64 days since arrival…
Two days has passed. Nothing special happened. We hauled the human corpses topside, then we helped the rest of the researchers explore the rift. Simple stuff, nothing to worry about. Nothing has changed ever since I first visited the place, aside from the monster corpse that just disappeared into nothingness the moment we all left the rift.
Captain has the time of his life just exploring the rift, like he was a child on a school trip to the local zoo. I was concerned with the idea of him running around in basically a hostile territory. It felt like dancing in a bear's den because you have 10 dudes behind you armed with shotguns and rifles. We knew we can kick their asses but flaunting our presence out in the open isn't wise in the slightest.
Oh well, I'm paid to watch his ass, so I'll do just that.
Thankfully, nothing much happened in the past days. No death, no attacks. Captain got bored, so he decided to pack up and get us moving to Pornof. We're should be around a day or two away from that town, so I'll write down what happened once I reach that damnable place.
