Marinette hummed to herself as she weaved her knitting needle in and out, working on a handkerchief for her mother. There was a rose in the middle and Marinette focused hard, not wanting a lopsided flower.

From her vantage on her bed in her criss-cross applesauce position she saw Cat's tail pacing the floor. He was up to something. Taking her knitting, Marinette climbed down to see what he was doing, settling down in her desk chair.

Cat stood up in a hunched position, and walked over to her chair, his eyes suspicious. "Look at it, just sitting there." Marinette wasn't sure what he's was talking about, but she had to focus. "I'm busy." The smell of cookies, chocolate chip to be exact floated to Marinette's nose. Cat liked all cookies, but chocolate chippie was his very favorite. Mama Cheng had given Marinette the plate a little awhile ago.

"Utterly sinful," Cat growled, and Marinette could hear his stomach growling. Was Cat worried about getting caught with his paw in the cookie jar like last week? "Its not, actually," Marinette told him. If Cat wanted the plate, he could help himself. There was no way she was getting crumbs all over the gift, no matter how much she wanted a cookie herself.

"Look at that one. Just calling to me." Marinette giggled. "Don't you mean meowing at you?" "Cookies are no laughter matter, Princess." "Just eat the plate, already." Cat walked over to the plate and started munching on a cookie. "Oh, the chocolate! But its missing something. I'm coming, milk!"

Cat ran downstairs for the jug, and Marinette laughed as she headed back up to her bed. The handkerchief she was making would be completed in no time, for when Cat had cookies, he was very happy cat.
