The Red Menace

It was a bright and sunny morning at the Parr house as Violet happily ate breakfast with her family, ready for a good day.

As she ate her breakfast she happily said, "I can't believe Hiro's helping me study for my Algebra test. I think I really have a shot of passing now."

Dash smiled teasingly at Violet as he said, "Yeah, and maybe you and him will solve the equation for love!"

Violet glared at him with an annoyed expression but then brushed it off as she turned her attention back to her breakfast.

Helen smiled as she looked at Violet over her shoulder and said, "I'm sure you'll do great Violet, but it is really sweet of Hiro to help you study for your test."

Violet smiled again as she happily said, "Yeah. Hiro's a great friend."

Dash smiled slyly and noticed Helen showing a similar smile as she too could see the sparks between her daughter and the young genius.

Bob was reading the paper when he glanced at his family and urgently said, "Hey, listen to this. The mysterious new villain strikes again. Last night at 1:00 AM a ship came into dock carrying some kind of experimental laser cannon when that guy on the flying machine attacked and stole it."

The others looked concern as Dash said, "Whoa really?!"

Violet was troubled as she said, "That's not good."

Bob remained calm as he said, "The good news is the laser cannon has a short range and its blast isn't that powerful, so it can't cause too much trouble."

They sighed in relief as Helen said, "Well that's good to hear."

Violet looked at the rest of her family as she curiously said, "But if it's not that dangerous then why did they guy steal it?"

Helen looked at her watch and stood up as she seriously said, "I don't know, but I do know that that's nothing to think about now. You kids need to get to school. Come on, I'll drive you."

Violet and Dash got out of their seats and grabbed their stuff as they followed Helen while Bob watched Jack-Jack.

Meanwhile at Jordan Baxter's Penthouse

Jordan was working diligently on his computer when Larry came in and said, "Hey dad, I'm going to school."

Jordan glanced at him as he said, "Okay son. Do your best."

Larry smiled arrogantly as he said, "Oh I will, but not just on schoolwork. Today I start to work on winning Violet's heart. With only two days left to study for the algebra test she'll probably beg me to help her study. After that it'll be easy as 1, 2, 3!"

Jordan smiled as he said, "That's my boy."

Larry started walking toward the elevator but stopped and turned when Jordan seriously said, "Oh Larry, one more thing. Don't let anyone steal your girl. Violet seems like a catch, so make your move quickly. If you don't take your chance someone else will."

Larry smiled overconfidently as he said, "Thanks for the advice dad, but I've got nothing to worry about. Violet's all mine. No one can beat me."

Larry smiled egotistically as he entered the elevator and leaned against the back wall as the doors closed in front of him.

Later at Baxcorp

Hiro and the other students were working hard on their project while Baymax watched them and Fred sat in a chair reading a comic book. Some students were working on computers while others were using machines to help construct things, and some were doing calculations.

Hiro was building some kind of small device when Professor Grandville came and watched him as she said, "Excellent work Mr. Hamada."

Hiro showed a flattered smile as he kept working while Professor Grandville moved on to observe some of the other students.

Later at West View High School

It was lunchtime and Violet was sitting at a table with Kari, Lila, Tony, and Tony's two friends as they all talked while Violet stared into her algebra book.

Kari smiled as she watched a cat video on her phone and happily said, "Aww! That's so cute! I love slow clap cat! Look at him!"

She showed her phone to Violet and Lila as they watched a Japanese bobtail cat clap slowly and Violet smiled as she said, "Yeah. Cute."

Kari pulled her phone back and smiled as she kept watching, then everyone turned to Lila as she said, "Hey, did you guys hear? Big Hero 6 is in Metroville!"

Violet smiled as she nodded and said, "Yeah! Yesterday they helped the Incredibles fight that guy Arm-ageddon and beat him."

Tony smiled as he added, "Yeah, I heard that Captain Hero and Red Panda saved Incredigirl when that guy threw her out the building."

Kari smiled as she stared into space and swooned as she said, "I wish he threw ME out that building, then Captain Hero would be MY hero."

The others looked at her with amused expressions as some of them chuckled, but then they heard Larry making stressed sounds as he came toward them.

He was playing his game on his phone as he angrily stared at it, trying to win as he said, "Come on! I'll… No… Wait… Let me… Aaaahhh! One day I'll get you Big Hiro!"

He stopped as he noticed the others looking at him and he composed himself as he smiled arrogantly and walked toward their table.

He looked at them all as he said, "Hey guys."

One of Tony's friends smiled snidely at Larry as he said, "You lose on your game again."

Larry was vexed as he said, "He just got lucky. Again."

Tony's other friend grinned at Larry as he said, "Was it the same guy as last time?"

Larry glared daggers but quickly forced a charming smile as he turned to Violet and said, "So Violet, only two more days until the test. It's not a lot of time but I could still help you study if you want."

Violet tried to be polite as she smiled and said, "Thanks Larry, but I'm actually thinking I'll be okay."

