Cat dozed in his box as Marinette sat her desk watching a YouTube video. Seeing a message from Alya pop up on the screen, Marinette gasped aloud.
Cat, who wasn't officially asleep and was always curious crawled out of his box and over to the computer. "What is it, Princess?" "Alya said to check my e-mail, but I have a bad feeling about this!"
Okay, she should have been more careful when she got her ice cream cone as she had gotten it all over her face as Ladybug, and how was she to know when an actual cat and not her lovable fur ball of a companion was going to jump in her lap and sending the ice cream soaring only to land in her hair?!
"Just click it, Marinette. Whatever it is, it can't be that terrible, if its coming from Alya." Marinette squeaked as she hit the mouse. "Alya made me look old!" Marinette groaned as the image came on the screen. Cat started laughing so hard, he started meowing. "Your jawline is worth millions at any age! Its not funny!" Marinette snapped. "I still think you look cute," Cat said. His eyes sparkled with mirth and he took the mouse from Marinette's hands. "Now, let's see what Adrien thinks…."
Marinette jumped from her chair as if it had burned her. "Don't you dare send that to Agreste! Do you want me to get out the water sprayer?" To late, love, Cat thought to himself. "What's his e-mail again? I'm a hunk at what mail!"
"That's it!" Marinette took the sprayer from her shelf and spritzed him, but Cat didn't seem to mind. Instead, he rolled back from the desk and stood up. "Temper, temper, Princess!"
Oh, this Cat! His green eyes were sparkling with mirth and that smirk! "Your going to get it, fur ball!" "You know, you really remind me of Bugaboo at times."
Cat found himself knocked to the floor onto the fuzzy rug, Marinette pinning him to the ground. "So help I will burn the catnip!"
Cat brushed her cheek with his fingers, then sat up, pulling Marinette into his lap. "Marinette, I think your beautiful all the time. And don't worry, I'm not sending the photo anywhere."
Marinette was quiet, playing with his ring. "You really like me the way I am?" "Not just like. Love." Marinette smiled. "Thanks, Kitten."
Marinette sat back at her desk, but kept sneaking looks at Cat. He might be a fur ball, but he had a lovable heart.
