Hello, thank you for showing your support for my story. That's all I can say to you. From the bottom of my heart.

Jan Di, with great strength, was able to make it back to the Shinhwa Hotel, where her other friends were, with Ji Hoo following her. He had tried to talk to her back throughout their ride, but she was unwilling to reply. He was apologizing for crossing the line last night, and he was willing to take responsibility for his actions. As they arrived at the hotel, she finally turned to face Ji Hoo. "I appreciate your apology," she said, "but I need some time to process everything that happened last time." Ji Hoo nodded understandingly.

"I want you to have this," he uttered slowly as he dug into his pocket, bringing out a box of medicine. "I don't want to ruin your or my future with whatever happened that was unplanned," he added, handing the box to Jan Di. She looked at him in surprise and confusion.

"What is this?" she asked, examining the box.

"It's an emergency pill, what people term as 'Morning after sex'" Ji Hoo replied calmly. "I want us to be responsible and not let anything get in the way of our dreams." Jan Di felt a wave of emotions wash over her as she realized how much Ji Hoo cared for her. She hugged him tightly, feeling grateful and relieved at the same time.

"Thank you for caring," she said, drawing away from his arms much to his liking.

"And I have something to tell you, but not here. Can we talk over in my room?" He asked her, knowing he was playing with fire once again, but that didn't scare him; what was scaring him was the hesitation in her eyes. "It will be just two minutes," he added, trying to convince her that he wouldn't cross the line. She looked at him with a mix of curiosity and suspicion, wondering what he could want to tell her that required privacy. Despite her reservations, she agreed to follow him to his room, hoping it wasn't going to be a mistake.

Ji Hoo led Jan Di to his room, which was found at the end of the hallway, away from prying eyes. He could tell that most people at the hotel were still sleeping. He opened the door to his room and gestured for Jan Di to enter. The room was spacious and elegantly decorated, with a king-sized bed in the center. Ji Hoo walked over to the window and opened the curtains, letting in the early morning light. He turned to Jan Di and smiled, feeling his heart race with anticipation. "I hope you don't mind," he said, "but I wanted to show you something." He walked over to his desk and pulled out a small box, which he handed to Jan Di. She opened it to reveal a beautiful necklace, made of delicate pearls and sparkling diamonds. "It belonged to my mother," Ji Hoo explained, "and I want you to have it."

Jan Di's eyes widened in surprise and worry, recalling all the insults Jun Pyo had said to her when she stupidly lost the necklace, he had given her. "I can't have it," she said, giving him back his necklace.

"Why?" Ji Hoo sounded hurt by the rejection.

"Because if I lost it by mistake, you might say hurtful—" She stopped talking when Ji Hoo placed a finger on her lips and said, "I would never say anything hurtful towards you, nor will I hate you." He then cupped her face, looking into her eyes.

"Sunbae..."

"Jan Di-ah, everything I wanted to say to you was revealed in what transpired between us last night," he said, leaning in closer and staring at her lips. Jan Di's heart was pounding as she locked her gaze on his passionate eyes. The warmth of his hands on her face was obvious, as was the electricity between them. She had never felt more alive. She knew he meant what he said, and she could not help but be overwhelmed by feelings. It was as if all her life's pain and hurt had been wiped away in that single moment. She closed her eyes and moved closer to him, feeling his breath on her lips.

"Sunbae..." she said, mumbling, and then she felt his lips brushing softly on hers. "You said... um... we were only..." she continued mumbling while his lips nibbled on hers, unable to finish the words she had planned to say.

Ji Hoo wrapped his arm around Jan Di's waist, pulling her closer to him as their lips remained locked. Ji Hoo couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the sensations coursing through his body. He had missed Jan Di so much, and now that she was in his arms, he never wanted to let her go. Her warmth against him was intoxicating, and he could feel himself getting lost in the moment. Memories of their passionate lovemaking flooded his mind, making the kiss even more intense. Ji Hoo knew that he had to savor every moment with Jan Di because he didn't know when they would be able to be together again. As they finally pulled away from each other, Ji Hoo looked deeply into Jan Di's eyes and whispered how much he loved her as he brushed his thumb over her swollen lip.

"Gu Jun Pyo should have received the necklace by now." Ji Hoo commented after breaking the kiss

And Jan Di was giving him a confused look. "Come and sit with me; I will tell you everything." He led her to his bed, and he felt a hint of hesitation, but he understood her once more.

Flashback...

As Ji Hoo walked out of his hotel room to look for Jan Di, his mind became alert as he heard the whispers from the nearest room that belonged to the three self-proclaimed queens of Shinhwa. They were joyfully mumbling about how Jan Di was so stupid that she went out of the blizzard to look for a necklace. Ji Hoo pried further to see Miranda and Ginger fighting for the star and moon necklace Jun Pyo had given to Jan Di last night, and now his mind became alert with anger and worry. He cleared his throat and entered the room. His icy glare was directed at the three girls, who wished they could dig themselves into a hole and bury themselves in it.

