The next morning, Elrond was with Lucy, Edmund, and Susan, "Here are your weapons," Elrond says as he opens the blankets of the weapons that the Pevensies had during the battle of Narnia a long time ago. Lucy gasped, "My dagger and my healing vial, I thought I left these at Narnia," she asked. Edmund picked up his sword and Susan picked up her horn and her bow and arrows. Elrond smiled as he walked around them gracefully, "A wise Lion gave them to me to give them to you guys," he says. Susan smiled, "Aslan," she says. Elrond nodded, "I assume you would need them for your adventure," he says. Edmund nodded, and Lucy looks at both of her siblings, "Has Peter gone through the portal too," she asked. Edmund shrugged, "We don't know, Peter might have but he probably got separated from us," he says. Susan sighed, "We probably might see him on our adventures," she says.

Down in a small bedroom, Bilbo was helping Frodo getting ready for his adventure to Mordor, "This my old sword, sting, made by the elves," Bilbo says. Frodo looks at his sword that Bilbo gave him, "It's light," Frodo says. Bilbo nods, "Yes, made by the elves you see," he says. Bilbo then took out a clothing that was worn by him a long time ago, "This one is Mithril, light as a feather, and hard as a dragon scale. Let me see you put it on," he says to Frodo.

Frodo unbuttons his shirt and Bilbo sees his old ring that was chained around Frodo's neck. He sighs, "My old ring," he says. Frodo looks down and Bilbo smiled, "Oh how I want to hold that ring once again, can I just hold that ring one more time," he asked. Frodo buttons up his shirt to protect the ring from Bilbo trying to take it again. Bilbo got aggressive and tried to choke Frodo onto giving the ring back to him. Frodo got scared and Bilbo whimpered, "I am sorry my boy, I am sorry that I have gave you this burden. I am sorry for everything," he says as he cried. Frodo sat right next to Bilbo as he cried.

Edmund was getting ready from his area as he put everything in his belt. Arwen stands outside the bedroom, "I hope you be safe on your journey, wish you didn't have to leave," she says. He turns around and he looks at her sadly, "I know Arwen, I feel bad for leaving you," he says. She looked down, "So what is going to happen after this is all over, are you going to go back to your world, your kingdom," she asked. He shrugs, "Probably, if that's what's going to happen, we may never know," he says. She sighs and hugs him from behind, "I am going to miss you," she says. He sighs and holds her arm, "Don't worry, I am going to miss you too, but everything will be fine, I will wear this necklace to make sure that nothing will happen to it," Edmund says.

Susan went down to where Legolas is getting stuff ready. He puts his bow and arrow behind him, and he sees Susan heading towards the Hobbits. He stares at her beauty and comes up to her, "You know you have a way of not putting your archer behind your back," he says. She looks at her bow, "It's just comfortable to hold it because then if something happens then there is a huge chance that there will be an enemy that will be around," she says. He shakes his head and reaches for her hand, "Listen to me, there will be nothing that will attack you," he says. She stares at his eyes; his brown eyes shine through the light as he stares at her. She blushes and holds her bow. She thought to herself, "No I don't have feelings for him," she says in her head. He sighs and he lets go of her hand. He goes back to what he is doing, and Susan looks down sadly.

Everyone is now ready for their journey, and they wait for Frodo, the ring bearer," Gandalf says.

Frodo comes walking down to see Lucy standing right there. He remembers what Sam told her. He blushes as he looked at Lucy and smiles. Gandalf looks at Frodo, "We are ready when you are," Gandalf says. Frodo sighs and looks out the gate, "Okay Gandalf, which way," Frodo asked. Gandalf looks around, "Left," he says.

They start heading towards the path to Mordor. Everyone looks around and enjoys the view.

As soon as they rest near the rocks, Frodo and Sam were eating while Merry and Pippin were sparring with Boromir. Aragorn watches Merry and Pippin, "Watch your feet," Aragorn says. Edmund was sitting right next to Gandalf, "I wonder what is going to happen after we destroyed the ring, you think me, and my siblings are going to go back to our own world," he asked. Gandalf looked at Edmund, "You seem really gloomy when you said that, is there someone you feel like you are in love with," Gandalf asked. Arwen looks at the sky, "There is, but I didn't tell her how I feel, I know she likes me, and I like her and well I guess you can say that we are dating together or something," he says. Gandalf looks at Edmund with a grin, "You like someone," Gandalf teases.

Susan came up to Legolas who was standing on top of the rock, "What are you doing," She asked. Legolas looked at the view, "I am doing look out, making sure that there are no danger," he says as he didn't look at her. She stares at his elegance while he stands up on the rock. She looks at his hand and she didn't say anything as much. She sighs, and then stands up, "Um maybe I can do a look out with you," she asked. Legolas side eye at Susan, and she stands right next to him. He smiles as he could feel her warmth near her.

Lucy came by to Frodo, "Hiya Frodo," she says. Frodo smiles, "Hi Lucy, what are you doing," he asked. She looks at him, "Nothing just adventuring around," she says.

Sam looks at Frodo and nudges him. Frodo looks at Sam as Sam walked away and points to Lucy.

Frodo sighs, "Um Lucy, there is something I want to talk to you about, um I uh," he says. She looks at him confused, and he stutters, "Well I uh," he says.

Gimli came up to Edmund and Gandalf, "I say we are taking the long way around, Gandalf, we could go through the mines of Moria, my cousin Balin can give us a royal welcome," Gimli says. Gandalf shakes his head, "No, I will not go through the mines of Moria unless I have no other choice," he says.

Susan looks behind her and sees a black fog, "What is that," she asked.

Pippin and Merry tackled Boromir to the ground and they all laugh. Aragorn notices it too and so did Gimli, "Nothing just a whisp of a cloud," Gimli said. Boromir got up, "It's moving fast against the wind," he says.

Legolas ran up to the next rock, "Krebline from Dunland," he says. Everyone gasped and told everyone to cover.

They all hide. Legolas hides with Susan in the bush. She sees his body panting softly on top of her.

Frodo and Lucy hid under the rock while Edmund hides between the tall rocks.

Suddenly a bunch of birds circling around the area. Everyone peeks through the bushes and rocks. The birds cawed and they couldn't find the group. They fly away and then they weren't seen again.

Everyone got out of their hiding spot, and Gandalf sighs, "Spies of Saruman, we must make for the pass of Caradhas," Gandalf says. Everyone look up at the mountains and they start getting ready.

Lucy sighs, "I wish we didn't have to go through the snow, it's probably going to be steep," she says. Frodo holds her hand, "I can stick near you Lucy," he says. She smiles and blushes.