Larry kept smiling arrogantly as he said, "You sure? Because I've got plenty of time to help you. I've got all of today free and last night I finished calibrating my robot for tomorrow's fight in the robotics club. I'm still undefeated."

Lila looked annoyed as she said, "We know."

Larry smiled flirtatiously at Violet as he leaned on the table and said, "After I win the match tomorrow I'll be more than ready to help you get an A on your test."

Violet kept smiling as she said, "I've actually already got a plan to pass the test, and I think it will really work. Thanks anyway."

Larry was surprised but smiled as he said, "Well if you change your mind, just give me a call."

He turned and walked away as Violet kept smiling as she said, "I will."

Once he was gone, she dropped the smile and let out a weary sigh as she turned her attention back to her book.

Later back at Baxcorp

The students had finished working for the day as they walked out of the labs as Hiro walked with his friends.

Hiro smiled at Go Go, Honey Lemon, and Wasabi as he said, "Nice work guys. At this rate we'll definitely have it done for Friday."

Wasabi smiled as he calmly said, "Yep, we've got the whole week planned out in a nice schedule that provides order to prevent chaos."

Go Go looked annoyed when Hiro's phone rang, he answered it and was surprised as he said, "Hello? Mr. Parr?"

The others were surprised; Bob was calling him from his house as he sat on the couch and said, "Hey Hiro. I was wondering if you and your friends could do me a favor and pick Violet and Dash up from school."

Hiro was shocked as he said, "You want us to pick them up?"

The others listened with surprised expressions as Bob smiled and said, "Yeah, you guys are closer to them than me, and you're coming over here anyway, so I thought you could pick them and bring them home."

Hiro thought for a moment as he said, "Okay, that sounds like a good idea."

Bob smiled as he happily said, "Great. I'll send you the addresses."

Hiro hung up and immediately got a text showing the addresses of Violet and Dash's schools, then he looked at his friends.

Go Go looked mildly annoyed as she said, "You volunteered us to pick up their kids?"

Hiro showed them the message as he explained, "They're not that far away, and we were planning on visiting them again anyway."

They looked at the addresses and Wasabi said, "It should be a safe drive to both schools."

Honey Lemon smiled as she said, "And we would be helping them out."

Go Go surrendered as she said, "Fine. Let's go."

Suddenly Fred got an alert on his phone and urgently showed it to the others as he said, "Guys! Guys! Look!"

His phone showed a live news report as an anchorman said, "This just in. The Metroville communications center is under attack by a dangerous villain."

Footage showed some explosions occurring and Big Hero 6 looked at each other with serious expressions as they nodded. They ran off while Baymax slowly walked after them, prompting Hiro and Go Go to come back, take his hands, and drag him along with them. Sometime later, people were running in terror from the communications center as the mysterious villain flew in the air. He wore a red suit of armor, it was a darker shade of red than Baymax's and it and it covered every part of his body. Some parts of his armor were black, such as the elbows, knees, and the bottom of the boots. The mask looked quite ominous as it had a hollow area at the bottom meant to look like an open mouth as if he was growling. The mask had a visor that were shaped like eyes narrowed in a hostile way that made him look threatening. He also had two long crests on the side of his helmet that went straight up and stretched over his forehead. He stood on a black glider device that had two large thrusters in the back, two long wings on the sides, and a thick pointed nose cone on the front.

The mysterious villain spoke with a disguised voice as he said, "Look at them run in fear of my genius. Now for my prize."

He turned and flew toward the communications tower as he approached a large satellite dish and prepared to take it. Suddenly he was hit by a yellow disc and he turned to see Go Go on the roof of the communications center, glaring at hm as her disc returned to her. Hiro and Baymax flew by and hovered near the roof while Fred jumped on it, Honey Lemon made a ramp of purple stuff to walk up, and Wasabi drove his car and parked it before getting out.

They all looked at the villain as he ominously said, "Big Hero 6. This is a pleasant surprise. I wasn't sure if you would show up."

Wasabi smiled awkwardly as he said, "Glad you're happy to see us. Maybe you can just turn yourself in and we can avoid the whole fight thing."

He said nothing and Hiro stared at him as he asked, "Who are you?"

The villain stared at him as he held his palms up and ominously said, "You may call me the Red Menace."

Fred hopped in excitement as he happily said, "Oh my gosh! That's such a cool name for a supervillain!"

The others were annoyed as they glared at the Red Menace as Hiro said, "Well let's see how you do against Red Panda."

Hiro and Baymax flew at Red Menace but he flew out of the way and spoke evilly as he said, "This should be interesting."

