It was morning outside of Bree. Strider was leading Frodo and the others through the plains. Sam looks at Frodo, "How can we trust this Strider, do we even know where he is taking us," Sam asked. Strider looks at the distance, "To the House of Elrond my friend, Rivendell," Strider says. Sam got excited, "You hear that, Rivendell, we're going to see the Elves," he says. Lucy got shocked, "Are Elves tall or short like the stories," she asked. Strider looks at Lucy, "They are tall, by the way. I have never known what your name is young Lady. What is a young lady doing with a bunch of Hobbits," he asked. She looked at Strider, "My name is Lucy Pevensie, I am not from your world. I am from a land called Narnia, I was sent here and well no need for courtesy," she says. He got confused, "Courtesy?" he asked. Frodo looks at Strider as he was walking right next to her, "She is a Queen in her world," he says. He got shocked and bows, "My apologies Lucy for being rude," he says. She shakes her head.
Pippin and Merry was sitting down and Strider look behind and see that all the Hobbits were sitting down. He sighed as he looked at Lucy, "We can't rest till nightfall, we need to find the watch tower for hideout, you guys just had breakfast," he says. Pippin sighed, "We had breakfast, what about second breakfast," he asked. Strider got confused and then he went ahead. Merry look at Pippin, "I don't think he knows what second breakfast is Pippin," he says as he walked ahead of him. Lucy looked at Pippin, "Merry is right, second breakfast isn't common for humans," she says. Frodo laughs and then walks ahead. Apples were being thrown in the air and Pippin catches them. Merry sighed and then another apple hits Pippin in the face.
They got to a huge tower in the distance and Strider looks at it, "This was once the watchtower of Amun Sol," he says to himself. Lucy looks at the tower and then sees a figure standing right on top of the tower. She couldn't make out who that figure was as she ran up to Strider, "Um I saw a mysterious figure up in that tower, are you sure that we want to go up there," she asked. He looks up and there was no one up there, "You must be seeing things," he says. She looked up and the figure wasn't there, "But I thought," she sighs. Frodo came up to her, "You okay Lucy," he asked. She sighed and looked at Frodo, "Yeah everything is fine," she says as she continued walking.
As soon as they got to a small part of the tower, Strider was looking around, "I am going to take a look around, make sure that we aren't spotted, you guys take these," he says as he showed everyone weapons. Frodo took a sword and then Lucy looks at her sword, "It's light for me which is perfect," she says. Strider disappears and then they all look around.
Dark descends onto the tower, and Frodo and Lucy were asleep except for Sam, Pippin and Merry. Frodo heard conversation and then he got up and see the three Hobbits lit a fire, and he got shocked, "Put it out you fools," he yelled. Pippin got mad, "Oh that's nice, ashes on my tomatoes," he says.
Suddenly there was a screech in the distance.
Lucy got up and she look around. She whipped out her sword, "Let's go, get to the top of the tower," she says. Frodo, Sam, Pippin, and Merry got their swords out and they ran up to the tower. Lucy runs behind them and makes sure that she could protect them. Frodo looks behind, "Lucy we got to protect you," he says. She gets angry, "No I can take care of myself, you have to be protected you got the ring with you," she says. He sighs and grabs her hand. She blushes and they got to the top of the tower.
They gathered around as Lucy protects everyone. Frodo looks at Lucy, "There is no way you can fight all the Ring Wraiths by yourself," Frodo says. Lucy ignored Frodo, "I got this, I can't be sitting around trying to be safe. I want to help," she says. Frodo yelled at Lucy, "No I can't have you killed, I can't lose you," he yelled. She looks at him and she blushed, "What do you mean," she asked.
As Frodo was about to say something, 5 Ring Wraiths came to the top of the tower surrounding them. Merry and Pippin gasped, "We are trapped, we can't run from them, they all have long swords, and we have short swords," Pippin says. Lucy looks at them, "Don't worry, we have to be strong, we can do this," she says.
They start swinging their sword and then Frodo did the same, but he fell, and he dropped his sword. He falls back and he got scared. The ring started talking and then he put the ring on. He disappeared and then he sees the Wraiths as ghost men. He looks around and then he tries to protect himself, and then all of a sudden. A force of someone trying to grab the ring as the Wraiths try to steal the ring. He pulled it back and then Frodo got stabbed on the shoulder. He screams in pain as he heard someone fighting the Wraiths.
Sam looked as a young boy in black hair and blue cloak was fighting against the Wraiths. Lucy recognizes the young boy, "Edmund," she says. Strider came up to help with the torch trying to burn all the Wraiths. They both fight.
Frodo remove the ring and Sam and Lucy gasped. They both ran to Frodo and Sam looked sad, "Frodo," he says. Lucy cried, and she groans, "I wish I had my healing vial with me, I could have healed you," she says as she holds his hand.
After the Wraiths ran away from the fire, Strider and Edmund look around as Sam yelled, "Strider," he called.
Strider came to Frodo, "He was stabbed by a Morgul blade," Strider says as the blade disappears on his hand. Strider then picks up Frodo, "This is my wound expertise to heal, he needs Elvish Medicine," he says.
They got down to the woods as they hear the screeches of the Wraiths nearby. Lucy ran right next to Edmund, "Edmund what are you doing here," she asked. Edmund didn't listen to Lucy, and he kept running.
They got to the troll woods, and Strider put Frodo down near the fire that Sam made, and Strider looks at Sam, "You know the plant Athelas," Strider asked. Sam nods, "Yes it's a weed," he says. Strider nods, "We have to look for it, it will slow the poisoning," he says. Sam went with Strider through the woods while Lucy, Edmund, Pippin and Merry stay with Frodo. Lucy looked at Edmund, "You guys, this is my brother Edmund, he is my older brother...you still didn't answer my question, what are you doing here," she asked. Merry looked at Edmund, "You must be a King too," Merry says. Edmund nods, "Sorry I didn't answer your question Lucy, as soon as I got to the castle, I notice you were gone, I went down to the beach saw your footprints. I went into the woods and saw the branches. A bright light brought me here but into a woods, the first thing I saw was you in the distance and then you were in trouble, and I needed to save you," he says. She got angry, "I don't need saving, I can take care of myself," she says.
Edmund was about to say something till Strider and Sam made it back. Strider put the plant in Frodo's wound, and he looks around. Strider looks at Lucy, "We are 6 days away from Rivendell there is no way that we are going to make it," he says.
Suddenly a voice was heard, "What's this, 4 Hobbits, and 2 men and 1 girl sitting in the wild, caught off their guard," a female voice says. They all look up and it was a female elf. Edmund's eyes got wide, and he blushes as he sees the most beautiful girl in the world, "Who are you," he asked. She looks down at him and she smiles. She looked at Frodo, "I been looking for him for a few days, there are 5 Wraiths behind all of you, the other 4 I have no idea where they are," she says to Edmund. Lucy looks at her, "Will you help Frodo, please?" she asked. The girl nodded, "I will take him to my father, he can help Frodo," she says as she picks up Frodo and puts him on her horse. Sam got excited, "She's an elf," he says. Lucy tried to go with the girl and Frodo, "I want to come to, I am worried about Frodo," she says. Strider holds Lucy back, "No your majesty, don't. Let Arwen take him, we will meet them there," he says to Lucy. She cries as the girl rode her horse through the woods. Edmund stares as she gracefully goes away and then Sam got scared, "What are you doing, those Wraiths are still out there Strider," he says. Strider looks at Sam, "We follow but we follow carefully to Rivendell," Strider says. They all nod, and they started running through the woods.
