In the centre of the continent of Fodlan lies a group of mountains separating the three nations of the Adrestian Empire, the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, and the Leicester Alliance. Garreg Mach Monastery sits in these mountains with the officers' academy being at Garreg Mach as well. the cathedral of Garreg Mach is connected by a deserted bridge until a blinding light suddenly appears in the middle of the bridge revealing five figures.
"Can I never do that ever again?" Ash requested panting heavily "I feel like I'm about to collapse."
"I mean sure but it would be helpful for sending people to areas in a fight." Edelgard reasoned with some amusement.
"Come on pal it would also be helpful for when you're surrounded by enemies," Claude remarked with a smile on his face
To prevent Ash from the argument Byleth interjects "Claude, Dimitri please take Ashura to his room we will inform the Archbishop tomorrow once Ashura has had a chance to rest."
"Sure Professor come on Claude and Ashura" Dimitri responds before putting Ash's arm over his shoulder and starting to lead him to the student dormitories.
The next morning Ash wakes up not in the familiar bed at Professor Kukui's house but instead in a small dorm room. "That's right I'm in Fodlan and this is my dorm room" Ash recalled while looking at his desk seeing his bag and some books that are different colours with some symbols on them reflecting the element that the tomes contain. there is also a folded-up uniform that is sitting on the desk's chair.
After getting into the uniform Ash looks at what he is wearing to see that he is in a black and silver version of what Dimitri and Claude were wearing, but without the shoulder cape. "Eh, not what I'm used to but it will do," Ash mutters before putting his Pokeball belt on and having the area where the Pokeballs sit be hidden by part of the jacket, then leaving his room to see a corridor with other doors leading to where Ash would guess would be other student's rooms.
After walking outside Ash sees a greenhouse and a small pond where there is a fishing stand as he prepares to walk around aimlessly he sees Byleth walking towards him "Good morning Professor" Ash greets with a smile.
"Ah, hello there Ashura" She responds in kind before asking "Is there anything you need?"
"I remember last night that you said that I would have to see the Archbishop today" Ash recalls getting a nod from Byleth "Are we going to do that now?"
"Yes, it's better to get it done now rather than later, follow me," Byleth asks while starting to walk along where there are more dormitories until they reach a building that connects to the cathedral, after going up a set of stairs they reach the area that has 2 large doors. Byleth goes and knocks on one of the doors and then asks "Archbishop we have recovered Ashura and I am here to give my report of the place that he was sent to."
"Come in Professor and young Ashura," a soft female voice says warmly.
As Byleth goes to open one of the doors Ash pushes the door open and then like a gentleman says while bowing. "After you."
After Byleth goes through the door Ash follows and sees a woman in a long white dress with a blue and gold cape that reaches the floor, she has a decorative crown on her head, while having green hair that has 2 white flowers in it. Next to her is a middle-aged man also with green hair, he is wearing a blue vest and blue pants, he has a black cape with gold markings on the inside of it and black boots.
"Archbishop, Seteth here is Ashura safe and sound" Byleth informs while motioning over to Ash.
"Welcome back dear child, I am so glad to see that the goddess has kept you safe," Rhea says to Ash while smiling warmly at him.
"It's a pleasure to be back, but I don't remember anything about here mostly" Ash responds in kind while looking a little sad over the fact that his memories are still gone, meaning that he is in a completely new area without any knowledge of it.
"Is that so Ashura well Lady Rhea you have the spell that can fix that right?" Seteth Asks Rhea while looking at Rhea. While Ash perks up slightly at the mention of a spell thinking it will be a little similar to when he, Brock and Misty met Lily the Spellcaster.
"Yes I do have the spell to help young Ashura get his memories back, please follow me Ashura" Rhea responds to her adviser then asks Ash while starting to walk to a side area of the audience chamber "All right now please kneel and let me to the rest."
Following Rhea's orders, Ash kneels and closes his eyes then feels Rhea put her hands just above his ears before a throbbing sensation starts to appear in his head he starts seeing a few memories appear before he feels Rhea remove her hands from his head.
"Sorry dear child but some of your memories are lost in the flow of time," Rhea sadly says while looking at Ash.
Seeing her face and hearing her tone Ash urges "It's not your fault that some of my memories are gone it would not be the first time that I have had my memory blocked" Shocking everyone there.
After leaving the side room Ash and Rhea just catch the last of Byleth's report to Seteth of when she and the house leaders went to get Ash.
"Thank you for the report Professor I think that you should go and teach the students" Seteth replies before suggesting her next task.
After leaving the room Ash and Byleth start talking about the memories that he has gotten back "So the memories that you have are, how to use your magic attacks and that you used a special sword before the school year began" Byleth summarises while looking at Ash in disbelief at the small number of memories he has about his homeworld.
Sighing Ash begins "Yeah it's not great but it might have something to do with my crest though."
"Do you know where the crest came from?"
"Nope no one knows, but it seems that I've had it my entire life and also while I was in the other world" Ash then notices that they are approaching the classrooms before yawning "I'm going to take a nap to see if I can get some of my memories back and because the spell that the Archbishop did has drained my energy."
"Ok then I'll see you later then Ashura," Byleth says as she and Ash walk in different directions. As she walks to the classroom that all of the students will soon be learning in (she will be teaching every house with the other professors due to an agreement) she starts to write on the blackboard about some battle tactics that she has used before.
As Ash is walking back to where his room is, he starts to use his aura to make sure that no one sees him but as he passes a room he hears water running, as he walks closer and peeks into the greenhouse he notices a girl with orange hair and the uniform that she is wearing looks like a dress, but she has a small pouch and blue tights making the uniform look a little different. After realising that she might be one of his classmates he decides to introduce himself to her "Um, hello there."
"Ahh! Wh-what who is there?" She shrieks in surprise before turning around to see Ash "Ashura!? you're back?!"
"Um, yeah sorry about this but I have no memories of Fodlan so may know your name?" Ash asks making the girl have a small frown.
"Wait so you have no memories about the Officers Academy?" she asks in shock before composing herself "A-anyways I'm Annette."
"Well I would say my name but it seems like you already know it, nice to meet you, Annette," Ash says before informing her "I saw the Professor setting up the classroom a minute ago so you might need to head to cla-" not letting him finish his sentence he sees Annette run past him and before he can turn around he hears her yell.
"Why is this barrel here!?" before she gets up and continues running. Causing Ash to laugh a little bit at how similar that was to him when he was younger back in Kanto.
"Well that's something, time to take a nap" Ash sighs about the day he has already had while it hasn't even been 3 hours since he woke up. after he gets to his room he takes off the vest and takes his Pokeball belt off, he then lays in his bed and takes his nap unaware of the storm that is going to be coming his way.