He tapped his foot on the glider and out of the top came a black spherical bomb, which he threw at Hiro and Baymax. They flew out of the way as it exploded in midair, then the Red Menace turned around and looked at the others before throwing another bomb at them. They scattered and avoided it as it exploded, then Go Go skated on the ground before throwing one of her discs at him. However, he easily dodged it as it came back at her, then he activated weapons in his glider that came out of the sides near the nose cone. They were laser cannons that rapidly fired at Go Go, so she skated away and avoided every shot as he followed her high in the air. Honey Lemon pressed some buttons on her purse and made a purple ball come out of her purse before she threw it at the Red Menace. However, he was too high so the ball did not hit him and fell to the ground as it popped and a big blob of purple foam came out of it.

The Red Menace stopped chasing Go Go and looked at Honey Lemon as he sarcastically said, "Cute."

He threw another bomb at her but she quickly made her purse create a yellow ball, which she threw down at the ground. It popped and formed a tall yellow solid barrier in front of her that blocked the bomb and protected her. He then started flying toward her when Fred jumped in front of him and kicked him, knocking him off his glider.

Wasabi watched and happily cheered, "Yeah! Way to go Fred!"

However, as the Red Menace fell his glider automatically changed direction and flew under him, catching him as he stood on it again. Honey Lemon and Wasabi both looked discouraged as Fred jumped up again and used breathed fire on him, but it did not damage his armor.

Fred landed and looked up at him as the Red Menace said, "Nice try."

He prepared to attack Fred but was hit by Baymax's left rocket fist and knocked off his glider again, only for it to fly down and rescue him again. Baymax's fist returned to him and then the Red Menace flew at him at high speed, but Hiro and Baymax got out of the way as they flew behind him. He turned around and made a bomb come out of his glider, then he threw it at Hiro and Baymax. Hiro held his left hand out and used the magnet to repel the bomb back at the Red Menace before it exploded. Hiro smiled until the smoke cleared to reveal Red Menace was still flying and his armor was not damaged.

He stared at Hiro as he said, "Clever boy, but my armor is much more durable than yours."

Hiro glared at Red Menace as he and Baymax flew at him as Baymax tried to punch him, but Red Menace dodged him and punched Hiro. He sent Hiro falling off Baymax, who turned and flew down to catch Hiro before flying back up as Hiro got back on his back.

The Red Menace watched him and said, "This has been fun, but I do have a schedule to keep."

He turned back to the communications tower and ripped the satellite dish off of it, then he activated an electromagnet in the bottom of his glider. The satellite dish attached to the bottom of his glider and he started flying away but Hiro and Baymax started chasing him. He turned around in the air and launched two missiles at them from his glider, only for Hiro and Baymax to dodge them both.

Hiro smiled as he taunted, "Ha! You missed!"

The Red Menace kept looking at him as he said, "Did I?"

Hiro turned and saw the missiles hit the supports of the communication tower, destroying two of them and making the tower unstable.

Hiro immediately understood what he was doing as he exclaimed, "Oh no!"

He and Baymax turned around and flew back toward the tower while the Red Menace flew away yelling, "We'll meet again Big Hero 6!"

Hiro and Baymax flew back toward the tower as fast as they could while the rest of Big Hero 6 looked up in fear. The tower was starting to tilt and it was going to fall down on the street where people and cars were as they looked up in fear. As the tower came falling down Go Go skated toward the street, grabbed two kids, and got them to safety before skating back. Fred jumped down and grabbed a woman before jumping away to get her to safety as well, then he grabbed a man and got him to safety as well. The tower was coming down as two cars were parked and about to be crushed when Honey Lemon threw two balls that formed large solid orange arches that protected the cars. Further away Hiro and Baymax flew down and landed in front of a car as Baymax raised his arms and caught part of the tower. The top of the tower fell on one car at the end with people inside, but though the car was damaged the people were safe inside. Wasabi quickly came and used his plasma blades to cut the doors off and cutting some parts of the tower so they could get out safely. Baymax also moved part of the tower away from the car he saved and Hiro climbed off his back as the team regrouped.

Fred looked around and curiously said, "Where'd Red Menace go?"

Hiro showed a vexed expression as he said, "He got away."

Go Go had her arms folded with a similar expression as she said, "He destroyed the tower as a distraction to escape with what he wanted."

Honey Lemon looked at the others as she curiously asked, "But why? What does he want with that satellite dish?"

Wasabi was just as curious as he said, "Yeah. Why go through all this trouble for a satellite dish."

Hiro was concerned and then became nervous while he said, "I don't know, but we have to find out. Uh oh! I forgot, we're supposed to pick up Violet and Dash! Let's go!"

They all quickly hurried away, meanwhile the Red Menace was flying through the air with the satellite dish still magnetized to the bottom of his glider.

As he flew he stared forward and said, "Success! The third piece is in my possession. Only two more components and it will be complete. Of course there is still the matter of the power source. But if all goes well that too. And no one will stop me."

The Red Menace kept flying through the sky with the satellite dish as he proceeded on his mission to carry out his evil plan.

Author's note: The Red Menace is clearly a dangerous threat and thus far he's the only villain who has not been captured by either team. He has an evil plot in motion and he is not a threat to be taken lightly. Yes he is based off the Green Goblin but with some clear differences. Please review.