"Ji Hoo Sunbae..." they stammered in unison and staggered, almost falling on the bed. "What are you-" they began to say but were interrupted by a threatening voice from the calm member of the F4.

"What did you do to Geum Jan Di?" His voice was calm, but there was a menacing tone behind it.

The two stuttering individuals seemed to be caught off guard and were unsure of how to respond to the question. They exchanged a nervous glance before finally admitting that they had no idea what he was talking about.

"We stole the necklace from her when she was distracted, and when she approached us, we sent her to the hill to go and look for it," they explained.

Ji Hoo roughly grasped the necklace from their hands and said, "I will deal with you later." Ji Hoo's face twisted with anger as he examined the stolen necklace. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. How could these people be so heartless? He knew that stealing was wrong, but to intentionally mislead someone and send them on a wild goose chase was despicable. Ji Hoo took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down. He knew that he needed to manage this situation carefully. He didn't want to make things worse by acting impulsively. After a few moments, Ji Hoo spoke in a measured tone, "What you did was wrong, and you know it. You need to make a public apology to Gu Jun Pyo and make sure he apologizes to Geum Jan Di for whatever horrible words he said to her." He shoved the necklace back at them. The three girls looked at each other nervously, realizing that they had been caught. They nodded their heads in agreement and handed over the necklace. Ji Hoo watched as they slinked away, feeling satisfied that justice had been served.

Present...

"You know Gu Jun Pyo will never apologize, in any case, since he has the necklace; that is the end of the journey between him and me since he weighed what he felt for me with a piece of a necklace." Jan Di said after hearing the whole story Ji Hoo had told her.

"Jan Di-ah, isn't it too soon to say that?" He asked, but deep down, there was an unexplainable joy that maybe the Lord God Almighty had finally returned his other half, and now the only thing he had to do was make her completely his, but how?

"Thank you for standing up for me and for looking...for me...last night," she said, glancing away. "I will go to my room," she declared, rising from the bed.

"Jan Di," Ji Hoo said, rising from the bed as well and taking her wrist. "Please don't go," he said softly, pulling her back toward him. "I know I can't compete with Jun Pyo, but I just want you to know that I care about you from the moment I met you."

"Sunbae..."

"Let me just finish." Ji Hoo muttered, still holding her. "I will never stop showing you how I feel, but this time, not like last night, because I know sleeping together doesn't mean love. This time, I will show you through my actions and words that I am committed to you. I want to be there for you in the good times and the bad, to hold your hand and wipe away your tears. I want to make you laugh and smile every day and to be your partner in all aspects of life. I know we have our differences, but I believe that together we can overcome any obstacle. You are my rock, my confidant, and my best friend. I promise to cherish you forever and never take you for granted. Let's build a future together filled with love, trust, and happiness." He finally breathed because he had never said so much.

"Whatever happened last night between us, I need to process everything; please give me time." Jan Di said.

"OK," he nodded understandingly. He leaned in and kissed her forehead, finally releasing her from his embrace. He watched her walk out of his room, and before she could close the door, she glanced back at him with a small smile. He couldn't help but feel a sense of relief that she was still willing to give him a chance. As he sat on his bed, he couldn't help but think about everything that had happened between them. After their one night, the air between them was going to get thicker as they had crossed the line they shouldn't have.

One month later...

Jan Di has been avoiding the F4 boys, especially Gu Jun Pyo and Yoon Ji Hoo. Jun Pyo, who had been giving her calls, and leaving her countless romantic messages five times a day, was becoming increasingly difficult for her to keep with him, and when he left for Macao, he promised to be a better man to her and never valued the expensive gifts he gave her for the love he showered her with. However, as time passed, his promises began to ring hollow, and she realized that his love was more about possession than true affection. She decided to block his number and stay away from him for the time being.

And one more person, Yoon Ji Hoo; although he left her messages and promised to give her space, his messages were as sweet and gentle as his true self. His messages always asked if she had eaten right, how her day was, or how her night was, and also wished/ her a wonderful day.

Jan Di hadn't seen him for a month as well, only glimpsing glances, especially when they had lunch in the cafeteria or when she headed to the library to read since she no longer went to their special place. During that time, she has been spending time, if not at school, doing her part-time jobs as a delivery girl, and waitress at the famous porridge restaurant. She also learned a lot from being away from the F4 boys, especially when it comes to matters of self-love that she lacked when Jun Pyo forced his way into her life. She learned to value her own opinions and choices and to stand up for herself, when necessary, which made her a stronger and more independent person. Sometimes even her mother and father feared taking money from her piggy bank anymore because they knew she is no longer the same Geum Jan Di she used to be.

