Astrid watched Hiccup take down pieces of paper off the wall and put them in a stack and said 'she's old crush. Toothless is the only thing I care about now' and whispers "who is Toothless and what girl did he like?"
Hiccup left the forge and took rope with him.
Astrid lost track of him in the forest and sighs.
She walks home to eat lunch.

Hiccup tied rope to the prosthetic tail fin practice flying around the cove.
The rope ripped off.
Hiccup took his hammer and played chase the light with Toothless.

Gobber comments meet the Terrible Terror.
Tuffnut comments "look at this little guy. He's not a threat."
The Terrible Terror jumped on Tuffnut knocking him over and suck on his nose.
Hiccup took his shield and reflects sunlight on the stone floor.
The Terrible Terror chase after the light around to its cage.
Tuffnut comments "he's better than any of us at fighting dragons."
Astrid punches Tuffnut in the face in anger.
Tuffnut comments "hurt. Very hurt now."
Hiccup left the arena and walk across the bridge when Snotlout, Fishlegs, Tuffnut and Ruffnut surrounded him with questions.
Hiccup scowls "leave me alone. I'm not going to reveal my secrets about how to take down dragons because we're not friends and I don't want to be friends with any of you!"
He leaves them there in stun silence.
He walked to the forge and made a pedal and gears while Astrid watched him in secret.
Astrid left to go train in the forest throwing her ax at trees.
In the morning he practice working the pedal and gears on a rope.
A strong wind blew against Toothless snapping the rope.
They rolled back and landed on strange grass.
Hiccup found Toothless rolling around in it like a cat on catnip.
He took a piece of it with him to dragon training.
(In the dragon arena)
Gobber comments "your facing the Gronckle again.
The Gronckle flew around looking for a target until it spotted Hiccup out in the opening and flew straight at him.
Hiccup held out his hand holding the grass for the Gronckle to sniff.
The sniff it stuck its tongue out in happiness.
Hiccup rolled him over in defeat.
Gobber and everyone stood in shock.
Villagers that didn't go on the quest for the dragon nest stop to see Hiccup have take down dragons.
After dragon training, Hiccup practice flying and the hook bent.
So at night time, he had to sneak Toothless into the village staying clear of the guards.
Hiccup makes it to the forge and use a pair of plyers to bend the hook back.
A voice interrupts his moment of focus "Hiccup? Are you in there?"
Hiccup whispers "stay put and don't move."
He jumps through the window to confront Astrid "Astrid! Hi. Hi, Astrid."
Astrid comments "I know I dropped you as a friend for ten years because I was told that I have to restore my family's honor. I hope one day you'll forgive me. Your acting weird with knowing how to take down dragons.
I know your hiding something with your secret project. I also know you have a crush on a girl and I was wondering, are you seriously going to leave her behind without telling her?"
Hiccup scowls "you been spying on me in the forge?!"
Astrid comments "you wouldn't tell me what you been doing in the forest or the secret projects such as a fin or the saddle!"
Hiccup scowls "that's because I don't trust any of you to tell on me! Your on your own. And as far as marriage contracts, count me out as one of your suitors because I don't want nothing to do with you.
I proved that I would be best choice to lead as Chief in the arena facing the Hideous Zippleback. Snotlout ridicule me and the twins laughed at me. Neither you or Fishlegs stood up for me. I have no home on Berk!"
Toothless heard Hiccup's attitude towards the female and pulled him through the window and flew over the counter.
Astrid looked inside to see him gone and sighs.
Hiccup patted Toothless's side "thanks, bud. I was getting mad at her for spying on me and all of a sudden want answers from me because I'm beating her in dragon training."
(With Astrid)
Astrid returned home and says "mom? Do you believe that there could be a way to fix a friendship after ten years of stop talking to him?"
Brynhild sighs "well ten years would be a long time to abandon a friend and could be impossible to rebuild. Why do you ask?"
Astrid sighs "I questioned Hiccup about why he won't tell me the secrets of beating dragons and weird fin project and the saddle project. He was pulled through the forge window and disappeared."
Brynhild sighs "maybe it has to do with him training with someone that the villagers wouldn't approve?"
Astrid went to bed.
In the morning, Hiccup test the flight gear on Toothless flying through sea stack.
Hiccup lost his instructions sheet and flew passed them off memory.
After they pasted them with success, Toothless shot a fireball and it exploded to celebrate.
Hiccup got a tan to his face after flying through fire ring.
It was evening when they settled on an island.
A group of Terrible Terrors swarmed by to steal fish.
Toothless hogging the fish.
A Terrible Terror grab a fish from the pile.
Toothless grabbed it from the Terror and ate it.
The Terrible Terror hiss and suck gas to blow fire and Toothless spit a flame into the Terror's mouth cause him to cough.
Hiccup comments "not so fireproof on the inside. Here you go" tossing the fish to it.
The Terrible Terror ate the fish and walked over by Hiccup and laid down beside his leg.
Hiccup comments "everything we know about you guys is wrong."
