"Come on in, Cat. Are you ready for the sleepover?" "I've been looking forward to this all week," Cat told Marinette has he followed her inside. "I got all our favorite snacks for the movie. Can you help me bring them upstairs?"
Cat nodded, and followed her into the kitchen. His mouth begin to water as he saw the assortment of goodies Marinette assembled. Popcorn, chips, cookies, soda. He never got to eat like this at home! Cat looked around making sure he was still at Marinette's and not in some kind of snack heaven.
When they got upstairs, Marinette put Cat in charge of the snacks while she set up the pillows and blankets and the laptop. It wasn't long before they were both into the movie. Marinette snuggled into her blanket and Cat was curled up on her chaise. However, Cat was easily distracted and begin to play with Marinette's hair.
Marinette was glad Cat couldn't see her face, for it was fast turning a red color as if she was wearing her ladybug mask. Okay, she had a small crush on Cat, but who wouldn't love her adorable partner?
That was until he started snoring, and Marinette whacked him with the pillow. Nothing. She sighed, enduring the snores above her, for being Ladybug meant not having a lot of time for movies. She could put up with a few snores.
The movie ended, and Cat woke suddenly. "What did I miss?" he asked through a big yawn. "Nothing much. You ready for makeovers?"
"I think it looks good this way," Marinette said, as she let Cat look in the mirror. "A ponytail? Princess, I'm a cat, not a horse!" "Okay, I'll give you a fur cut, but your going to have to keep still!"
Cat watched Marinette in the mirror as she clipped and snipped. His shy classmate was good at so many things and he was glad that they were able to enjoy a lot of those things together. \
Cat gave Marinette a fancy up-do, but as they were admiring the pretty bun, Mama Cheng called up it was bedtime.
"I had so much fun tonight," Marinette said, as they cuddled in a blanket. She slipped her hand into Cat's. "Same here, Marinette." Cat leaned forward giving her a quick kiss on the cheek. Marinette leaned against him, feeling safe.
Next thing they knew, they were asleep together in their blanket as snug as a bug and Cat in a rug.