Her relationship with Ga Eul, her best friend, became so strong that not even Yi Jeong's tricks could work on her just to get some gossip from her. His charm became useless to her, and instead, he began to value her as Jan Di's best friend. Yi Jeong's realization of Ga Eul's loyalty toward Jan Di made him see her in a different light, and he began to develop genuine feelings for her but was afraid to approach her because of Jan Di's lack of trust in him.

One afternoon, Ji Hoo was at the Yoon Foundation in the concert hall, practicing with his orchestra for the upcoming recital. He had been constantly distracted by Jan Di's absence from his life since the time they left the resort. He missed hearing her voice and seeing her smiling face. However, he couldn't shake off the feeling of guilt that had been gnawing at him ever since he had crossed the line and made love to her. He knew that his actions had caused a rift in their friendship, and he was afraid that she would never trust him again.

"Sir," his head snapped to the girl that was playing the guitar.

"I'm lost today; can we call it a day?" He asked the group, and before they could respond, he walked off and scratched his forehead. He walked to the escalator that led him out of the foundation. Today he was wearing completely white, which complimented his entire personality. He wore a white suit with a white shirt and white shoes, giving him a clean and polished look, but that didn't bother him; all he wanted was to see Jan Di taking her to touch, ask God to forgive him for the sin he had committed before the eyes of heaven and take her to his home as a proper wife with God's blessings.

"Young master," his driver said, bowing and opening the car for Ji Hoo. "Should I drive to the porridge restaurant?" he asked, knowing that his young master would go back to watch Jan Di for hours until she left for her home, but today it seemed different. He was dressed formally, not because of work but because he usually dresses most elegantly when he goes to church.

"Was my order delivered today?" Ji Hoo asked the butler.

"Yes, it's in the box next to you." The butler replied, pointing at the box that Ji Hoo hadn't noticed when he sat in his car. Ji Hoo quickly opened the box and inspected the contents, relieved to find that everything he ordered was there.

"To the porridge shop." Ji Hoo said, smiling while looking at the gift he wanted to give Jan Di upon seeing her.

"Ga Eul, will you be OK alone?" Jan Di asked as she took off the apron she uses during her shift as a waitress at the porridge restaurant. She was wearing a pink top with a pair of black shorts since it was summer in Seoul.

"I will be fine; you should go home and rest. Your shoulder needs rest and you should see a doctor as well" Ga Eul replied, pushing her out of the restaurant and closing it. Jan Di turned around, descending downstairs, but was met by a surprise.

Ji Hoo's white SUV was parked by the roadside. Jan Di felt her heart skip a beat as she saw Ji Hoo standing next to his car, looking at her with a warm smile. He was looking handsome in his long white tan coat, white shirt with a silver tie, and black trousers.

She remained rooted to the stairs, not knowing whether to leave or stay because she had been avoiding him for the past month, not because she had asked for some space from him but because she had ended her relationship with Gu Jun Pyo over the phone. Lost in her thoughts, she didn't notice him approaching her and standing in front of her at the same height.

"How have you been, Jan Di-ah?" Ji Hoo asked tenderly. He wanted to reach out and take her in his arms, kiss her, and hold her tightly, reminding her of how much he loved her infinitely. He wanted to do a lot of things for her to make up for the entire month he had missed her. However, he knew that it was not the right time to do so.

"I have been OK," she managed to reply, and she turned around to leave; however, Ji Hoo held her back.

"Jan Di," he said, going down on his knees. "I'm begging you, stop avoiding me," he pleaded, and when Jan Di turned around to talk to him, she was surprised that he was on his knees, and her first instinct was to pull him up from the dirty ground while scolding him, saying that he didn't have to do that. However, when she saw the desperation in his eyes, she softened.

"But don't kneel again," she said gently, and she took out her hankie to clean off the dirt from his trouser.

He smiled as he watched her clean the not-so-visible stains on his pants, recalling that he did the same when she was bullied at school. "Can we talk privately? My car is waiting," he said, taking her hand, raising her from her knees, and leading her to his car. He opened the doors of the back seats for her and asked the butler to leave them open for some privacy.

As she sat in the back seat, Ji Hoo slid in next to her and closed the door. Tuning to face her, he got her a bowl of fruit salad with yogurt topped with nuts, strawberries, and blueberries, which he had prepared himself earlier that day. He then asked her about her day, and they started chatting softly while she enjoyed something fresh.

"Jan Di-ah, are you a Christian?" he asked.

"Yes, why do you ask?"

