~ Prologue ~

The Sakamaki Brothers fill one of the mansion's shared living spaces. Kanato and Ayato hovering over an injured Yui Komori. She lies on one of the many Victorian furniture pieces that spread across the mansion.

Shu sits with one leg resting on top of the other in the blue chair next to Yui's feet. Reiji behind the coffee table, and Laito behind him. Subaru close to the wall ready to punch it, as it was indeed his own silver knife Yui stabbed herself with. He gave it to her so she had something to protect herself with. Whether that was his brothers or himself.

Reiji's poison he created, along with the help of Kanato's bottle of the burnt remains of Cordelia, was in Ayato's hands. Ayato quickly opens the bottle of clear liquid, shoves it in his mouth, and presses his mouth against Yui's. Forcing her to drink the clear blue concoction, hoping to kill that evil wench once and for all!

This would allow her to have her own heart… That is, if she survives the awakening. It was happening at the same time she decided to stab herself, buying Ayato time to critically injure his Uncle Richter. Laito disposed of Cordelia's dress originally from the Demon World and Richter as well with the flames from their home world. Closing the room behind him and having his familiars take care of the aftermath and cleaning up.

Yui was able to drink all of the poison. Ayato lifts himself, watching her color come back in her face.

"You said this is to get rid of that witch, but isn't this going to hurt her as well?" Ayato asks Reiji without moving his gaze from his 'Pancake'.

Reiji lifts his glasses with his index finger and folds his arms across his chest. "No. This particular poison only works on the person whose DNA was part of the ingredients of the poison." He looks directly at Ayato, who whipped his head to look at his four eyed brother. "There is also no need to worry about any risk to you. Even though you share the similar DNA as Cordelia, you also have the blood and DNA of Karlheinz. His power and DNA will surpass any poison, even ones created specifically for demons."

Ayato looked back at Pancake. He'll get Reiji back later...

Would she survive this? It would be a pain for another Sacrificial Bride to kick the can, and be another human taxidermy for Kanato to gawk at. That would mean there would be yet another woman having to go through the awakening and be added to the collection. Even though they have a mansion, there is only so much space till they use yet another room.

Kanato watches the puncture wound in the middle of Yui's chest. He notices as the wound closes up, slowly. "Look! Her color is back and the wound is closing." Holding Teddy closer to him.

Ayato diverts his eyes to her small chest. It was closing! And her heart… was slowing down. Like a little drum beating slower. Everyone could hear it.

"Shit!" Subaru whispers to himself. On the verge of punching the wall next to him.

"And another hole in the wall we are going to have to fix." Reiji thinks to himself without even looking at the youngest brother.

Then at long last, a gasp! Yui gasping for air. Holding her chest from the pain of not having enough oxygen in her lungs. She barely opens her eyes to see a soft yellow light. As she starts to control her breath, her vision starts coming back to normal. She can make out gold metal holding tiny sparks of light. She blinks her eyes to fix her vision. She then starts to make out the chandelier above her.

Where was she? The last thing she remembers is stabbing herself and Ayato catching her before hitting her head against the hard stone staircase. Which with her luck, would have given her a concussion along with an injured heart.

She turns her head right to see Ayato next to her. "Ayato-kun." She blinks a couple of times to make sure this is real.

"Hey." He responds. Watching her lift her hand up toward her face. She stares at the silk white glove she is wearing. And notices she is also in a strapless purple dress.

"This dress isn't mine! What happened? I remember using Subaru's knife." She looks to Ayato for an answer.

He gives a slight smirk. "There's no need for you to know that right now." He replies.

She then starts to notice that it wasn't just Ayato there. Everyone was! Kanato above her by the armrest of the loveseat, and everyone else behind the coffee table. All watching her with hardly any expressions on their faces.

When internally, they were shocked by what they are witnessing. She survived! The first Sacrificial Bride to survive the awakening… Which would mean…

Yui pushes herself up slowly. Still weak from not getting enough oxygen in her blood and tired muscles from trying to keep her heart beating, as it bled out.

Yui touches her throat. Her tongue dry and her throat craving the feeling of liquid in her mouth. "I'm so thirsty. I wonder why?"

She looks at the 6 Sakamaki Brothers. All of their eyes looking straight back with eyes that changed bloody red. Each and every one of them.

This will be more based on the anime. I have been watching the gameplay and reading translations on tumblr.I have also read the manga translations too. I will do my best to input those in the story as well. I will also be adding some of my own ideas, especially regarding Yui.

Sometimes Yui annoys me, as she reminds me of the dumb blonde stereotype. Well, we will change that a tiny bit! Manga Yui definitely knew how to bite back.

And there of course will be some romance and SPICY moments... However, expect more actual story and character developments. I will not be pairing a specific couple in this story, in order to focus on an actual story.

I will say though… I'm not a Kanato or Laito fan. (hides behind my couch)

I am also not a fan of Carla or Shin… Still debating if I want them in the story at all… They would make a great part of the story. And OF COURSE! Plan on reading the Mukami Brothers! Hashtag team Ruki and Team Yuma!
