Mirio was sitting on a bench at UA waiting for Eri's counselling session to end when he saw his friend and romantic interesting. He sighed as he smiled thinking about how to ask her out, what he wasn't expecting was a certain green haired student that he was a friend to
"There you see her" Izuku started to sing
"Izuku?" Mirio asked
"Sitting there across the way" Izuku continued to sing
"Who?" Mirio asked confused
"She ain't got a lot to say" Izuku continued
"What are you talking about?" Mirio asked confused
"But there is something about her" Izuku said as he pointed to the laughing blunette before walking away
"Is this payback for you and Uraraka?" Mirio asked, not noticing the looks Nejire was giving him.
"Maybe" Izuku said anyway you're dying to try, go on and kiss the girl" Izuku sang
"Okay then" Mirio blinked before he walked away.
"Oh hey Mirio-senpai" Kirishima said waving
"Oh hey Red Riot, you seen Deku around, he was acting strange" Mirio stated
"No I haven't but Amajiki-senpai gave them these, for you and Hado-senpai" Kirishima said handing him a pair of tickets
"Blue Lagoon pool, man I heard this place is great" Mirio smiled
"Yeah, sadly Amajiki said he couldn't go" Kirishima said
"Shame" Mirio said
"So why not go with Hado?" Kirishima asked making Mirio frown "What, you're good friends with her. So you should go"
"Maybe" Mirio said taking the tickets. Suddenly more of the song Izuku was singing came into his head

"Not really, she's a good friend" he said to his mind

"Oh come on!" Mirio snapped
"You okay Mirio?" Nejire asked
There is one way to ask her
"Ah yeah, anyway Kirishima said that Amajiki wanted us to have these tickets" Mirio smiled holding up the tickets, "So I was wondering if you would like to come with me this Saturday"
"So cool" Nejire said taking one "I'll see you there" she smiled
"Sure" he smiled
It does take a word, Not a single word

Nejire turned the corner and looked back and saw that Mirio had left smiling
"Oh Mirio" Nejire smiled before she leaned against the wall, a tune coming to her mind
"My oh My, looks like he's too shy, Ain't going to kiss the girl" someone sang next to her
"GAH!" Nejire jumped
"Oh sorry Nejire" Jiro smiled as she took her headphones off
"Was that kiss the girl?" Nejire asked
"Yeah it is, you like song?" Jiro asked
"Oh yeah I do" Nejire cheered
"Sweet" Jiro smiled "I've still got it cued up if you wanted to listen" she said holding up an earbud.
"Okay thank you" Nejire said as she closed her eyes and focused on the lyrics
'Sha-la-la-la-la ain't it sad, ain't it shame? Too bad he's going to miss he girl' the song sang
'does Mirio like me?' Nejire pondered.
The next day the pair met up at the pool, having changed into a pair of blue and white board shorts, he was looking around for where he's friend could be.
"I wonder where she is" Mirio asked, he looked around until he felt someone tap his shoulder, looking behind her Mirio saw that Nejire had walked over to him wearing her cyan bikini
"How do I look?" she smiled while asking
"Nice!" Mirio said
"Thanks, well shall we?" Nejire asked
"Sure" Mirio nodded
"Now's your moment' that blasted song sounded in his head making him frown.
"Great I'm hearing it here as well" he groaned
"Mirio, come on!" Nejire cheeredd dragging him to the floating tubes
"alright, alright" Mirio smiled
'Floating in a blue Lagoon, Boy you better do it soon' Nejire sang softly
"You say something?" Mirio asked
"Oh sorry, my mind just thought of something seeing the name of this place" she giggled
"Okay" Mirio nodded 'I'm kind of getting sick on that damn song being everywhere I am'
'No time will be better, She don't say a word, not a single'
"YAHOOOO!" Nejire shouted as she went down the slide in her tube
'you were saying song?' Mirio smirked an followed her
'Unit you Kiss the girl' the song continued.
Later the two were walking alongside each other as they were looking for the next place to explore, they were currently next to a large pool with a fountain in the middle, it also had fairy lights darting around the area
"So this is the Firefly pool" Nejire said, becoming entranced with eth moving lights
"yeah it's nice" Mirio said suddenly feeling a bit nervous mostly due to the fact that song had been in his head for awhile now

"you okay Mirio, you're face is turning red" Nejire innocently said
"Yeah I'm okay" he said noticing that she was kind of standing close to him and was leaning over a bit.

"Did you want to get in the water?" Mirio asked pointing to the pool
"Yeah sure" Nejire said sliding into the pool, and sinking slightly to wet her hair making her look more enchanting
'oh boy' Mirio said as he got in and just laid on his back and enjoying the sounds around him, even a familiar melody that had been hunting him since yesterday 'oh come on!' he groaned

"Okay that's it!" Mirio said as he stood up, Nejire looking at him confused.
"Mirio?" Nejire asked as he took her hang and lead her into the middle of the pool where a fountain was, he pulled her in under the fountain, making her even more nervous
"Sorry, but that damn song has been playing in my head all day, and well"
"You want to do what it says?" Nejire sweetly asked
"Yeah" he gulped his nerves down
"Okay" Nejire said

Mirio gently pulled her in and placed his lips against her and had his hands on her hips. The soft feeling of her lips was just perfect to the young hero. Nejire smiled as she deepened it, feeling like he was giving Mirio his reward for everything that happened to hm from saving Eri and losing his quirk to getting them back, the war of the villains and everything like that. He was a knight and now she was the princess, saying thank you to him
"Wow" Mirio said as the two broke apart
"That was" Nejire said
"Incredible" they said as the same time looking into each other's eyes.

You've gotta kiss the girl
"Go on and kiss the girl, again" Nejire smiled "But you have to catch me first" she laugh running out of the fountain
"Oh you're on!" Mirio laughs as he followed after her.
G'day Guys Grizz here and yeah not my best songfic, especially for my discord's latest contest which was a third songfic. Any way this is kind of a follow on from the MHA IzuOcha Can you feel the love to night fic, will I make a third fic in the series? Maybe, not sure. yes I do kind of ship Mirio with Nejire since most people ship her with Amajiki.
