No Break For True Love
Prologue

This is my first Harry Potter story. It will be mostly centered on Harry and Ginny's relationship on the Horcrux Hunt and perhaps after the war.
Everything is canon compliant until Harry is chosen by the Goblet of Fire.
Goblet of Fire: Ginny was one of the few who believed Harry from the moment he was selected to be a champion (even if it's mainly because she doesn't want to ruin any chance of being with him by not trusting him). Harry is thankful that at least one Weasley believes him. During the few weeks leading to the first task, they develop a new bond and he told her the truth about Sirius and Pettigrew's betrayal. He even showed her the map and his Invisibility Cloak. About a week after the Yule Ball has been announced, Harry asks Ginny to be his date (before Ron's advice for him to invite her) and they didn't tell anyone who they were going to the ball with. At the end of the ball, he kissed her on the cheek before they went to their respective dorms. Two months later, Ginny was Harry's treasure for the second task. And she let Harry cry on her shoulder after Cedric's death.
Order of the Phoenix: They became closer and the twins bet on how long it will take until they are officially together. Harry and Ginny first kissed under the mistletoe after the DA reunion before Christmas break. Their kiss was much more passionate than the one with Cho, and when the kiss breaks, Harry asked her to be his girlfriend, which of course she happily accepted. During the Christmas break, they told everyone they were officially a couple. Arthur and Molly were overjoyed to see their daughter happy and that Harry was closer to being really a part of their family. And Sirius and Remus told the new couple how much they reminded them of James and Lily and the others congratulated them. When Harry taught the DA how to make a Patronus, Ginny focused on the memory of their first kiss and was the first DA member who successfully produced a Patronus: a beautiful silver doe (yes, the same as Lily and Snape). During the rest of the school year, they shared a few dates and many passionate kisses. They managed to save Sirius in the Department of Mysteries.
Half-Blood Prince: The Golden Trio officially became a quartet. Harry and Ginny were often seen holding hands or with his arm wrapped possessively around her waist. When he recruited her on the Quidditch team, there were a few remarks about how she was on the team only because she was his girlfriend, but after Gryffindor's first game there was no doubt (except from Slytherins) that she would still be on the team even if there was nothing going on between her and Harry. Before the Christmas break, as to celebrate their one-year anniversary, they went to the Room of Requirement to lose their virginities. They made love a few more times during the year.
