"Rin…this isn't your burden to bear," says Archer as they hopped from one building to another, trying to move as fast as possible. In all honesty, he could care less about the naive boy that he once was. It would be better for everyone if he died back there and wasn't saved by his master.
(Un)Fortunately for him, Rin Tohsaka has a caring heart, despite trying to follow the path of a magus. She could never leave someone to perish just like that.
"I wasted too much just for him to simply die again! He owes me after this!" Rin retorts back as the master and servant pair made it to one of the rooftops before suddenly they feel a chill down their spine
It was as if something inhumane was lurking inside the premises in one of the houses there. A place that Archer was quite familiar with.
'What the hell is this feeling? Something isn't right here.' Archer may not have a lot of memories during his time as that boy but he's pretty sure that whatever this strange feeling is, it's not something that should be coming out from his old house.
It felt as if the very air of his place was polluted with depravity and sin.
He can see Rin is shaken up by this oppressive feeling, her entire body wouldn't stop shivering as sweat was pouring down on her face. Not like he could blame her. Even Archer himself is unsettled as his Eye of the Mind is warning him to not go any closer or the death of his master will be guaranteed. And due to the countless battles he had experienced over his lifetime as Humanities Guardian, he knows to trust his intuitions to escape this place right now.
"Master, something is wrong here. We need to retreat now." Rin shook her head in denial as she put on a brave face.
"No. I won't run aw-away from this! I need to ma-make sure that idiot is safe and sound." As brave as her speech was, her stuttering betrayed her true feelings of the matter. She was terrified of this place.
And so was he.
"This is no time for you to act stupid! Whatever this oppressive feeling is, it is not something that you can handle face to face. We need to leave now and regain our bearings first now."
"But-!"
"That boy was most likely killed by whatever was emitting this aura already. There is no point in checking up on him anymore. You need to prioritize your safety first."
He can see the hesitation in her eyes as she bit her lip, trying to determine the best decision to make right now. Archer just hopes that she makes it fast, he doesn't want to linger here any more than he needs to.
But then-!
"Hoh? So another one has decided to join the party then?"
His Eye of the Mind screams at him as he uses his body as a shield to block an attack towards Rin, feeling a searing pain of flames as they both crash down to the pavement below them.
Archer didn't have time to ensure her safety as he quickly threw her body as far as he could without hurting her before dodging the red lasers that would have killed him right there and then. He quickly projects Kanshou and Bakuya as he quickly deflects more energy attacks with difficulty.
He tries to gain his bearing as he glances at the attacker, only to see a dragon-like hand coming towards his face. He back pedals immediately, avoiding the fate of becoming a red paste on the ground as the appendage slams on the concrete with great force, creating cracks amongst them.
He then finally got a good look on the aggressor. And it's something that unsettles him completely.
The girl was petite and small, around the size of an adolescent teenager. She has blonde hair with red eyes, wearing a golden crown with the center being adorned with red and black crystals with a white one in the middle of it. She wears a simple red elegant dress that matches her large inhumane tail that sticks out of her rear end.
Her right arm is covered in draconic-like scales while her left side is wearing simple white gloves. Her appearance alone isn't something to be worth worrying about.
No it's the thing that she is holding on to with her left hand.
A chalice that is ornamented with gems that formed the rainbow. A chalice that is emanating that accursed aura that Archer and Rin felt before.
"Hohoho, it appears that you are enamored by my Grail. Unfortunately for you, this chalice shall only be used to fulfill my master's earnest desires, not for the likes of Counter Guardians like you." The girl—no, monster replied back with such malice in her voice that he had to take a step back just to get hold of himself.
"The grail huh? That looks like a mountain of curses to me rather than an all-wishing granting device." Archer shot back at her, irritated that the chalice that she is holding is being compared to the Holy Grail itself. If anything, it feels similar to the same curses that plagued the onset of the Fuyuki Park from the Great Fire.
"Perhaps that is what your unworthy eyes see. To me, this chalice is something that fulfills… one's deepest desires from the bottom of one's heart, whether that person is good or evil, it shall grant their wish."
"That so? Then tell me why would you attend the war if you could just make a wish in the first place." He tries to scan around to see where the master of this servant is and sees if he can try and snipe them quickly and end this threat.
"Hehehe. Sorry but you are not worthy to know my opinion. Only my master is someone worth bestowing my opinion towards." Her right hand began to grow, transforming it into the same draconic arm that almost crushed him once.
"But where are my manners? Before you die I shall introduce myself. I am Draco, Sodom's Beast Draco. Servant Class…Beast."
As the Beast Class Servant laughs maniacally from her own introduction, only one thought ran through Archer's mind.
'What type of timeline did you summon me into Alaya'?!
AN: No stories of her exists yet so I wanted to be the first one to make before anyone else. Hopefully the character tag gets updated as well.. I don't know if she is OOC or not but I try my best anyway.
Don't know if I will continue this or not. So don't expect anything else from me.