Ji Hoo smiled and opened the gift he had ordered in the morning. "I was hoping you would come to church with me," he said, and he presented her with the two boxes with a dress and shoes with matching jewelry.

"I haven't been at church in a while," she commented, accepting the boxes with great energy since her shoulder has increasingly become a problem.

"What's wrong?" he asked, looking at her with concern. "Is your shoulder still injured?" he asked once more, taking the boxes from her. He then brought his hand to her bare shoulder and softly massaged it, trying to ease the tension that had built up in her muscles. She let out a sigh of relief as his touch worked its magic on her sore muscles while they gazed lovingly into each other's eyes. 'I missed you,' she communicated with her eyes.

"I missed you too," Ji Hoo replied, looking at her eyes that showed all her emotions. Of all the people he had known in his life, Jan Di was the easiest to read. He could only read her by looking into her eyes—those big brown eyes that he first fell in love with the moment he met her. As he gazed at her eyes, which showed all her emotions, he couldn't help but feel a sense of comfort and familiarity. Jan Di was the kind of person who wore her heart on her sleeve, and it was clear in the way she looked at him. Her big brown eyes were like windows to her soul, and he could see everything she was feeling just by looking into them. He remembered the first time they met, how those same eyes had captivated him and drawn him in. It was as if they were speaking to him without words, telling him everything he needed to know about this incredible woman before him. And now, months later, as he looked into those same eyes once again, he knew that his love for Jan Di had only grown stronger with time.

He placed his hand on her cheek, caressing it softly, and whispered, "I miss having you this close. I hope you allow me to have you this close every day. Protect you from all the pain you suffer."

Jan Di looked up at him, her eyes filled with tears. She knew that she loved him too, but she was afraid to admit it. She had been hurt before and didn't want to risk getting hurt again. But as she looked into his eyes, she saw the sincerity and love in them, and she knew that he was different. He was the one who would protect her from all the pain and suffering that life could bring. She leaned into his touch, closing her eyes as he continued to caress her cheek. "I want to be with you too," she whispered softly. "I want to feel your arms around me every day." He smiled at her, his eyes shining with happiness.

"Then let's make it happen," he said, pulling her close and kissing her gently on the lips.

"But I'm not ready for that yet." She said after pulling back from him.

Ji Hoo patiently waited for Jan Di outside her house as she got ready for church. After an hour, he saw her walking down the stairs of her apartment dressed beautifully in an A-line chiffon ruffle off-the-shoulder sleeveless short white dress. She had paired it with nude pumps and a simple clutch bag, completing the look with minimal makeup and a natural hairstyle. She even wore the necklace he had given her as a gift.

He opened the car and rushed out to meet her so they could go to church together. As he approached her, he couldn't help but admire how stunning she looked in her outfit. They exchanged smiles and greetings before heading to the car, ready for a day of worship and togetherness.

"Do you know why I invited you to church?" he asked as they stood in the empty church before the altar.

"No,"

He held his hand out for her, and she took it. "Before anything else, I want to ask God to forgive us for what we did that night," he stated tentatively.

"Oh..." she replied, recalling that fornication was indeed a sin in the eyes of God. As they walked down the aisle, the sound of their footsteps echoed through the empty church. The silence was deafening, and it felt as though they were the only two people in the world. When they reached the altar, he knelt and closed his eyes in prayer. She followed suit, feeling a sense of peace wash over her. As they confessed their sins and asked for forgiveness, she couldn't help but feel grateful for this moment of clarity. It was a reminder that no matter how far we stray from our beliefs, there is always a chance to make things right. When they finished their prayers, he stood up and again took her hand.

"And one more thing before we leave."

"What?"

"In front of God, I want to ask you if I can take you home...um...as my...wife," he said, his voice trembling with nervousness.

She looked at him, tears welling up in her eyes, and whispered, "But... I'm not ready for this. I just broke up with Gu Jun Pyo, and I need some time to heal and figure things out. Can we take things slow and get to know each other better before making such a big decision?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

"I know that you need time. But every time you come home, I want you to feel at ease and not be afraid of me asking for a commitment. We need to build a strong foundation before we take any big steps. I want to know everything about you—your dreams, your fears, your favorite foods, and everything in between. And I want you to know the same about me. We can take things slow and enjoy each other's company without any pressure or expectations. We can go on walks, try new restaurants, watch movies, and just talk for hours. I want us to be able to communicate openly and honestly with each other so that we can build trust and understanding. And when the time is right, we'll both know it. Until then, let's just enjoy the journey together." She smiled at him, and he felt his heart skip a beat.

"OK, then. I agree to be your wife, but we can't share the same bedroom, and-" She stopped talking when she felt his lips softly brushing her forehead.

He whispered in her ear, "We can take things slow and do it your way. I just want to be with you, always."
