Marinette smiled to herself before shutting off her small bedside light. It had been a great day from seeing Adrien at school and no satsumas. Why couldn't everyday be like today? She fell asleep, thinking, of course about a certain blonde hair boy with green eyes.

The trapdoor creaked open slowly, and Cat peeked his head in. "Marinette?" he whispered. Great, she was already asleep and he had a story for her to read to him. He peeked his head up into the loft. Maybe she just hadn't heard him? "Princess?" he tried again. Marinette rolled onto her back, clutching her small handmade Cat Noir doll. "Oh, Adrien," she mumbled sleepily. Cat's ears drooped. So, she was asleep. Cat looked down to the corner of the room and sighed. His sleeping box was there, but it seemed so tiny tonight and Marinette's bed was way more comfortable then a cardboard box. He crawled onto the pink mattress. Did people like when their cats curled up in their arms? Hm, it was worth a shot. Besides, Marinette did like cuddling. Cat carefully placed his hands on the blanket, careful not to wake her. Marinette turned over, burying her face in her pillow. She won't even notice, Cat thought with a smile and gaining more confidence.

He started kneading the blanket, for Cat liked it fluffy and just so. Marinette stirred slightly, opening one sleepy eye. "What are you doing?" "Getting comfy," Cat grinned, still kneading. Marinette giggled. "That tickles." Finally, Cat was satisfied with his handiwork and curled up onto of Marinette and her blanket, purring softly as he slept.

Marinette stroked his fluffy hair and smiled. She liked having a big warm Cat to cuddle with.
