, "Yeah, he thinks we're superficial and that people only like us for our powers and costumes."

Bob raised his finger as he said, "Okay, you are definitely not going to Homecoming with him!"

Violet looked out the window as she said, "You don't have to tell me twice."

Later that night in San Fransokyo

Hiro and his friends were eating dinner in the Lucky Cat Café while Baymax stood behind them and watched them.

Cass had already served all of their food as Honey Lemon happily cooed, "Tomorrow's the big day!"

Fred smiled as he pointed at her and said, "Yep, tomorrow we all leave for Metroville."

Cass smiled nervously before leaning toward the others as she said, "Yeah. Exciting. All of you are going with him right?"

Honey Lemon smiled reassuringly as she said, "Oh yeah. Everything will be great."

Wasabi smiled as he said, "Yeah, I've made a list of every possible emergency that could occur and the best way to survive it."

Go Go leaned back in her chair as she smiled and said, "He'll be fine. Relax."

Hiro smiled up at her as he said, "You see Aunt Cass. There's nothing to worry about."

She tried to calm down as she said, "You're right. You're right. Sorry I guess I'm just a little nervous is all. You are going to call me right."

Hiro showed an annoyed expression as he said, "Yes."

Fred then pointed at the TV and said, "Whoa! Look!"

They all looked at the TV and watched as it showed a news report about the Incredibles defeating El Toro's bank heist.

Hiro smiled at his aunt as he pointed his thumb at the TV and said, "You see? Metroville's also got superheroes protecting it. Everything will be fine."

Cass started to calm down as she smiled and said, "Yeah. I guess you're right. Metroville does have superheroes that keep it safe just like Big Hero 6 is always here to keep us safe."

Hiro smiled awkwardly as he said, "Exactly."

Cass turned and walked out and Hiro turned to the others as he nervously said, "Guys, I just thought of something. Will San Fransokyo be okay while we're gone."

Fred smiled with a relaxed expression as he said, "Don't worry, my dad told me he's gonna look after the city while we're gone."

Hiro was unsure as he asked, "Are you sure he can handle that Fred?"

Honey Lemon also looked uncertain as she said, "Yeah, your dad's in great shape but hasn't really fought any crime in years."

Fred smiled cockily as he held his hands out and spread them out as he said, "Guys, relax. My dad is Boss Awesome. He can handle anything."

Go Go looked at him with an annoyed expression as she said, "Yeah."

Fred smiled as he pointed his thumb behind him and said, "And while we're gone Roddy will finally finish up our new secret lair."

Honey Lemon smiled as she excitedly said, "I can't wait to see what it looks like when it's finished!"

Hiro smiled with a relaxed expression as he said, "Yep, for the next week we're gonna be show everyone in the country that SFIT is the future."

Baymax looked down at Hiro as he said, "SFIT is a university, the future has not happened yet."

Hiro looked at Baymax as he said, "It was just a metaphor Baymax."

Baymax stared into space and then looked back at him and said, "I do not understand metaphors."

Hiro chose not to answer while the others just looked at Baymax, realizing that he is only a robot and did not understand some things.

Author's note: That's it for this chapter. I originally was going to have Big Hero 6 fight another villain in this chapter but I decided not to do that. I had this other idea for a villain to include in this story but after giving it some thought I decided to drop it. Please review.
