"Ouch! Did you just prick me?" Cat yelps. "You'll be fine," I mumble through a mouthful of pins then one by one put them in my latest dress design. "Just be glad it wasn't a spinning wheel. Can you imange sleeping for a hundred years?" "Now that's what I call a catnap!"
Cat's being my mannequin as I work on the dress, but his motivations are still unclear to me. Though Cat is a soft ball of fluff, who has a kind heart. Cat drapes open his peacock feather fan and flutters it. "Romeo, Romeo, when shall this Kitty get a Oreo?" I glare up at him. "Your Romeo, and you ate my whole bag on Monday! I knew there was a hidden reason." "Speaking of hiding, have you seen my catnip mouse?" "Catnip isn't coming back until you can control yourself. You should have seen Mom's face when she found the toilet paper shredded." "Ah, me. Hours seem long when you don't have a catnip mouse." Cat grins down at me and winks. "You really need to brush up on your classics. What kind romantic things do you read anyway?" "Um….." even with all the powder on his face his cheeks blush a rouge red. "Manga, and oh! I like Rom-coms and Disney!" "Impressive. But it was Shakespeare that wrote Romeo and Juliet. Don't you pay attention in class?" "I'm not answering that. And how is it considered romantic when they die at the end?" "I didn't think of that. Okay, your clear to change."
"I don't know. I'm kinda use to these heels," he grins at me. When he comes back, I'm sitting on my chaise and for some reason I spring up and give him a big hug. "Thanks for being you, Kitty. I love you. Never stop being you, okay?" Cat's green eyes sparkle wickedly. "You shouldn't have said that. For your going to get a whole lot puns!"
"Would it help if I bake you cookies? Though someone ate all the Oreo, I think I can make a batch of chocolate chip." "Princess, I will eat any cookie you make, Oreo or not."
"Come on, let's get downstairs. Then we can watch a Rom-com!"
